I waited for the bell to ring so I could go to my next period I sat there with my head down as I felt a tap on my shoulder
"Ma'am can you please sit up right" Mrs.carmen asked
I looked up at her and rolled my eyes sitting up

"Thank you" she said walking away
I looked to the side of me and seen lay was knocked out I laughed to my self cause of how loud she was snoring
"So we have a project coming up and you all will have a partner and by partner I mean the opposite sex" my history teacher said walking to the back of the class
"So I'll either pick your partner or you can pick your partner"
"We'll pick our partners" some girl said getting up

"We'll go for it" she said keeping a smile on her face
Lay woke up out of no where and looked around
"What's we doing" she asked
"You gotta find a partner thats the opposite sex of you for a project" I said as king walked up to my desk
"You finna be ma partner" he said siting in the seat next to me getting on his phone
Y'all king really my friend I been knowing him since 1st grade he's like my long time best friend

Desean walked up to me
"Mani wanna be my partner" he asked

"When you find your partner take a seat next to them" mrs.carmen said as her heels made loud nosies when she walked to the front of the class
"Lay who's gonna be your partner" she asked as poped her head up
"Umm him" she pointed to some brown skin boy
I watched as he walked over to her desk and took a seat next to her

"Okay now you and your partner will find a topic about one of these states" she said pointing to a piece of paper
"I need facts, pictures, and also I do not want just one person to do all the work I need you both to work together as a team" she said passing out the papers she had in hand
"Now the bell should ring in any minute so write and your partners name on this paper and one of you keep it in your backpack where it will be safe" she said siting down
I wrote my name on the paper with a heart next to it I passed it to king
" put your name" I said while putting on some lip gloss
"Girl I know what I needa do" he said as I rolled my eyes
"I'll keep it "I said putting it in my backpack
"How you know I ain't wanna keep it" he asked looking at me
"Cause you don't even have a backpack" I said laughing
He smakcked his lips "imma come to your house today so we can start on that shit" he said looking at me
"Boy how you know I wanna start on it today" I said
"I'll be there around 6 " he said ignoring me as I switched on my phone checking the time
"Oh and this will be due on Monday" Mrs.Carmen said causeing me to look up at her
"I'll text you the address" I said

the bell rang I got up waiting for lay so we could go to 4 period together
"Lay and Mani" "can I talk too you two for a second" Mrs. Carmen asked
I turned around annoyed "yea" I said
"I really need you two to stop sleeping so much in class is there something going on at home" she asked getting out some slips is writing on them

"No it's just we stayed up studying last night for our math class" I lied as she gave us passes to our next class
Honestly her class will literally put you to sleep
"Okay well you ladies get to class" she said as we walked out
"She so nice just irritating at the same time" lay said as we walked down the hall
"What are you girls doing walking around your suppose to be in class" one of the staff said
"If you stop talking to us then we can get there faster" I said

I look at lay as she looked at me and we both started laughing walking up the stairs

"Okay" I said walking to the next door where our class was
I knocked on the door and waited for somebody to open it
"Late again"Jay said as we walked in I put my pass on Mrs.kay desk
"Boy shut up" I said siting down in my seat
"What's y'all excuse this time" chirs asked as I put on some lip gloss
"There is no excuse we got passes dummies" lay said putting her head down
"Okay class today we will be watching a movie" Mrs.kay said
"You may sit where or by whoever you want" she said
"Bett" Jay said rubbing his hands together siting in the seat by me

He literally won't stop until he gets a yes for something

"Yea" he said handing me his phone so I could put my number in it I grabbed it putting in any number
"Ight now bye" I said as my phone lit up indicating I got a text

Jay sat next to me and put his arm around my shoulder as youbgboy facetimed me again I declined it once again and switched my phone back off getting ready to slide it in my back pocket but it dinged

I got in the car putting my seat belt on and sat there not even making eye contact with him he started driving it wasn't even before we made it out my school park n lot before he stopped the car and looked at me

"Stop talking to me" I said putting my hand in his face getting on my phone seeing I only have 5
He slapped my hand out his face grabbed my phone putting it in his pants

I took off my seat belt reaching over digging in his pants

He started driving again this time making it out the park n lot

" Girl Close the door" he said slowing down I looked that him a for a minute then closed the door puting my seat belt back on

I rolled down my window a little cause I started to get a lil hot as my phone came on messages poped up at the top of my screen non stop
