Shraddha's POV
(Success Party, T-series Farmhouse)

I could talk to these girls for hours and we have been doing exactly that. The party now consists of half the amount of people it had 2 hours ago. It's safe to consider this as the after party. Only the youngsters are left, all the Oldies have now gone home. Anushka and Katrina both have left due to an early morning schedule tomorrow. Now I am left with DP and Pari and they are giving me a good company. Well at least DP is. Pari is tipsy from all she had to drink.

It's 11:30 at night and the party is still in full swing.

"Alright guys, enough of the bass boosted sweaty dancing. Let's move on to something slow and groovy. Can we have all the couples on the stage please. Even if you don't have a partner find a friend and come up." The DJ screamed through the microphone, followed by all the couples squealing in excitement.

Yeah, this is the time for me to finally sit down and relax.

DP was wooed away by Ranveer, I don't know how long it will take for her obliviousness to go away. She clearly is head over heals for him.

Pari didn't want to go cause she was feeling light headed, but she was forcefully taken away by Arjun kapoor. Mind you, it was really hard for him to pull her away from me. She was clinging to me like a koala, cause she wanted to go with me. Me being me, straight up rejected her.

It was sad but at least our boy Arjun got his crush to dance with him. Arjun Kapoor, he debuted in the same movie as Pari, he has had a liking towards her since then, but our Pari is oblivious as fuck.

I have known Arjun since I was 10 years old. Him, me and Varun went to the same school. We separated when we went to University. Me and Varun going to Harvard and him going to Yale.

But destiny struck again when Varun met him in his Acting academy after university finished. I was happy that he met him, because at least Varun had someone there with him.

Thinking of Varun, I looked around to see where he was. After our intense glaring session, we tried not to look at each other again. Well, I know I didn't look, I don't know about him, cause I could feel someone burning holes in my back throughout the whole party.

Looking around my eyes stopped at two figures, who were standing at a proximity where even a hair strand won't be able to fit in. Clinging to each other and grooving to the song stood, Varun and Natasha.

Lost in each other's eyes, melted in each other's arms, in their own world, where no one but them existed. That's at least what I thought, until I saw Varun looking at me. The passion he was portraying in the dance was clear in his eyes.

He looked at me with a dark expression, something on the brink of hate, passion and Lust.

'What are you saying Shraddha, look away and never turn back' my conscience warned.
