*Addison De Luca POV*
I jolt awake from my peaceful sleep and see Marco, on the end of my bed. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you" He whispers. "That's okay" I whisper back.
Fabian is asleep beside me and I shift so that Marco can lay down on the other side of him.
"I wanted to see you, to try and talk things through" Marco tells me quietly and my heart stops.
I reach forward and stroke his cheek. His eyes are bloodshot and he looks exhausted. "What do you want to talk about first?" I ask. His arms encircle my waist and I take in a breathe.
"I'm so sorry" He whispers. I don't reply and he pulls away to look at me. "I shouldn't of done those stupid things. I shouldn't have slept with Bree-"
"Beth" I correct him. "Bree, Beth, it doesn't matter because SHE doesn't matter. I made a huge mistake-" "Believe me, I know" I mutter.
He huffs at me for interrupting and I see a flash of Fabian in him. "What matters is that I am moving on. I'm done with Bree-"
"Beth" I sigh. "Addison, please" He begs. "Sorry, keep going" I bite my lip to keep from commenting.
"I'm done with her, I'm done with sneaking out, and I'm done with neglecting my own son and my loving, caring wife" My heart speeds up as he smiles.
"I love you, Addison. I love you because you're so young, barely an adult, yet you accepted me and my child.
So many women your age would have given up on me, wouldn't have dated me because I had a son. But you took responsibility for my own son, when I didn't.
You cared for Fabian like he was your own. I should never have expected you to look after my son, especially when I was out thinking about my self.
You were at home putting my child first no matter how you felt about me and my immature behaviour.
While you were at home going beyond the call of duty for my child, I was out cheating and disrespecting you and blatantly lying to you.
I'm sorry Addison. I'm truly and deeply sorry. I love you so much it hurts" Tears form in the corner of his eyes and he chokes back a sob.
"Marco, I-" I start. "Please don't, I've just poured my heart out to you. Please don't reject me. Just kiss me" He watches me with wide, child like eyes.
"Marco, I love you too" I lean in and kiss his lips softly. He gasps and kisses me back. His arms wrap around my waist and tears fall down both of our cheeks. We are careful not to knock Fabian.
"I'm sorry, I love you, I'm sorry" He mutters between kisses. "I forgive you" I say. I know I could hold everything against him and make him feel terrible, but I don't want to.
He is my husband, the one I vowed to love through the good times and the bad. It is hard to forgive him but it would be harder to move on and forget about him.
"You do?" He asks, looking shocked. I look into his eyes and see the insecurity he feels. I wouldn't normally see this type of emotion from Marco.
He is always so strong and brave. Now, he looks tired and scared. Scared that I wouldn't forgive him and I would abandon him after all we've been through.
There's only one thing I can think of to say to him. One thing that could possibly make him feel better and make him understand that I will never let him down. "You're the only man I love, more than life itself"
