You didn't expect him calling you at this hour so you immediately accepted the call
"Yo Mark! What's up?"
"Hey Y/N"I heard his voice in a very cold way so I think there's something
"What's wrong?"
"Uhm.....Can I talk to you?"he asked
"HAHAHAHA we're already talking"I laugh at loud because of what he said
"I mean in person, are you available right now?"
"Uhhh.."I looked at the clock, it's 11pm, I guess its still early
"Yes I'm available"
"Great lets meet at the park near your house"he dropped the call
You're confused on what's going on, so you put on your hoodie and pants since it's cold outside
You slowly closed the door not wanting to wake your brother up and walked outside
MARK's POV
I arrived at the park, checked the surroundings but there are no sign of Y/N yet so I decided to go the convenience store nearby and bought 2 ice creams while waiting for her

You walk outside and saw Mark sitting at the swing,chills went up to his spine when you suddenly put your hands on his shoulders
"Pabo!"he flinched and you laugh when you saw his reaction
"I wish you saw your face" still laughing "Here help yourself" he gave you the ice cream
"Why do you want to talk to me?" sitting at the swing beside him and starts moving it
"A-actually I'm gonna ask you s-something" I felt nervous when he started to stutter
"Tell me Ma-"
"Ilikeyou" I stopped eating the ice cream hearing his words
I know that he's only joking so i chuckled, punching his arm lightly "Nahh Mark, you're just joking"
"No I'm serious Y/N ,I really like you " he looks at me directly , I'm not moving from my position, I'm still shocked
"The moment Haechan introduced you, I can't take my eyes off you, every time you smile, remember when we had our schooltrip? I really want to seat beside you but Haechan got it already, also when you told Jisung you're going to sit with him, I kinda felt jealous,how I wish that was me"I can hear him sobbing quietly
"But now I'm telling you this, I really want to tell you that I like you"he holds both of my hands

"You don't have to like me back just because I like you" he looked at me, I saw his tears going down but he still managed to put a smile on his face
"I just wanted you to know how I feel" now I can also feel my tears running through my face, I stood up and hugged him tightly

"I always want to be the best for you and I'm sorry I can't be that person." he said while staring at me still crying
I admired him for being strong despite of breaking inside. He knows that this situation is twice harder for him. Mark reached for one of my cheek, caressing it lovingly using his thumb.
"Stop crying my princess" he chuckled "I can still remember Renjun showing me some of your pictures when we're trainees back then, I can't help myself but to smile" he showed my a picture of me
"He told me that you were really hungry at that time,he took a photo of you since you look cute and wanted to show us his beautiful sister" while smiling at his phone
"You liked Haechan do you?" you widened your eyes when you heard it
"You don't have to deny it anymore, I noticed it since we met, and I know Haechan likes you too" your heart starts to beat faster than its normal speed
"But I don't know why both you can't tell each other's feelings, are you scared or something?"he titled his head
"Actually Mark I don't want to confess my feelings for him, I want to protect our friendship" looking at my ice cream melting
"I think you have to Y/N, why not take the risks, you'll never now what will happen next, you have to grab the chance before you regret everything" I can see the sincerity in his eyes
"But still its your decision, I'm just giving you my advice"now I can see Mark smiling
"All that matter to me, is you act on how you truly feel, I really want you to be happy. You deserve nothing but happiness my princess"
"Thank you for everything Mark" I started crying again
"I'm sorry for making you cry my princess, please stop crying" he wiped my tears

"I'll go home now it's already 1pm" hugging me one last time, I hugged him in return
