Author's POV
Taani was in her room looking at her luggage one last time when Swayam knocked on her door. She turned to look at him who passed her a small smile while she too returned it,
"Gang is here, we are leaving in ten, your ready?"
She just nodded making him sigh dejectedly, Taani was normal with everyone in the gang and Rey but she had a hard time in becoming normal with Swayam, owing to the fact that he was her brother, the person who always swore to protect her from everything, take care of her from childhood, the bond she had with him was above any other bond but even he disappointed her. She could not find it in herself to forget that even he did not support her when she needed him the most, she could not complain to others, they didn't had blood relation with her, they did not knew her from childhood, she did not tie rakhi to all the other every year but from Swayam she had those expectations. Even he could not blame her for her ignorance, he has hurt his baby sister, the person who was important to him more than anyone in this world, the person he loved the most but he broke her heart and he knew he deserved it.
They both reached downsairs where the whole gang was waiting for them to come while the servants loaded their luggage in the big bus which had their luggage, both singhania's and shekhawat's had already gone to Suryagarh for Rey and Taani's wedding preps but the gang decide to go ten days earliar by cars instead of flight so that they can have a road trip too and enjoy along the way so and they can have plenty of time to see whole Suryagarh before the wedding. Hence they were there in Shekhawat mansion with two big eight seater cars for the trip while their luggage was loaded in separate bus because of the infinite bags the girls carried for the wedding.
"Seriously girls, itne bags, maana we are going to a wedding and a long holiday of some 15 days but itna sab?"
Vicky made a face seeing all the gils having atleast three big bags along with two small ones and their carry bags too.
"right, sabke atleast 5 bags hai." Amar said supporting Vicky while Nil sarcastically asked,
"Why can't you girls pack light."
Simmi frowned at him angrily,
"Oh hello, it's because hum ache se pack karte hai, matching outfits, with jewellery, footwear and make up in different bags."
Neha said too,
"Tum logo ki tarah nahi kahin kuch bhi daal diya, clothes vale bag ke sath hi shoes and usi me toiletries."
"Oye, hum aisa nahi arte bhai log, hum bas vhi le jate hai jo zaroori hota hai, tumhari tarah nahi, ek kapde ke sath 5 acce..access.."
"Accessory! Bolna to aata types nahi hai, rakhoge kya." Ashi told him making the girls laugh when Rinni said,
"Tum boys ko fashion ka kuch pta bhi hota hai?" They all continued bickering while both Rey and Sharon were standing in a side shaking their heads at them waiting for their respective partners to come down when they did, Rey looked at her standing beside Swayam dressed in casuals still looking so pretty like a fresh morning flower.
"Guys, stop it, girls are also carrying wedding stuff that mumma and aunty asked them isliye luggage zyada hai, ab chalo isse pehle yahi lunch time ho jaye." Swayam said to stop their fight when Rey agreed,
"Yes, he's right, Mumbai se Udaipur which is the first city in Rajasthan is a 14-15 hours drive including breaks and all, or usse age 3 hours more to Suryagarh, it's 7 right now, we wil reach by 1 in night agar abhi chale to."
"Then let's go guys, seating arrangements? Boys and girls in two different cars?" Sharon asked everyone when Rey immediately said,
"No!" The others looked at him when Vicky laughed making the others laugh too,
"Of course, usse Taani ke sath baithna hoga." Rey glared at him liking the idea very much but he had something else planned right now for his best friend, he has noticed the sir between Swayam and Taani which he wanted to clear in this road trip so he said,
"Aisa nahi hai, I was only saying for you all couples, Vicky-Neha and Nil-Simmi mere or Sharon ke sath aa sakte hai as I have something important to discuss with her and the rest in other with Taani and Swayam." Sharon looked at him understanding his trick and readily agreed and the others too while Swayam passed him a thankful glance knowing whu he did this. They all settled in the cars, here Vicky was driving with Neha in the passenger seat, Sharon and Rey were in middle seat while Nil and Simmi were in the last one and the other car Swayam was driving with Taani beside him and Ashi Rinni in middle while Bharat and Amar in the last seat. They all started the car talking and having fun, they were going to take NH-48 for their journey, they were all talking but Taani ws sitting silently in the car which Swayam noticed,
"Taani!"
She turned to look at Swayam who was looking at her and hummed,
"Hmm"
"Mujhe tumse kuch baat krni thi, may I?"
She nodded for him to say what we wants and he started speaking,
"Tumne mujhe maaf krdiya?" He asked making her look away for a second before she said sighing,
"Abhi yahan sab hai, iss bare me baad me baat kare."
Swayam nodded at her and that was the last they spoke to each other. They drove till afternoon when they decided to stop at a restaurant for lunch. The gang climbed out of the cars, Taani to did and was moving towards the others when Swayam stopped her,
"Taani, side me baat kar sakte hai."
She nodded and they both moved towards a tree at side, both Rey and Sharon noticed them and sent each other a hopeful look. The brother-sister duo were standing under the shade of the tree waiting for the other to say something when Swayam started,
"Taani, I know bachha, mene tumhe bahot hurt kiya. It must be difficult for you to forgive me amongst everyone else coz mujhse expectations bhi zyada thi, which I failed to fulfil but please talk to me, I know thode time ke liye me bhul gaya tha that I have a sister too, I became selfish, just caring about my life, my love, my dance, that I failed to notice how much pain my sister is in. Par Taani I promise that abse aisa kabhi nahi hoga, You know na bachha how much I love you, you are the most important person in my life, in your absence I was so miserable, I realised that jin cheezo ki mene itni care ki unka hone se bhi I was not happy, I was not complete, coz meri behen mere sath nahi thi uss happiness me, un sari moments me. Please bacha, forgive your bhai, just give me a last chance, don't make me separate from your life."
Taani was quiet all time listening intently to him, she could see the tears in his eyes which was her weakness, she could never see him sad, moving closer to him she held his hand,
"Bhai, I was never angry at you, so forgive karne ka koi matlab nahi hai. It's just ki mujhe laga jab mujhe aapki sabse zyada zaroorat thi aap nahi the, but I know aapki bhi apni life hai, it's nothing wrong in thinking about yourself. Mujhe bura isliye laga coz aapne mujh par trust nahi kiya, mera sath nahi diya. But ab me vo sab piche chod aayi ho, let bygones be bygones bhai. And I am sorry if you thought mai aapse naraz hu its just sabke sath normal hone me mujhe time lagega. But I will come around. After all aap mere bhai hai, aapse baat kiye bina kab tak reh sakti hu."
She smiled at him trying to assure him that everything is alright,
"Haan, ab we are going to move forword and be like the mazing bro-sis duo like before, you know I am so angry at Rey right now, abhi to mujhe meri behen vaapis mili hai, or ye itni jaldi shaadi karke tumhe le jaa raha hai." Swayam said huffing making her smile at his complaint,
"Bhai, aap har roz mujhse mil sakte hai, ghar itna pas to hai. Or me academy bhi aajaungi and abhi bhi there are 10 days."
"Hmm, but that's different. Tum mere sath nahi rahogi." He said with a sad face which immediately turned to a grin when Taani embraced him not able to see him angry. He too hugged her patting her head affectionately, the whole gang saw this exchange between the two and smiled gratefully that everything was back on track, it was not the same like before but all of them were trying hard to mend the broken relationships. Rey and Sharon passed each other a thumbs up as the plan worked. Soon the duo joined the others and they all had food with small talks, they all were full so decided to take a stroll as there nearby was a local market for traditional indian handicrafts, the market was full of small stalls which sell many things pots, dupattas and stoles, footwear, jewellery and accessories, traditional bags, bangles and many other things.

The girls were going to every other stall looking at the things while Taani was standing with Sharon which sold silver jewellery, she was looking at long earrings or jhumkas confused which one would look good, Rey moved towards her and stood behind her where she was trying one looking at the small moirroe, she saw him standing behind her in the mirror when he shook his head saying no, she picked another one but he again did the same, she sighed putting that down too huffing making him smile, he bend a little in front plastering himself with her and picked up one passing it to her which he liked for her.
She took it and tried it looking at mirror and smiled as it actually looked amazing on her, he too smiled at her, she looked so beautiful wearing the silver earring.

Taani bought the earring and moved away when Rey saw something he liked. He bought it and followed her everywhere doing what he did on the stall. She would select things and he would help her and at the end she would buy what he liked not at all angry as she admit that his choice was actually great. Although they all were full but they ate chaat and had kulhad chai too as they heard it was very famous. They did a lot of shopping for a couple of hours making them a little behind schedule but they didn't care, after all it was a holiday.

They watched a puppet show, bought small wooden toys and decorative material, even clicked pics at different places making pouts, selfies and loads of videos with different props. All of them were having the time of their lives.
Soon all of them were again in the cars, this time rey, taani, swayam and Sharon along with the whole gangs loads of shopping bags in the last seat while Rey drove with Taani beside him and Swaron in back seat and the rest of the gang was in other car. Rey looked at her who was sitting beside him chatting with Sharon about the wedding outfits and preps while Swayam was taking rest after driving continuously for hours lying his head in Sharon's lap. He took his hand away from the gear and held hers making her look at him suddenly, he enterwined his fingers with hers and pulled her hand closer to his side and gave a peck on it. Sharon saw the little exchange between them and smiled happily. She asked Rey to play music, Taani switched on the stereo in car when a Bollywood item song started playing at a loud voice, Swayam groaned at the music making other's laugh at his irritated face,
"Really, all we need to ruin this beautiful journey is an item song, please Taani change it."
She changed the music when a song which was so close to her and the person sitting beside her started playing making them both look at each other,

Both were busy in reminiscing the old memories but this time with a smile on their faces, both the couples were in their own world enjoying the melody not wanting this trip to end but at the same time Rey could not wait for the day of their wedding to come soon, he was looking forword to all the moments they would get to spend in their wedding. It was late night around 11 pm when Swayam got a call from others to stop for refreshing somewhere, they stopped the car at a restaurant at the highway and came out stretching his body tired of driving for so long without a gap. It was a little cold in night as their were so much greenry on both the sides and it was windy.
They all freshened up and as their lunch was extremely heavily they packed some snacks for later, Taani was standing by the car with the girls rubbing her arms feeling cold which Rey noticed, he pulled his jacket off and walking towards her he put it across her shoulders from behind startling her, she looked at him and thanked him relieved from the cold weather, the jacket was too large for her covering her whole self but she was still rubbing her hands to give them some warmth, he took her hand in his rubbed them transferring some warmth making her look at him gratefully, he looked at her and pecked her forehead quickly before he made her sit in the backseat so that she can finally get some sleep. The girls were looking at them in awe seeing how much head over heels is he in love with Taani, they were having those fan girly big eyes seeing his gestures while the boys passed him angry glares as now the girls would expect them to do the same. And they were right as the girls soon started praising him in front of the boys saying they never took care of them like that. Rey ignored their glares and asked them to sit as they had to reach soon. Swayam told him to take rest in backseat while he drove this time with Sharon beside him and Nil and simmi joined them so that everyone could sleep comfortably.
Sharon was talking to Swayam as he was driving so both of them can stay awake. Nil and Simmi were sleeping in the last seat while Rey was scrolling his phone and Taani was trying to sleep comfortably. Rey looked at her whose head was again and again slipping from the seat and her hair were disturbing her, she huffed and gave up on sleeping and sat straight looking around. Rey shook his head and keeping his hand on her waist he pulled her closer making her shocked at the sudden pull, she came and banged on his chest ,
"Aap ye kya.."
"Shh, don't worry, I am not doing anything of that sort.." He chuckled lightly before placing her head on his chest and caressing her hairs, "There, comfortable now?" He asked her making her nod when he told her softly pecking on her temple, "So jao, you must be tired." Taani first wanting to pull back resisted as the warmth emitting from his body and the comfort was too good for her to leave, so instead she did the opposite and cuddled more closer to him while he kept caressing her head all the time kissing her on her head occasionally. Their hands were entwined which he kept stroking with his thumb and she soon was in a deep slumber. What he was not aware was that Swayam saw the whole scene through the rear view which was making him highly uncomfortable, Sharon glanced at him to see him making faces at the rear view mirror and looked behind to come across taarey cuddling together while Rey was treating her like a baby. She giggled and turned to her fiancée,
"Swayam, tum na, he is her fiancée now and soon going to be husband."
"So what, she is still my baby sister, isko itna lovey-dovey hone ki kya need hai?" He sulked making her giggle more shaking her head at him which disturbed Taani a little making her squirm, Rey feeling her getting disturbed again caressed her head causing her go back to sleep which Sharon again awed on. He turned to her asking her what raising his eyebrows, she pointed towards Swayam giggling where he was making faces still causing Rey to chuckle as well,
"Saale, ab to habit daal le, Shaadi ho rahi hai ab humari."
Swayam showed him his tongue saying,
"Whatever!"
