the waves have us at a crossroads, itching to get to the other side, where perspective is a mere division,
but i reach my hand out and expect a burst of pressure flowing into my head like a river,
the tendrils of this heartbreak have us bursting at the seams, waiting at the shore for redemption,
one day, there will be only sand where my heart is supposed to be, and all the water will have been drained by our yearning to find each other overflowing.
