Jeongguk was kicking off his shoes and was about to run to his room where Taehyung was waiting for him when his phone started buzzing. He thought it could wait but his mind got the best of him and checked it anyways, seeing it was Yoongi.
Yoongi never calls him.
Stopping in his tracks, Jeongguk answered the phone only to be met with silence.
And then a sniffle.
And then a sob.
"Hyung? Are you alright? What's going on?" he worried. Why was he crying? Yoongi never cries. It doesn't make sense.
"Jeongguk, can you please come here?" he finally got out, Jeongguk could tell he was trying to stop himself from choking on tears.
Before the younger could even think about going to the bedroom, he ran back to the door, slipped on his shoes, and bolted.
Yoongi doesn't cry.
Yoongi never cries.
Why could Yoongi be crying?
The only thing the boy could think of was the day. It's Saturday, Jeongguk thought, and Saturday is the day where Yoongi was suppose to meet Jimin.
He ran faster.
