"Hold on tight."
Renjun gasped and clutched his arms around Donghyuck's shoulders. The male jumped off from the terrace in a very high jump that Renjun could swore he could see the whole city from above. The male chuckled as he turned around, soon spotting on the lake not far from their home.
The chinese still had his eyes closed, and soon breathed out when he felt Donghyuck land smoothly on a surface. He didn't know he hold his breath for too long.
"You can open your eyes now."
Renjun did as told, opening them slowly and soon saw the scenery in front of him. He let his hands loose around Donghyuck's shoulder and let his bare feet touch the cold ground as he approached the lake with sparkling eyes.
Donghyuck could swore he felt his heart beat fast at his ethereal face- but who is he kidding? he has no heartbeat.
"It's beautiful." Renjun says, eyes not looking away from the lake that reflects the moonlight.
"Do you like it?" Donghyuck asks, eyes at Renjun but his ears perked up at the rustling of the leaves which is quite confusing since there isn't any wind. Still eyes on the lake, Renjun nodded his head and observed the calm waters.
Donghyuck clicked his tongue as he looked around the area, sensing someone near them and grab ahold of Renjun's shoulder, pulling the small male closer.
Snother rustling of leaves can be heard and this time, Donghyuck saw the figure and rolled his eyes. He stood on one foot and crossed his arms "You're too noisy, Jaemin."
A snicker can be heard that diverted Renjun's attention from the lake. "I tried, Hyuck." The male says and dropped down from a tree "Oh, you're the entertainer?"
Renjun raised his eyebrows and tilted his head, and that probably made the two turned on at the sight. But Donghyuck kept his composture and stepped on Jaemin's foot to snap back to his senses.
The male grabbed on his foot as he hissed in slight pain. "That fucking hurts, Lee Donghyuck."
"I know."
"Didn't father tell us not to bring him out of the house?"
All three of them were startled at the sudden voice. Renjun was looking around but the two had their eyes up to the tree, watching their younger brother play with a pocket knife. His other leg is dangling from the branches of the tree while his back is leaning on the trunk, eyes red as he swung the pocket knife.
Yup, Donghyuck fucked up "Oh. He did,"
"Why did you bring him here?" The male on the tree says, keeping the knife on his pocket as he leaned forward, now having his two legs dangling on the tree branch as he looked at the two people below him.
"Figured he might wanna see this." Donghyuck shrugs, attention averting to Renjun who's currently at the lake side, squatting while admiring his reflection on the water. "Which he looks like he does."
Jaemin massages his temples. "Dad wants us to go back home. He got some news," The blonde haired male says, "And Jisung, control yourself when you're around that kid. He's got this irresistable scent."
Jisung rolls his eyes as he watched Jaemin turn into a bat and flew away from the place. The pink haired male jumped off from the tree and also walked away, leaving Donghyuck and Renjun behind. The brunette sighed, making his way to Renjun and grabbed him by him arms, pulling him up.
"C'mon, let's go." Donghyuck says wrapping Renjun's arms around his neck as he piggy backed the smaller.
"Hold tight once again." Was the last thing Donghyuck said before jumping up, earning another gasp from Renjun.

"Where's the boy?" The man asked once Donghyuck came entering the room.
The male stepped aside, letting Renjun in but the human stopped breathing when he saw seven other men inside the room. He had the urge to hide at Donghyuck's back which he did and grabbed onto the hem of his shirt.
"He seems to be attached to hyuck." the man chuckled earning pouts and sulks from his other sons, "I also forgot you are labelled as the Jung's property."
The Jung family isn't really that blood related. Sure they are known in Neo City because of the man, Jung Jaehyun, being a millionaire. He is known for having seven sons, one biological son and the others are adopted.
His biological son that was named with Taeyong's, his supposed to be husband that ran away, last name. Mark Lee, the boy where he saw on this mansion's doorstep for an unknown reason. It was the same time when he heard how Taeyong ran away- he was disappointed at the news but soon got away with it since it's only Mark left that reminded Jung Jaehyun of Taeyong. And because of his work, he doesn't see his son so often and a thought came on his mind, why not adopt a child for Mark?
Na Jaemin, the one he adopted. He purposely adopted a vampire, knowing how Mark is one too. The others were not adopted, they were found on the streets with nowhere to live and Jaehyun may or may not have a soft spot for homeless vampires.
And that's how the Jung family lived- treating eachother like a family even if they are not blood related.
Renjun clutched onto Donghyuck's shirt as he snuggled his face on the boy's back, afraid to look at the other people around him.
The man could only chuckle tearing his attention away from the human "Oh and the reason why I called you here is because,"
The man locked his suitcase that was sitting on the floor before standing up. "I have to move somewhere. I'll be back, but that'll be a long time." He fixed his suit as he looked at a maid, as if saying something.
The maid hesitated to move as he felt pairs of eyes on her but soon placed papers on the coffee table.
Jaehyun smiles as he eyes his sons. "Neo Tech University."
"Wait dad are you serious?" Jeno was the first one to speak, couldn't help but explode in happiness.
"Oh my gosh finally!" Chenle yelled with his signature dolphin voice.
"Finally out of this place." Jaemin comments, leaning back on the sofa.
Jaehyun cleared his throat, resulting them to be quiet. "Yes, Jeno, I'm serious. and Chenle please don't yell, it's hurting my eardrums. And from what I know, school starts the day after tomorrow."
The rest cheered in happiness but Renjun just peaked at them from Donghyuck's back.
"I have to go." The man checks his watch and took his suitcase, looking at Renjun's direction.
Donghyuck moved away, exposing Renjun's face but the chinese was intimidated at the man's gaze. "As for you, Huang Renjun."
The six people now averted their attention to their father and Renjun's scared state "Do your work well. You'll be joining them also."
Renjun just nodded, hands clutching tighter at Donghyuck's shirt that the male could swore his shirt will rip anytime soon. But wait-
His work?
The man turned around and was greeted by Mark's hug. "Stay safe, dad."
Jaehyun nodded and kissed his son's forehead before making his way out of the room.
"Since when did father do that kind of things?" Jisung asked to no one in particular but received a shrug ftom Chenle and Jaemin.
The pink haired male looked at Donghyuck and Renjun's direction, eyes turning red at the sight of Renjun having his neck exposed.
"I'm gonna taste that first."
