One month later...
When Charming heat waves hit they hit hard and the clubs A/C unit barely spits out cold air and that's only when it's working otherwise we rely soley on shitty fans. Sometimes when I'm out in the office we get a slight breeze but it doesn't really help, I always wondered how much convincing it would take for them to put a new system in.
"Tell me again why we're sweating our balls off again?" Lola ask leaning on the office door fanning herself
"Because we've got a job with a view" I smile peeking around her to look at Juice's ass while he's hunched over a car
"Stop oogling over your hot boyfriend and let's go swimming" She whines
"Fine but I have some paperwork to finish up then we can leave" I say turning back to the computer to finish a few quick things before filling them away then letting Gemma know I was leaving
We spent the afternoon at the beach relaxing just outside town limits the beach is packed we have tunes blasting, drinks flowing, reading the newest romance novel letting our skin soak up the heat.
"You know the carnival's in town we should convince the guys to go" Lola smiles as we head back to the club blasting the air conditioning in my car
"A bunch of bikers...at a carnival...ya right" Just the idea of them ridding rides is hilarious to me
"We both know how convincing we can be" She winks at me we both laugh
When we get back to the club the garage is closed everything's quiet which isn't always a bad thing it was kind of nice when it comes to the guys. The guys were all patiently waiting outside Clay nowhere to be seen we've barely joined them when a squad van comes bareling in SWAT members jumping out pulling the guys off the picnic tables pushing the the ground, before I know it I'm being shoved the ground.
"Hey go easy on her!" Juice spits out at the officers who tossed me down
We all lay there on gravel the hot pavement pressing into my thies burning just a little the boys are all joking around but Lola just looks at me terrified.
"It's ok...we'll be ok" I mouth to her
About 10 minutes later the officers pulled us off the ground releasing our hands not bothering to say a word to any of us I brush the pebles that are imbeded into thies off.
"You know being handcuffed isn't as fun as I thought it would be" Lola says rubbing her wrist
"It is if you do it right" Says Tig from behind her with a creppy grin on his face
"Don't be creepy" I mumble
"To late for that" Opie laughs Tig just shrugged in agreament
"Let's get you home" Juice says coming to wrap his arm around my waist this is the first time we've really talked since yesterday
We head over to his bike he hands me my helmet before climbing on, ridding with Juice always made me feel so free it makes me realise why they love it so much.
"I'm gonna be late tonight don't wait up" He says squeezing my thies leaning back into my before I get off, getting off I just nod at him leaning down to give him a kiss
Him not being able to tell me what's going on even though I'm used to it doens't mean it doens't bother me sometimes and in the back of my mind I kind of wonder if he's going to cheat. When I make it to the door I look back he's sitting in the same spot waiting for me to get inside. Once inside I text Lola to come over to hang out until he gets home I'm not ready to be alone and I know what happened to us earlier shook her up.
