Ryder's POV:
As I cross the finish line, I feel the rush from winning. As I put the car in park I heard pretty boy pull up beside me. I get out of the car as all my guys come up to me.
Leon looks at me and says , " You think he learned his lesson?"
I look over at pretty boy to see that he is walking up to us. I look back at Leon, "I don't know, let's see." I said. I know damn well this can go two ways.
"Sorry pretty boy, but I'll give you credit, you tried." I say to him, holding my hand out to him to shake.
"You know I have a name dude." Pretty boy says to me, grabbing my hand, shaking it and I roll my eyes at him.
"So do I and it sure as fuck isn't dude, so whats your name pretty boy?" I say to him with a smirk.
"Devin, what's yours?" Pretty boy, I mean Devin says to me. I smirk as I think of how to respond. I can be a smart ass giving straight facts or I can just tell him my real name.
"Ryder but around here I'm the Devil." I smirk as I see his face change hearing my street name.
"I've heard of you, damn man I can't believe I'm looking at you." he says to me.
I nod my head to him and Nick comes up from my side.
"Hey man we should go out for a drink." He says to me lowly. I nod at him getting back into my car calling to the guys to get in and tell Nick I'll meet him at the Hell Fire, before taking off.
I hear the engine of my Corvette zo6, she is old 2004 but she is by far my favorite. I pull up to Hell Fire parking my car in front of the building shocked that the bar isn't busier then it is. As I enter the building I see my favorite Bartender Miranda behind the bar.
"Hey love can a get a shot of tequila?" I ask sweetly
"Sure hun. I'm not gonna have to take your keys again tonight am I?" She responds knowing that when I start with tequila that I is gonna be a expensive night.
"Naw tonight was good, no need to get drunk plus I have work tomorrow." I say to her.
She nods her head sliding me the shot and I watch as she starts my tab like every other night that I come in. I take the shot and order a beer before heading to the back of the bar to my normal spot.
I sit at the table for about five mins by myself before all the boys start to show up and fill in the empty seats.
"So I hear you started talking to some new hot girl. When we going to meet her?" One of the boys say to me.
"How do you know I've got someone new?" I ask knowing damn well who was running their mouth already. My private life tends to not stay private that much.
"You know who dude and you didn't answer my question when we going to get to meet her?" He asks me for the second time.
"I don't know let's just see how long she lasts first dude." I say back to him and he nods his head. I get Miranda's attention flashing her my hand with my beer getting another one. Another beer won't hurt especially if everyone keeps asking about Angel.
THREE HOURS LATER
I get into my car after getting off the phone with Angel, and let me tell you this girl is going to give me a run for my money. She has everything you could ever want in a girl and more. She is so easy to talk to that it scares me, you see I have never been the one to talk about how I feel, no matter what is going on.
As I get home I throw my key on the counter and hear a meow from my cat, I call ping blue eyes or meows a lot. He is adorable but such a pain in my ass. I go up to my room and fill his dishes and go to shower before heading to bed. I feel Ping curl up next to me, and I start to think about how beautiful this girl's smile is and how much I love her laugh. This could be so bad for me.
I could totally see myself fucking this up and losing her all together before I get to know her or even get to have her as mine.
I fall asleep try to stay positive, felling Ping purr.
