A/N 2 - This is a universe where JD isn't a psychopath or a murderer.
You were a Heather, and a miserable one at that. Today had been nothing new, being hit on by guys you had no interest in, having to be the perfect girl everyone expected you to be.
So, at the end of each day, you'd been dropping by the music room. Usually, you'd just sing whatever came to mind at the time, as a sort of, emotional release, but recently, you'd met a boy who made you feel, incredible. He was perfect, just your type, funny, intelligent and cool. He seemed way more into the newest Heather though, Veronica.
His name was Jason Dean, or JD for short.
You sat alone, with your guitar, and sang the song you'd been working on, unaware a certain boy was stood in the doorway listening. He hoped it was him, that you were singing about.
He coughed, trying to gain your attention once you'd finished the song.
"I-Uhm, Hey JD." You smiled awkwardly at him.
"Greetings and salutations, Y/N." He greeted you as he always did.
"Did you hear any of that?" You questioned, worried.
"Sure did." He smirked at you.
"What'd you think..?" You asked nervously.
"It was poetic, like Bach." He responded, smiling genuinely at you.
"Really?" You didn't quite believe him.
"Really," He reassured you, "Now, who was it about?"
"Ah, well, that's the problem.." You muttered.
"What?" He inquired, concerned.
"I'm afraid if I tell him, it'll ruin our friendship, and I can't bare to lose him, he means the world to me." You explained.
"Huh, lucky guy. You see, I'm in the same boat really." He laughed a little.
"Oh, I guess we're both on the Titanic, so to speak, huh?" You joked, smiling.
"Yeah, s'pose so. How about, on three, we both say their names?" He suggested.
"Yeah, okay." You agreed, you now had hope it was you.
He counted,
"1.."
"2.."
"3!"
"Y/N!" He shouted.
"JD!" You shouted at the same time.
"W-Wait, you like me?" You asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, I do, I take it you like me too?" He winked at you.
"Yeah." You responded, blushing a little.
He kissed you passionately, before pulling away, grinning at you.
"Our love is God, let's go get a slushy." He pulled you up, and the two of you walked, hand in hand, to the Snappy Snack Shack.
