Kaia's POV
I was siting in Calc with Xavier and he was not paying attention at all. Instead, he decided he wanted to play in my hair as I worked.
"God you smell good." He moaned as he practically swam in my hair.
Out teacher had stepped out for a moment and he couldn't keep his hands off me. He loved to hold me, and show me affection. I wasn't complaining tho.
"Yes baby boy... I'm trying to do some work. I gotta catch up remember." He pouted and scooted back in his chair.
"Put that bottom lip away" He chuckled.
"Can you come back home, the bed was empty last night." He cooed and I ran my fingers through his hair.
I go home for one night and he misses me. Too sweet.
"Okay, I will. But you have to make dinner. And I'll buy the groceries." He nodded excitedly.
"It's a date." He gave me an Xavier smile.
The bell rung and I knew that we would separate. He smothered me with kisses in the hallway and I heard a gag.
"Ew, you two again." Maia stoped in her tracks as she saw the two of us.
"Awe. Little sister don't be mad." She groaned as Xavier wrinkled her hair.
"I gotta get to class I'll see the two of you later." I laughed and went to the science lab.
I sat and hoped my partner wouldn't be an ass. Just to my luck Will came and sat right by me.
"Thank God it's you if this seat was taken I'd stab my eye with a beaker." We both laughed as he but on his glasses.
"I heard about Ryan or whatever his name is. What he did was crazy as fuck. How are you? I knew you guys were kinda close."
"I'm still kinda processing it. It's a shock. I'm upset about it cause you think you know someone." I shook my head and took of my jacket.
Ryan was a sensitive topic. And to be honest, I haven't really thought about it. I've been trying to sleep to avoid my thoughts. Or just trying to keep myself busy. I don't want to think about him.
"Yeah I get what you mean. It must be hard. But I also heard that you and Xavier are officially together." He nudged my arm and gave me a smirk.
I blushed just at the thought of us. We were pretty cute.
"I'm happy for you Kaia. You deserve it." Our teacher walked in and gave us instructions on what to do.
1 almost deadly science experiment later
After that shit I just wanted to take my ass home. Will and I managed to make some concoction that exploded in our faces.
I immediately found a bathroom to attempt to fix my face and hair. I did they best I could with the limited resources and decide to take it or leave it.
I walked out to my locker and hung out there for a while. I had a free period and nothing to do.
I slid down to the floor and opened my book. I had been reading this before all of the crazy stuff that's happened these past few days.
Reading allowed me to escape the harshness of reality. It allowed my never ending thoughts to finally be hushed and silenced.
I heard loud footsteps and decided to look up to a very tall Xavier.
"Heyyyyyyyy." He slurred.
"Uh oh. Xavier no." He giggled like a school girl.
"What? What happened?" He grinned and knew exactly what he did.
"Are you drunk?" I smelled his clothes and he had a small trace of alcohol.
"No... Matty and I just had a little bit to drink. Nothinnnnn toooo much ya know." I couldn't help but laugh at how adorable he was drunk.
"Have I ever told you how pretty you really areeee. I mean I wouldn't mine if you carried some Carter babies for me." Always complementing me. Even when drunk.
"Come on big boy... lets get you on your feet. I gotta get you home before you get suspended for drinking on school property." I helped him stand and he stumbled back a bit.
"I might get in trouble for fucking on school property if you keep touching me like that." I couldn't help but laugh and he joined me.
"I'm sure." I walked us both to his usual parking spot.
"Where are you keys." I held out the palm of my hand. This would be tough.
"Nope. I only I drive my cars. You a no good driver Kaiaa." He shrugged his shoulders and sat on the hood.
"Xavier this is no time to argue. You drunk and I'm sober. If the police catch you they'll take away all of you pretty cars. Now do you want that?"
Tears began to swell in his eyes.
"But... but... I love my cars Kaia. They can't do that to meeeeee." He put his face in his palms and sobbed.
I was having the time of my life time watching this. It's rare you get to see him be that vulnerable.
"Come on." I ushered him into the passenger seat and buckled him in.
I had forgotten that this car was push to start. I pushed the button and the engine roared to life.
"Wow.... that sounded niceeeeee." He looked astonished at what his own car could do.
"Hmmmhm." I slowly crept out of the parking lot and made my way to his penthouse.
1 difficult time of dragging a drunk Xavier up the stairs later
"Come on one more step and then you'll be in bed babe." I groaned and my muscle ached.
Xavier was 6'5 188 pounds. And here I was my little 5'4 female that weighed 132 pounds trying to drag that up stairs.
"I don't wanna go to bed unless you don't have anything on." He smirked.
"Yes Playboy Carter I know." Finally once he saw his neatly made bed he plopped down.
I walked to the bathroom and attempted to cool down. It was way to hot of a day for this shit with Xavier.
I came back to see a large sleeping Xavier with snores like an ogre.
I gently smiled and pulled a chair on his side of the bed. I admired and said a small prayer.
That we'd live a long healthy life together. That we'd always be in each other's life. That I'd be a successful lawyer and that one day we'd be a family with 5 babies. And that we'd find a way to make amends with our parents.
I always wanted to be a mommy to multiple people. I blame it on my only child syndrome. People think it's so nice and cool, but it's really lonely. Especially being raised by a single mother.
I ran my finger through his very thick hair. If we had a son he'd be a problem, and so would his hair.
"Hi Xiey Wexiy." I cooed and brushed the back of my hand against his cheek. I don't remember the last time I called him that.
I striped out of my clothes and kept on my lingerie. I crawled in between the white sheet and cradled X.
His arms automatically wrapped around me. I felt myself drift off to sleep with out a worry in the world.
5 hours of cuddly sleep later
Xavier POV
I woke up to have my heart beating inside of my head. It was pounding and I could literally hear it. A bunch of tickley stuff was around my neck and face.
I opened my eyes and realized they were Kaia's curl. I don't remember anything up until going to see Matthew. Then I put two and two together. Going to see Matthew, and a pounding headache.
I got drunk. Poor Kai.
She's so strong. I look over to the clock 8:58. Damn it's late. And she wanted to make dinner. I gently slid out of bed and walked over to her side.
I placed my hand on her torso and gently rubbed.
"Kai baby... wake up for me." Sure enough those precious eyes fluttered open.
She scrunched her nose and stared at me.
"I know I woke you up, and your mad at me." I cooed.
She yawned and stretched in bed. She looked around the room and at the clock. Her eyes widened.
"Xavier I have to go home and feed Super. She's probably siting home hungry." Super's little paws pitter pattered against the tiles.
She gave Kaia a bark, almost as if to say "I'm here mama."
"Remember you left her at my house an extra day." She picked Super up as if she was a toddler.
"Yeah, I do now." She nodded and looked relieved.
"You still wanna go to the grocery store cause it's getting late." She nodded and followed me downstairs.
"And thanks for dragging me up the stairs baby. I don't even wanna know the crazy shit I said." She could only laugh in response.
"The stuff you said made it all worth it." I shook my head.
I let her pick which car to drive this time.
"Close you eyes, circle three times, and grab a set of keys." She giggled and did as I said.
"Ouuuuuu, i8."
We both got in my grey BMW. People liked to have all these weird ass colors on their cars but I liked mine classy. And sleek. Black, grey, and white were all I needed.
1 sing along ride to the grocery store later
"Okay okay."
"Is that your Pop Smoke voice babe?" I laughed and she gave me a smirk.
I'll give it to her she did put me on. And I don't regret it.
"Okay, we need pasta, steaks, peppers, and evaporated milk." I looked around to see Kaia no where around.
Poor thing probably got kidnapped. But it's okay, she'll just talk their ear off like we practiced and they'll let her go.
I was currently in the drink and snack isle. I looked to my far right and saw Kaia with Coca-Cola in her hand.
"Put it down baby." She stuck out her lower lip and her eyes glossed.
"Please Xie, you never buy it for me." I pushed the cart over to where she stood.
It was a 6 pack of 12 ounces. She'd get one a day and should be fine. There's a reasoning behind this soda ban with Kaia. She is a demon of regular soda.
She won't sleep, she'll laugh at the walls, and all she'll wanna do is jump around.
"Fine. But you only get one bottle a day. Am I understood." She stood at attention.
"Sir, yes sir." She saluted after her pledge.
"Good." We walked around and got all the ingredients to our pasta.
"What are we gonna call this pasta though baby." I looked over to Kaia holding a box of microwaveable popcorn.
"The Drunken Pasta."
"Appropriate since we were drunk when we made it." I semi whispered.
She giggle and I growled in the crook of her neck.
"Come on time to go." She nodded and we headed to check out.
2 hours later
"Xavier, I think we might have a food baby due in 9 months." I laughed as she rubbed her inflated stomach.
"It'll be due by tomorrow when your stomach returns to its original state." She provided a sweet chuckle.
"I have some thing to show you." She gave me a devious smirk.
"Babe... I don't have enough energy to make you scream the was you deserve. Not tonight." She laughed hard and it filled the house.
"What's so funny? You know I'm right." She got up and took off my hat for herself.
"No silly. Don't you wanna see what I painted the other day?" She placed the hat over her head and smiled.
I nodded and clapped my hands excitedly. She went upstairs for a while before I heard little foot steps.
"What's your mama doing?" I whispered to Super and she whimpered.
Kaia came back down with a large canvas and a sheet over it. She snatched off the sheet and before me was a painting of us.
I knew exactly what it was. It was a picture of us we had taken a couple of years ago. I haven't seen that picture in such a long time.
"It's magnificent. Holy shit Kai." She blushed as I brushed my fingers along the paintbrush strokes.
"Baby. No for real. Can I have this framed." She nodded.
"Wow." I stared in astonishment.
"You like it?" She forced a "cheese" smile.
"I'm in love with it." I kissed on her all over.
"But how'd you do it?" I tilted my head.
"I found the picture when we were going through them."
"My talented little baby." I placed her on my lap and she took a sip of her Rosé.
"Happy?" I prayed she nodded.
"Very much so." She pulled me closer to her chest.
"And I'm not going anywhere."
