(Natasha's main Office)
As always Varun didn't pick up his phone, I feel like his phone is either forever busy or forever silent. I can't believe this guy is an actor.
....
By the time I reached Natasha's office, it was already 19:30. I can't believe I am going meet her in sometime. I haven't seen her in 7 years, dang I felt really emotional. I hopped out of my car and walked towards the building. The building was neither too big nor too small. It was a 3 storey grey color building, that was situated in a posh industrial area.
'Natasha started from the bottom and got herself here. I am so proud of her'. As I thought about our struggles I reached the reception, where a girl with light brown hair was sitting. She immediately recognized me and took me upstairs. I am guessing that's where the main office is. As we were going upstairs, I realized that the company didn't have much employees. I saw 5 or 6 here and there but that's it. It was rather quite in here, it seemed like everyone was on holiday.
I reached the top floor, as the secretary knocked on the door, a sweet voice came from inside and told us to come in. The door soon opened, and we stepped inside the office. It was a spacious white and brown themed office, with mannequins dressed up in the corner. There was a wall where there were so many designs of dresses stuck. Then my gaze shifted to the desk, where she was sitting wearing a white summer dress and a radiant smile. We looked at each other for sometime, smiles stuck to our faces, living the moment. Then we legit jumped each other, not even kidding.
I was seeing her, one of my best friends from University after 7 fvcking years, of course I was gonna jump her. We stood there hugging each other, our eyes moist, our heart happy and our faces stretched into a full blown smile. "Tashi, OMG after so fvcking long. How are you, how's life, how's everything? We haven't seen each other in so long"? I bombarded her with questions, you can't blame me, this is how I am when I am happy.
"Shradz, can't bre-ath, ne-eeed a-ir". She said while her face turned pale. Then it clicked in my brain that I was squeezing the shit out of the poor girl, so I released her. "OMG, sorry sorry, really sorry. It's just that we met after so long". I said feeling guilt and embarrassment washing over me. "Shraddhu, it's fine. The main thing is omg I missed you so much, look at you all grown up and pretty. What happened to my bushy eyebrows and crooked teeth shraddha". She said and my breath hitched in my throat, 'that's exactly what Varun said when he saw me. They are so similar to each other,they both think the same way. They are going to be so compatible with each other', I thought.
'This is the perfect plan, she is going to be the perfect fake girlfriend of Varun and maybe, just maybe in all this, they might actually fall for each other. It's going to be perfect', I thought ignoring the little pang in my heart. Thinking about my heart is stupid, it's literally nothing. This is not about m-.
"Shraddha? Shraddha!". Natasha said waving her hand in front of my face. "Are you okay? What's wrong, come have a seat. Here, have some water". She said while handing me a glass of water, just then some noises were heard from the TV that was attached to the wall behind. It was the news, not just any news. It was the news which was supposed to reveal a blurred/edited picture of Varun and Alia.
News reporter's POV
(Bolly spice head news station)
"Another twist added to the SOTY party's controversy. As Varun and his supposed partner Alia's picture was sent in to be cleaned up, we have come up to a whole new conclusion. The girl inside the picture opposite Varun, had the same stature and structure as the new debutant Alia Bhatt, but in reality it was actually not her.
As you can see the picture behind us, the girl seems to be wearing a fully black dress, but Alia was seen to be wearing a black and white dress that night. The girl in the picture seems to have open straight hair, but Alia that night was seen in a one sided braid.
This leads us to only one conclusion, the girl in the picture is definitely not Alia Bhatt. But the question that arises is that, if not Alia Bhatt then who is the girl that was caught kissing Varun Dhawan. We are Still looking into this matter, trying to find clues and evidence. My plan played out as smooth as butter, while I just watched with a smirk on my face. Now all that's left to do is; to get Natasha included and then everything is set. "Tash, I am here for some important work, can we talk"? As soon as I said this my phone rang, ISTG I'mma kill whoever is calling. I looked at the screen which flashed with Varun's name on it. Of course it's him, this guy has no chill. "I am sorry Tash, I gotta take this." I looked at Natasha with an apologetic look, exiting her office.
S- WHAT? Like why do you always call at the wrong time? Why don't you ever pick up when I call you?
V- Shraddha, whatever you are doing, just stop. I don't want her included in this. Let's just find another girl. Any other girl is fine but her. I can't have her, not her please.
S- What's wrong with her. Are you hiding something? You seem so desperate to not have her included. What's gotten into you Varun? What is it that's so important, that you can even put your career on stake?
V- Think of it as however you want, I don't care. I can't have her and that's it. Find someone else. Just not her.
S- Well, I am extremely sorry to disappoint you Sir, but I am not your fvcking secretary so stop giving me orders. I was doing this because I don't want a Friend stuck in a situation like this, but if you can't even tell a simple reason behind this then I am sorry, I can't help you.
With that I hung up on him. 'He cannot go around acting like a pretty princess, I am not his fvcking sugar daddy that will go along with whatever the fvck he says'. I seriously need to stop cursing. I opened the door to Natasha's office again, but this time not with the intention of getting her on board, but just so we could have some girl time together.
Varun's POV
(The Dhawan household)
'I am the most stupid person in this world, like how dumb can one be. If I were to be awarded with an award, it should be named 'Mr. Dumbass of the Year'. Like bitch, I just made my best friend upset, the very same best friend that was running around her whole contact list just so I could get out of this scandal. The very same best friend who probably didn't sleep the whole night, because she was planning her words so she could get Natasha on board, just so my name would be cleared. And what did I do? I went an-'
'UGH! How can I be so stupid? I am so dumb I need to do something now. I don't even care if she declines to help me anymore, I just want her back. She probably is right, Natasha is the only person that the industry and me both know well. The only person who can get away with being my fake girlfriend. There's no other choice, it needs to be her' . I need to meet shraddha first, she is probably shit angry with me.
