"shouldn't we be having breakfast at your home instead, rosie? your fans might see you here." jennie arched a brow at her younger friend, waiting for her response to her query.
chaeyoung already played such a situation beforehand. having known jennie for years, she was sure that the brunette would be asking impromptu questions whenever there was a change of plans.
"oh, i don't mind, unnie. besides, i wanted you to have first meal back home at your favorite café." she lied smoothly.
once she saw jennie shrug, she gave her a nonchalant smile and continued to pay attention to her waffles and return to her disturbed reverie. it was already eight in the morning; jennie and chaeyoung, along with yoongi, were enjoying a light breakfast at one of the best cafés in the heart of seoul. the min couple just arrived from paris and chaeyoung was the one who was tasked to fetch them from the airport.
jungkook and lisa's anniversary banquet was fast approaching, and majority of their group of eleven were already back in korea. the only ones yet to arrive were jisoo and namjoon. none of them were involved in the planning process, (hell, they were even sure neither lisa nor jungkook busied themselves with it), but their attendance was severely esssential.

after dropping the min couple off at their residence in hannam the hill (which was an upscale apartment complex in seoul), chaeyoung returned to her own tenement.
"you're back earlier than expected," a deep masculine voice greeted her as soon as she entered.
she idly took off her jimmy choos and walked passed her boyfriend, ready to continue her slumber on the comfortable couch in the living room. however, before she could reach her desired destination, two arms wrapped around her waist.
chaeyoung couldn't help but smile. she felt him leave a kiss on her neck before nuzzling it. she turned to face him, still in his embrace. she placed a chaste kiss on his lips. "they were tired."
"hm," he hummed in reply, "did you tell them about us?"
she frowned and ruffled his raven locks with her fingers, "i didn't. i'm sorry, tae."
taehyung flaunted a lopsided grin, "you don't have to say sorry, love. whenever you're ready."
this was the real reason why she refused to have jennie and yoongi over for breakfast. unbeknownst to their friends, the two of them have been in a relationship since last year and have been living together in an expensive apartment in un village.

chaeyoung sighed before planting her lips back on his. she bit his lower lip, coaxing him to part his mouth and let her enter. their tongues played in sync while their arms roamed around each other's bodies.

her hand travelled down his chiseled torso to the garter of his sweatpants. she shoved her hand into his boxers and stroked his member, all the while smirking when taehyung momentarily paused. chaeyoung took advantage of it and pushed him off of her body.
she took out her hand and remained eye contact with him as she discarded her bra to the side, leaving her topless in front of him. chaeyoung kneeled to the floor and pulled down his pants and boxers.

before they could proceed, the doorbell started dinging from the other side of the room. just when they planned to ignore it, the sound became incessant, causing both of them to separate their bodies. they attempted to fix themselves quickly before taehyung jogged to the metal entrance.
he pried the door open without bothering to look at the peephole and was shocked to see the other person on the other side of the door.
there was kim jisoo in all her glory, her eyes covered with a classic pair of branded aviators and her body clad in apparel fresh off the runway.
"taehyung?!" she remarked, just as baffled as he was.
"jisoo? what are you doing here?" he asked.
"i came here to see chaeyoung," her eyebrows furrowed, "this is her unit, right?"
taehyung started to think. jisoo was a tattletale and if he told her that chaeyoung and him were living together, she would surely tell the others. his girlfriend wasn't ready and he wasn't going to jeopardize her comfort. so, he lied.
"actually, chaeyoung moved out a few months ago. i needed a new place to stay at so, i bought her unit."
it was a credible fabrication. taehyung was the chief executive of a renowned airline and was investing in different ventures at the same time. it was bogus to say that he couldn't afford a place in this elite apartment complex. plus, he's been friends with chaeyoung since junior high; if he were to ask her a small favor, who could say she wouldn't comply?
"oh," jisoo quipped, "do you know where she lives now?"
"i don't know, soo. i'm sorry."
"well, i better go ahead. i'll see you at lisa and kook's, tae." they shared a small hug before jisoo walked away from the door, her ear already pressed against her phone in a call.
"was that jisoo?" chaeyoung asked when he entered.
he nodded his head. "that was close."
"don't worry, love. we'll tell them after the banquet, alright?" chaeyoung kissed him gently on the cheek.
the buzzing of their phones caught their attention. she immediately grabbed hers from the coffee table and she gasped at the notification that popped from her screen.
It seems like some sort of ruckus is going to shake our circle members.
