Triple update?!

Reader POV

"(Y/N)!!!!!"

I opened my arms to the children of Hage.

At just seven now, Asta and Yuno ran towards me at full speed.

"Wow, your cape is so cool!!" Asta ducked underneath it behind me, hugging me tightly.

"It's so hard to believe that you're a vice-captain," Mother smiled at me. "I'm so proud,"

"She's proving each day that people can become anything they want to if they put their mind to it!" Asta started running in circles around my laughing form.

I glanced over at Yuno. "Well?"

He started walking towards me slowly, which shocked me as he usually attacked me with a hug.

"Hi..." he said shyly.

I placed Asta down. "Don't be a stranger, Yu. Come here."

He did, hugging me tightly.

Despite him not speaking that much, he still conveyed his longing by hugging me tightly.

Father Orsi and the other villagers held a huge feast for me.

"It's so hard to believe that years ago, you and your mother came to this village scared out of your minds," Issac said as he sat next to me. He was the father of the newborn twins and husband of Elina.

The night ended with me showing off some cool new magic that didn't require too much blood.

The children watched with fascination- especially Yuno and Asta when I created a copy of myself.

"That's so cool!!!" The two squealed.

I was now putting them to bed. Even though they weren't biologically related per se, Yuno and Asta slept together in the same bed with the other children.

"You've certainly grown up," Mother smiled as we walked to our own home nearby the church with a perfect view of the demon skull. "It feels just like yesterday that you were leaving for the Royal Captial."

I opened the door for her, only to see someone wearing a witches' hat sitting by the fireplace.

"What the-?"

"What are you doing here?" Mother's voice became very quiet, almost as if she was afraid of something.

"Clarisse Kyoska. I have come to bring Princess (y/n) back to the Witches Forest." The female stood up. She had heather-colored hair and pink eyes. "The Witch Queen expects her daughter to be back."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not who you think I am," I frowned. "I'm not-"

"You have Her Majesty's Blood Magic." The witch said and turned to my mother. "You kidnapped the child from the Witches Forest years ago."

"Is this true?" I turned to Mother, hurt coursing through me. "Have you used your memory magic...to erase my memories?"

"I had no other choice. She was going to use you to-"

"You lied to me." I felt my heart break. "Is everything else a lie? Am I even your daughter?"

Mother looked down. "You aren't, but I raised you to be."

I nodded. "Well-"

"Come, Princess (y/n)." The female witch glared at Mother. "Go upstairs to her room and open the blue chest."

I did as she instructed. As a child, Mother would warn me never to open that chest. Inside the chest was a large witches hat. It was blue.

"I already have a black witches' hat," I said.

"Just put it on," the witch said. "This is who you really are, Princess. Your real mother charged me with bringing you back. My name is Heather, by the way."

Mother grabbed my hand as I was following Heather. "(y/n)! You can't go back there! The Witch Queen- she'll kill you after she uses you!"

I couldn't face her. She lied to me my entire life. Did I even have a brother who died?

"Be quiet," Heather spat.

I needed answers.

We arrived in the Witches Forest (by the Diamond Kingdom) late at night.

"Look!" Witches everywhere were staring at me with shock. "It's the Witch Princess!"

I held onto my Blue Rose Knights cape close to me as we flew into the palace.

"Well, well, well." A woman with pink hair and teal eyes was standing in front of us. She was wearing a light green dress. There was a cage nearby and it had a much smaller girl. She looked to be about Nebra's age of 15.

"You may go now, Heather."

Heather bowed and left the palace with a serious face.

I faced my real mother. She had a sad smile on her face.

"You're probably wondering why I now just came for you," she began.

"No shit,"

"I didn't even remember I gave birth to you 17 years ago until now." She beckoned me closer. "That woman who stole you. She used to be one of the residents here."

"Why would she take me from you?" I asked.

Witch Queen shrugged. "If I knew why, I'd tell you. I didn't foresee it with my fortune-telling magic. But it seems you inherited my other attribute- blood magic. That's why I called you back here. Not only to train you to take my place one day, but to protect the other witches."

"And to keep you here forever."

Shino POV

I skipped around the courtyard at least two hundred times. "Where is she?"

(y/n) had gone on her vacation to Hage three nights ago.

She should've been back yesterday.

"If you keep skipping around, you'll be so tired tomorrow," Skyrin warned me as she looked up from her drawing of clouds.

"I know, but...where is she?"

Before Skyrin could answer, a woman with (h/c) hair and green eyes ran into the courtyard, panting. "Is this the Blue Rose Knights?"

"Yes," Skyrin looked at her in confusion. "Who are you?"

"I am (y/n)'s adopted mother. I need your help- she's been taken back to the Witches Forest!"

Skyrin and I looked at each other and brought her to Captain Charlotte's office and explained the situation.

"So you are saying that 17 years ago, you rescued her from her real mother because she inherited the Witch Queen's blood magic?" Captain Charlotte looked perplexed. "And you figure that she is being kept against her will in the Witches Forest?"

Her adopted mother nodded. "I know it wasn't my business taking the poor girl, but her mother is going to abuse her for her magic! I couldn't just stand by and let it happen!"

"But her brother and father! Were they even related?!" I asked.

Her adopted mother nodded. "Yes. Her father had an affair with the Witch Queen years ago. She first gave birth to a son- which she cast out as a failure since he didn't inherit her blood magic. He inherited his father's fire magic."

"Who is her brother? Is he even dead?" Skyrin asked.

"He's not dead, but his name is Silas. Her father and brother both left. I had to change her memories that her father wasn't a good man and that her brother died. It was the only way to protect her."

"Wait, Silas?" My eyes widened. "There's a guy named Silas in the Silver Eagles squad. I talked to him once or twice, but he's usually gone on missions."

"So perhaps it's Silas Kyoska," Clarisse suggested.

"I must discuss this with Julius Novochrono," Captain Charlotte said. "I cannot take matters into my own hands since this is dealing with another nation. But rest assured, we will get her back. Even if it takes us forever."

"We will do everything we can to get her back," Skyrin and I swore. "We love her and need her here. She belongs with us as our Vice-Captain, not the Princess of the Witches Forest."

Reader POV

I was placed in a cage with a girl named Vanessa. She was my supposed sister with threads of fate magic.

"What is it like out in the world?" Vanessa asked me with big wide eyes. "I've never been outside of the Witches Forest!"

I pat the space on the bed next to me and my sister sat down. "Well, it's beautiful. There's this star, Polaris. It's absolutely beautiful."

"I've only seen the stars a couple of times," Vanessa listen to me with wonder in her eyes as I described everything and explained what a magic knight was.

Her threads made birds were flying around.

I felt enormous pity for the girl. She's had no other human interaction than me and the Witch Queen and maybe some servants.

Heather would come and give us food and look at me with an apology. I was forced out of my Blue Rose Knights uniform into a light blue dress with silver trimmings on the sleeves and ends of the skirt.

No matter how many times I had pricked my finger to use blood magic and get the hell out, the queen would quickly trap me again.

"Wow...I never realized how much was out there..." she yawned, feeling sleepy.

I moved aside and tucked her in. She was about 14 or 15.. "Sleep well, little sister."

I glared from inside the cage at the Witch Queen who was talking to one of her confidants.

She felt my (e/c) eyes on her. "You won't escape," she said. "Don't try."

"What mother does this to her own child?" I challenged.

"Your time around men has certainly made you disrespectful," she said with a bored tone. "Especially that silver-haired male. What was his name again? Nozel Silva. Shame that he is your soulmate."

"What does he have to do with the fact that you are holding your two daughters in a cage, damn it! Vanessa told me how you used to be loving and the best mother until your obsession with her magic turned you! She resents you now!"

Witch Queen came over and glared at me. "What would you know? You were kidnapped from me when you were a week old! A week old, (y/n)! If your adopted mother Clarisse hadn't done that, you would've grown up to be a wonderful older sister for Vanessa."

She looked heartbroken. "Do you honestly think I want to trap you two in the cage? It's to protect you- and that magic. Both of you carry extremely rare magic that hasn't been seen in centuries- especially you, (y/n). I didn't see Clarisse kidnapping you. I only foresaw you and your sister running around the castle making dolls out of magic threads and blood magic."

"I'll still be her sister," I said. "But trapping us will make us resent you, Mother."

"I have no choice. No one can break that cage unless they had extremely powerful magic. To be specific, dark magic. And there is only one with that power."

"Please don't do this," I pleaded. "We don't want to be trapped."

Since Witch Queen had hugged me yesterday, I was able to hear her heartbeat. It only took one touch for me to know everything about someone- their feelings, heartbeat, and anything physical and emotional.

I knew she didn't want to do this since her heart was aching.

"Your magic is still imperfect. You both will not be allowed to leave the cage until your magic is perfect." She reached through the cage and placed a hand on my head. "But your magic is almost close to perfection, I'll give you that."

Nozel POV

"(y/n) indeed is in the Witches Forest," Julius said as Captain Charlotte and her two members Skyrin and Shino finished their pleads to go rescue her.

"How can we get her out?" I asked.

"I know you want her back," Julius said. "But we must plan this carefully. We do not want to create tensions between the Clover Kingdom and Witches Forest. They are powerful- especially her mother, the Witch Quen."

Yami Sukehiro shook Dorthy. "You're from the Witches Forest. How can we get in and out?"

Dorthy was awake. "I don't know how to explain it. It's almost impossible. When I left, I knew that she was watching. Much like the Heart Queen, the Witch Queen's mana inhabits every aspect of the Witches Forest. How Clarisse even got her daughter out without being killed is amazing."

"We must rescue her!" I shouted, slamming my hands down on the table where the other captains and I were seated.

"What's it to you, rival?" Fuegeleon frowned. "Last I checked, you disliked her."

I looked down with a shaking form. "She's my soulmate!"

"Oh shit." Dorthy looked uneasy. "Well, if that's the case, then the Witch Queen will especially not let you near her daughters. She dislikes men for obvious reasons and not one male is allowed to enter the forest- unless they have a death wish."

"I don't care! We need to bring her back!" Shino and I shouted at the same time.

I aimed a glare at him. I had no idea if he liked my soulmate in that way, but I didn't want any competition when it comes to her.

"I agree," Julius said with a perplexed look on his face. "Very well. We will send Yami Sukehiro since his magic can break that cage. Dorthy Unsworth since she knows the territory, and Nozel Silva. If you aren't back within two days, we will send backup."

I left Nebra in charge of the squad, Dorthy left Kirsch Vermillion in charge, and Yami just shrugged and went with us.

"Let's go get that soulmate of yours," Yami let out a puff of smoke out into the air.

Dorthy and I nodded. "Let's go."

As we flew on my silver eagle, Dorthy kept asking me questions.

"I had no idea soulmates could exist! I thought it was a work of fiction,"

"I figured the same until I read about it in a book somewhere."

"Which book was it?" Yami asked with a bored tone.

I glared at the foreigner. "A book from the Witches Forest. Dorthy brought it back when she escaped the Witches Forest three years ago."

"Oh! I know what book you are talking about! Witch Lore." She smiled. "Well, I guess it's better than someone like Yami as (y/n)'s soulmate- no offense."

Yami shrugged. "I don't want a soulmate either."

"Only witches with blood or fate magic can see this thread of fate," Dorthy said with a serious glance. "I've never seen a thread of fate before. I bet (y/n) can see everyone's destined soulmate."

I listened as Dorthy explained the whole soulmate thing. There was little known about it since there were only two blood magic users know to exist: (y/n) and the Witch Queen.

Don't worry, (y/n). We're coming to get you and rescue you from that hell.
