Vera's POV
"That's still disgusting," Mattia groans.
"You act like you've never slept with anyone," I roll my eyes.
"I'm gonna kill him," Mattia gets up and I push him down.
"I don't understand why you're jealous..." I frown.
"You're not allowed to sleep with anyone," Mattia growls.
*abusive mattia, here we come 😳😍*
"You're not the boss of me," I scoff.
Mattia motions for the boys to leave and they practically run out.
"I'm the boss of you and you're going to listen to me," he glares.
"Uh-huh, sure big boy," I get up from my stool and as I leave, he pushes me onto the wall and chokes me.
I smirk.
"I said no sleeping with anyone," he narrows his eyes at me.
"Boohoo, I'm scared," I tease.
He grabs a knife from the island and holds it up to my throat.
I don't know why, but my second heartbeat starts and I get butterflies.
"That's sexy," I ruffle his hair and he glares at me.
"I'll kill you if you sleep with him again."
"Welllll, I have a date with Mars in a bit so yea... I can't wait."
He chokes me harder and makes a small cut on the side of my throat with the knife.
I feel a bit of blood trail down and hit his knuckles.
My smirk getting bigger and I decide to bother him even more.
"I'll even send you a voice recording of us," I ruffle his hair again.
He looks so adorable when he's mad.
Shut up Vera. You know you're both enjoying this.
He throws the knife on the other side of the kitchen and brings his face so, so close to mine.
"I. said. you're. not. sleeping. with. anyone."
"Okay, I'll send you the voice recording,"
Then, he kisses me.
Well, he actually slams his lips on mine but it's the same thing...
It feels so much different than when I kissed Mariano.
My knees felt wobbly and they almost gave out, so I had to hold onto him for support.
"Can I sleep with you?" I mumble my joke as he unbuttons his shirt.
"Anytime," he mumbles back.

I'm putting my clothes back on and Mattia is too.
That was fun.
Way better than Mars...
The boys walk into the kitchen and Kairi frowns.
"You get turned on by a guy that's trying to kill you?" He asks confused.
"Oh hush. They were probably feelings from my missing memories," I giggle and Mattia flinches.
"So, what we did was nothing?" He asks and slowly turns around to look at me.
"Well... I dunno. Maybe it was something—I'm not sure yet," I say.
I know that I loved you when I had my memory and even without it, I know that I still do.
"Oh," he says and then walks out.
Alejandro walks over to me.
"I know you love him," he says and Kairi nods in agreement.
"I don't know. I don't know anything about myself," I admit.
"Don't worry. We'll help you get back to the old you," Kairi says in support.
"I like this you, though. This is your first time sleep with Mattia and you've only 'known' him for a week. The old Vera knew him for like six months and just lead him on," Alejandro admits.
"This was my first time sleep with him?" I ask him shocked.
"Yea... That's why he was kinda sad when you said that there were no feelings attached. You're not just a hookup for him—you're his future wife," Kairi says and then covers his mouth.
Future wife??????
"Oh. Future wife... Cute," I say all weird.
"Sorry," Kairi says and I give him a supportive smile.
My phone rings from the counter and when I check, it's Mariano.
"Sorry, I have to take a call," I say and they nod.

"So, you're going to see your boyfriend?" Kairi asks with a smirk.
"He's not my boyfriend... And yes, I'm going to see Mars," I laugh and walk out of the kitchen.
Mattia's going to kill me...
Who cares.
I get dressed and quickly slip out of the house without anyone noticing and make my way to my Uber.
Vera's dress:
I arrive at the club and text Mar, letting him know I was there.
I walk inside and I make my way to the VIP room and I go inside with ease.
I see Mars sitting on a barstool with a drink in his hand.
I walk over to him and take a seat.
"It's too early to be drinking," I say.
"Who cares," he scoffs.
"Mars, are you okay?" I ask him.
"Shut the fuck up, Vera. mArS aRe YoU oKaY? Just chill, I'm fine," he mocks me.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry. Relax," I soothe.
"You should leave the assholes that you live with and come live with me," Mars says.
"I can't Mars. You know that," I say.
"But I love you," he retorts.
"But you—wait what? Mars you can't be saying shit that you don't mean," I warn him.
"But I do mean it. That's why I won't leave you alone," he says.
He's just drunk. He's just drunk.
"Mars let's get you home, okay?" I help him get off the stool and I walk him towards his car.
I take his keys from his hands and drive him home.
"Can you stay?" Mars asks as I park the car.
"I- um, okay," I say and help him into the house.
I turn on the shower so he can sober up a bit and I help him undress.
"Do you love me back?" He asks suddenly.
"I don't know..." I admit.
"Please love me back," he steps into the shower.
