Next day they all join college back and few days went well with lots of fun, masti and obvious the library sessions of love birds. Although exams and cricket practice were over but still Sameer never missed the chance daily to go Library and spent time with her.
Girls reached college but first-time boys were not at parking area waiting for them like usual.
Preeti (Irritatingly) : aaj lagta hai hum kuchh jaldi hi aa gaye hai... yeh sab teri wajah se hi hua hai Naina.. roj roj aadhi raat ko hi uth kar college ki ratt laga leti hai...
Naina smack slightly on her head: bakwaas mat kar... roj teri wajah se hi late hote hai aur aaj bhi hum time par hi hai... jaldi nahin... lagta hai voh log late hai..
Priya suggested casually, "kya pata class mein chale gaye ho... vahin chal kar dekh lete hai"
Naina instantly replied confidently, "nahin Sameer mere bina andar nahin jayega..." suddenly she realizes and immediately change her statement nervously, "nahin, matlab hamaare bina voh log kahan jaate hai andar... roj yahin toh milte hai bas isiliye kaha maine..."
Preeti understood and winked to Swati smirk naughtily thinking, "yeh development toh Sameer ko batani padegi ..... khush ho jayega ki ab sirf vahi iska intzaar nahin karta... thodi si aag dusri taraf bhi lagne lagi hai..."
Priya asked confusingly as unable to decide what to do, "achchha toh chale ya yahaan hi wait karna hai... vaise class bhi shuru hone wali hai..."
They all looked each other confusingly whether to wait for boys or go ahead, then only Munna alone entered from gate and came to them...
Naina seeing him alone asked, "Sameer kahaan hai? tum akele aaj... sab theek toh hai na... voh log der se aayenge kya..." her voice was full of concern not finding him around
Munna replied, "nahin, voh yeh Rohan ki kuchh books hai jo library mein vaapas karni hai, aaj last day hai toh mujhe aana pada... varna toh Sameer ko chhod kar aane ka man hi nahin kar raha tha..."
Naina worriedly, "kya matlab... kya hua usey, kal tak toh theek tha..."
Munna, "yaar usse na bahut tez fever hai isliye kal puri raat soya bhi nahin... Rohan poori raat uski dekh bhaal karta raha issi wajah se abhi usse bhi thoda sone ka bol kar Pandit ko Sameer ke paas chhod kar mein aaya hun.... usake Nanaji aur Ramdhari bhi nahin hai ghar par toh mujhe bhi jaldi jana padega... tum logon se baad mein milta hun..."
Saying this he ran to library and came back in few minutes but surprised to see girls still standing at same place... he asked, "arey tum log class mein gaye nahin... start ho gayi hogi..."
Naina looked at Preeti with misty eyes unable to speak... after knowing Sameer is in fever, she has no heart to attend any class... but has no courage to ask Munna further that she was all willing to go to meet him...
Preeti knowing her turmoil take step ahead asking him, "Munna, kya hum sab chal sakte hai Sameer ko dekhne, ghar par voh akela hai to uska dhyan bhi milkar rakh lenge..."
Munna looked at them shockingly, Swati pinch on his arm and sign him towards Naina's dull face...
Munna understood, "haan haan kyun nahin... chalo chalte hai... vaise bhi hum ladko se akele nahin hoga yeh sab... aaj toh Nanu aur Ramdhari bhi nahin hai" he winked to Naina to make her smile, but she hardly paid any attention as all lost in worrying about him...
Naina, Preeti, Priya took an auto and Swati sit on Munna's bike, left for Sameer's house...
Pandit opened the door and surprised to see girls there standing with Munna...
Before he reacts, Naina asked hurriedly, "Pandit, Sameer ab kaisa hai... bukhar kam hua uska... tumne dawaai di usko ya doctor ko bulaya ki nahin..."
Pandit replied with a dull face, "Sameer ka toh haal vaise hi bura tha, ab to lagta hai Rohan ki bhi haalat kharab ho gayi hai..."
Preeti asked instantly, "kyun ab usse kya hua... voh toh theek tha na... Munna ne toh kaha Sameer ko bukhaar hai" she turned glaring Munna...
Pandit, "voh theek hi tha lekin shayad sari raat jaagne ki wajah se usko bhi Sameer ke saath viral ho gaya hai..."
Naina replied entering, "Munna, hum Sameer ko dekhte hai, Preeti Pandit tum Rohan ko dekho..."
Naina went with Munna & Swati to see Sameer who was almost in half conscious state due to high fever...
Naina touched his forehead, "Yaar isse to bahut tez hai bukhaar... Munna isane dawai khayi kya..." her eyes turned wet instantly seeing him in pain
Munna, "nahin yaar, dawaai kaise de jab tak yeh uthega nahin... kal se kuchh khaaya bhi nahin isne..."
Naina thinking for a while asked, "Swati tu kitchen se thanda paani aur Munna tu ek roomal le aa please... shayad patti rakhne se bukhaar kuchh kam ho jaaye..."
Rohan's fever was not too high, but Preeti insists him to take medicine and take proper rest.
Naina sits beside him on bed and start putting wet cloth on his forehead and frequently changing the cloth and water... after her continuous efforts for an hour, she touched again and now this time he was not as hot as earlier, but his eyes were still closed, and keep murmuring something inaudible to others...
Naina seeing him slightly better, "Munna, iske liye chai aur kuchh khaane ke liye laate hain, kuchh khila kar hi dawai denge..."
Munna asked, "haan par chai banayega kaun... humein toh kuchh nahin aata.. tu kahe toh mein bazaar se le aaun"
Naina declined instantly, "jee nahin... iss haal mein bazzr ka kuchh bhi nuksaan karega aur hum hain na... mein bana dungi chai bas tu mere saath chal... actually mujhe nahin pata chai ka samaan kahaan hoga..." she said as a matter of fact that its first time she visited to his house...
Naina quickly prepared tea for all as no one has eaten anything since morning and fully tired and exhausted... she prepared two trays with tea and biscuits for Rohan and Sameer separately...
Naina coming back to room asked softly, "Sameer... Sameer, please utho..."
Listening her voice, he slightly opened his eyes and surprised to see her... Munna helped him to get up and sit placing his pillow in back...
Sameer asked surprisingly, "tum...tum... yahaan kaise..."
Naina handed him tea replied smilingly, "shh shh... chup aur yeh chai piyo pehle..."
He keeps looking her in daze but still followed taking cup from her hand... his eyes glued on her cute, serene face filled with so much concern and care for him... in between she keeps checking his forehead expecting his fever to not rise again... after that she offered him medicine, which he denies...
Sameer denied making faces, "Naina, mein bilkul theek hun... mujhe dawai nahin khaani, bahut kadwi hoti hai..."
She silently took the medicine and put it in his mouth by her own hand and give water to gulp it giving a stern look which he cannot deny anymore...
Naina smiled patting his cheeks softly, "good boy, dekha kitna aasaan hai dawai khaana... tum bhi na bachchon ki tarah naatak karte ho..."
Munna giggled seeing him obediently follow her, "Naina yeh tu hi hai jo dawai khila paayi... humein to yeh saare kamre mein bhaga deta...
Sameer making cute baby face, "sab mujhpar hi rob jhad lo... bimaar hun na..."
Naina with a smile, "bimaar ho na, to ab chupchap aankhen band karo aur so jao... dekhna dawaai se kitni jaldi theek ho jaaoge..." he laid down back but keep staring at her with a content smile on his face...
Naina keeping her soft palms on his eyes smiled, "mujhe dekhne se bukhaar nahin jaayega.... hum sab yahin hai tumhare paas... tum so jao ab..."
After few minutes, he drifted into sleep being weakness and medicine effect...
Swati came to her informing, "Naina, mujhe jaana hogga... aaj koi aane wala hai toh mummy ne jaldi ghar aane ko kaha tha..." she left with Priya...
Naina, "Munna, mein in donon ke liye khichdi bana deti hoon..." saying this she left for kitchen and with help of Preeti, they cooked plain khichdi for Sameer and Rohan... Naina also prepared vegetable Pulao for Munna and Pandit as well as they both didn't eat since morning...
Naina went to Sameer and placed her palm on his forehead to check if medicine worked and smiled with a relief feeling his forehead not too hot anymore... after waiting for another one hour, she again tried to wake him up to let him eat something, "Sameer utho, aur kuchh kha lo..."
He shifted a bit and open his eyes. He tried to lift himself when Naina holds him from shoulder and help him to sit with resting his head in backrest of the bed...
She picked up the khichdi bowl from side table and placed in front of him, "yeh kha lo... tumhein energy milegi..."
Sameer looking at bowl surprised, "yeh kya hai... khichdi? lekin Naina khichdi toh bimaar log khaate hai... main nahin khaunga... mujhe toh kuchh tasty khaane ka man hai... tum aaj aloo ka parantha nahin laayi" he asked expectantly to have something more delicious
Naina laughed slowly seeing his grumpy face, "haan toh mein bhi yeh khichdi ek bimaar ko hi khila rahi hun... paratha jab tum theek ho jaaoge tab milega..." saying this she herself put one spoon in his mouth forcedly... after taking a spoon, he licked his lips liking the taste...
Sameer asked, "Naina, yeh toh bahut tasty hai... kahaan se mangwayi..."
Naina showed him fake anger, "kya matlab mangwayi... maine khud banai hai... apne haathon se..."
Sameer got surprised knowing she has done so much of efforts for him, "sorry Naina, tumhein itani takleef hui... college bhi miss karna pada aur ab yeh sab..."
Naina replied, "Sameer, mujhe laga hum dost hai toh haq se ek dusre ka saath de sakte hai.. par tumhari yeh baatein sun kar mujhe lag raha hai ki mujhe yahaan aane ka koi haq nahin tha..." saying this she starts getting up from bed when he held her hand from one hand and hold his ear from second hand and mouthed "Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you..."
She melted sitting back knowing he can never hurt her intentionally... he points towards the bowl asking, "ab jaldi se khila do kyunki itani tasty khichdi toh mein bina bimari ke bhi kha sakta hoon..." she smiled seeing his kiddish behavior and starts feeding rest of the food which he ate silently...
Sameer, "vaise Naina, Rohan aur baaki sab kahaan hai... koi nahin dikh raha..."
Naina: voh darasal Rohan ko bhi halka sa bukhar hai toh usse dusre room me rest karne ko bola hai... viral hai toh ek dusre ke saath rahoge toh aur badega....
Sameer got shocked, "kya? Rohan bimaar hai..." saying this he starts getting up when she holds his hand and said "voh theek hai, subah thoda sa bukhaar tha, usse dawai bhi de di thi aur usane khaana bhi kha liya hai... ab bilkul theek hai ... baahar Munna Pandit aur Preeti ke saath movie dekh raha hai..."
Sameer sigh in relief and keep his head on backrest and close his eyes in relax... he loves his brother and cannot afford to see him in any pain...
Naina seeing him stressed asked, "kya hua.. tum theek toh ho na... chinta mat karo Rohan ab theek hai..."
Sameer opened his eyes, smile looking at her and replied, "tum ho toh kuchh galat kaise ho sakta hai.. ab tum aa gayi ho toh sab theek ho jayega..."
He holds her hand in his, "thanks Naina for taking care of us... Nanu ne Rohan ki jimmedari mujhe di thi aur mein khud hi bimaar ho gaya... lekin tumne mere saath uska bhi dhyaan rakha... thank you so much..." he smiled imagining of the day when she will come to his house and spent her whole life with him... a beautiful dream...
