BECAUSE FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA DECIDED TO LEAVE THE VERY BEGINNING SCENE OF THE MOVIE (WHERE PONYBOY GETS JUMPED) IN THE FINAL PRODUCT OF THE MOVIE, THEY FORGOT TO CLEAN OFF THE BLOOD FROM PONY'S CHIN WHEN ONE OF THE SOCS PULLS A BLADE ON HIS NECK.

If some of you didn't know, there was SUPPOSED to be a beginning scene in the movie, showing C. Thomas Howell (Ponyboy Curtis) getting jumped by a bunch of Socs. However, that scene was left out in the final product of the movie. During the scene, one of the Socs pulls a blade on Pony and cuts his neck a little, causing blood to dribble down his neck. However, if you notice, that blood was never cleaned off for the rest of the movie, and since no one saw how he got it (considering the scene was left out of the movie), I would call that a pretty noticeable mistake. WAIT! KEEP READING! FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVEN'T ALREADY DONE THIS, I ADVISE YOU TO ONLY WATCH THE EXTENDED VERSION OF "THE OUTSIDERS" WITH THE EXTRA 22 MINUTES BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU SO MUCH MORE INFORMATION, IT'S BETTER, AND IT MAKES MORE SENSE. THANK YOU, BYE.

A little snippet of the deleted scene where Pony gets jumped.

Where C. Thomas Howell (Ponyboy Curtis) is getting a "haircut" under the chin.
