Brendon: why not?
Ryan: that's a long explanation
Brendon: I got time
Ryan: well for starters I don't see how people can put so much faith in an invisible man in the sky if there would be a god I doubt they'd be any gender I would think more on the lines of energy rather than a figure
Brendon: how come?
Ryan: people portray god to be this specific figure the cliche being an older man white bread white robe and stuff they're humanizing this being that's supposed to be perfect but humans are imperfect so why picture this being as something that's far from perfect
Brendon: okay
Ryan: there's too much bad in the world for me to believe that there's some higher being out there religious people constantly say god has a plan and everything happens for a reason
Ryan: I can think of any reason why this all powerful being would allow war to happen, poverty, disease you know? There is NO reason that could justify someone torturing another to the point they'd want to Kill themselves there's no reason why a teenager should hate themselves so much they give themselves scars people shouldn't want to hurt themselves because it's part of some big plan
Ryan: religious is weird to me it's almost a cult which I think is ironic but it's a group of people worshiping this book that is so wrong it feels like there's more hate and I just don't.. there are people who don't accept my lifestyle because of a book written ages ago I can't believe in something that I feel is tainted
Brendon: that was... wow

Ryan: idk it was just a lot I guess? I kept rambling and I don't even know if it made sense
Brendon: it's okay
Ryan: don't tell me that you're religious and I just offended you because then I'll feel like shit
Brendon: lol you didn't I'm not religious
Ryan: okay
