Alexia POV
It’s been two days since the accident on the expedition. Due to the mission’s failure, the military order that Eren and Sebastian be turned over to the government. That will be taking place in three days from now. So, we have three days to think about something before they take Eren and Sebastian
Right now, I just woke. It was 5 o’clock in the morning. I got up, went outside, and did my morning routine, then went back inside and took a warm shower. It was still early when I finished taking a shower because everyone usually wakes up at 7 o’clock for training. I wake up at 5 and take an hour doing my morning routine outside, then after shower I finish at 6:30 sharp. I changed into my uniform before going to the mess hall and grabbed a cup of black tea. I then grabbed two trays of food.
‘Why two?’
Well, Eren and Sebastian are still at the infirmary. I have been bringing them food these past 2 days. I heard that they were getting released today. I only have two trays of food because I usually just drink a cup of black tea in the morning and eat when it's lunchtime.
I finally made it to the first room. It was Sebastian’s room. I knocked twice.
“Who?” I heard Sebastian’s voice asked. He’s usually the first one awake, so that’s why I come here first.
“Alex” I replied. I then heard movement from the other side, and the door swung open. I saw Sebastian standing on the other side.
“Good morning, Seb” I greeted.
“Good morning, Sis” He said, taking one of the trays of food from me and putting it on the small stand next to his medical bed.
“How are you feeling?” I asked.
“Better” He replied, sitting back down on the bed. I nodded. I then helped him put the tray of food in front of him.
“Thanks, Sis” He said. I nodded.
“No problem” I said. He then began eating.
I stayed there only for a few more minutes before leaving to take the other tray of food to Eren’s room. I didn't bother to knock because I know he was not awake. I walked inside but locked the door right after.
‘Why?’
Well, I made a mistake last time and didn’t lock it. I almost got caught kissing this stupid brat because of it. I was lucky that I pulled away when I did.
Anyway, I walked inside, put the tray of food on the table next to the bed before then slid the curtains to let light in. I heard a groan from the bed and turned around to see Eren waking up.
“Good morning, brat” I said, grabbing the tray of food and putting it in front of him.
“Huh? Oh, good morning, Alex” He said, smiling. Just then, his smile turned into a frown. I sighed. I hate seeing Eren act like this. He’s been acting like this since we came back from the expedition.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, but I didn’t get a reply back. I sighed before sitting on the bed and grabbed his face. I then forced him to look at me.
“You’re going to tell me what’s been troubling you? I know it’s something big. I could see it in your eyes, brat. What is it?” I asked.
He didn’t say anything. He then moved his knees close to his chest.
“Eren… ” I began, but he finally spoke.
“It’s my fault they're dead” Eren said. I raised an eyebrow.
“I do not understand?” I asked.
“Levi’s Squad” Eren clarified. I could see the hurt on his eyes when he said that.
“It’s my fault they’re dead” He said again. I sighed.
“You didn’t kill them, Eren. The female titan was the one that killed them. So, stop blaming yourself for something that you didn’t do, brat” I said. He shook his head.
“I know, but I made the wrong choice. I had the power to do something back then. I could’ve transformed and stopped her, but instead, I just watched helplessly as they all died right in front of my eyes. It’s my fault they’re dead. I could’ve saved them, but I didn’t. I didn’t save them, just like I didn’t save my Mom who died in front of my eyes” He said, crying.
“Eren, what happened to your Mother?” I asked. I saw Eren look at me before silently wiping some of his tears away.
“It was during the first attack from the Colossal Titan and Armored Titan” He started. I took his hand with mine to give him some comfort as he talked about this. I could tell by the sound of his voice that this was a really sensitive topic.
“When the Colossal kicked the wall. Some of the boulders crashed into houses. Mine was one of them. Mikasa and I… We-We ran towards our house, but we found my Mom trapped underneath the rubble. We tried to lift the wood, but it was too heavy. My Mom told us that her legs were crushed” He said. I suddenly felt Eren trembling.
“Just then, we saw a titan coming near us. We were both refusing to leave. Then a Garrison soldier came. He said that he would take on the titan, but he got scared and… and… he took us and ran in the opposite direction. I watched the titan pull my Mother from the rubble and… and…” Eren explained, but couldn’t finish the last sentence as more tears came down his face.
“I was so close! I could’ve saved them. I just sat idly by watching them all get killed! Damn it!” He yelled, slamming his fist into the bedsheets as he practically began sobbing.
“I’m sorry, Eren. I didn’t mean to bring up troubling memories” I said, caressing his cheek. I then pulled him into a gentle hug before feeling him clutch the fabric of my shirt. I don’t know how long we were like that, but it must have been long. He had finally calmed down.
“Are you feeling better?” I asked. He nodded. I then pushed the food closer to him.
“Eat” I ordered. He nodded, grabbing the bread. He then stopped then looked at me. He then kissed me. I kissed him back. I felt his hands snake around my small body. I moaned. He finally stopped.
“I love you, Alex” He said.
“Tsk, I love you too, brat” I said.
*Time Skip*
I don’t know what time it was, but it was already late. We were training outside in hand to hand combat while using the wooden knives. I was training with Reiner. He attacked me, but I quickly took the knife from his hand and elbowed him in the chest. Reiner grunted as he skidded across the floor on his back.
“I can’t believe that you still keep beating my ass every signal time, Alex” Reiner said. I rolled my eyes while clicking my tongue in annoyment.
“You’re just way too weak” I said. He chuckled. He got up. I threw the knife back at him, and he grabbed it before getting up and charging once again. I saw him slashed at my face, but I dodged it at the last second before tripping him. He fell to the ground while I sighed, looking at the wooden knife in my hand once again.
“How? Damn it! Ouch! That hurt!” Reiner yelled.
“Tsk. Like I said. You’re weak” I said. I looked around but didn’t see Eren or Sebastian. I sighed. I was really hoping for Sebastian to be here.
“Cadet Suzuki” I heard someone call me. I lifted my head in surprise when I heard that voice. It was my brother, Levi.
“Y-Yes, Sir?” I asked.
“I want you to fight me” He ordered. I heard everyone gasped.
“Wait! What?” I asked.
“Fight me” He ordered. He then attacked me. I barely had enough time to dodge his first attack. He kept attacking me while I kept dodging his attacks. I then felt myself getting swept off my feet.
“Is that all you got?” He asked. I growled.
‘Fuck this’ I thought. I quickly got up then punched him in the face. He stumbled backward, but I didn’t allow him to recover. I swept him off his feet.
“No” I said, breathing hard.
“This is” I added. I then was about to leave, but he then kicked me, and I fell down.
“That was impressive, but you should remember to never give your back to your opponent, Cadet. It could one day cost your life” Levi said. I nodded.
“Thank you, Sir. I will keep that in mind” I said. He then walked towards and helped me get up.

It was finally lunchtime. I wasn’t really that hungry. I sighed while taking a sip of my black tea.
“Are you okay, Alex?” I heard someone ask. I looked up, meeting Sebastian's worried face. I sighed once again.
“I’m fine” I said, rubbing my face. I was not okay. I didn’t know what to do anymore. I sighed again before looking around the room, seeing everyone doing their own thing.
I saw Lizzy and Sophia talking with Mikasa, Armin, Sasha, Connie, Jean, and Eren. I was just sitting down with Sebastian, drinking a cup of black tea. I didn’t care much about talking with no one, that’s why I was sitting far away from everyone and only with Sebastian.
Just then, I saw the door open. I saw Reiner come in with Bertholdt behind him. I then saw Reiner look around until his eyes landed on Sebastian and I. I saw him take a deep breath before walking towards us both. I raised an eyebrow as he walked right towards me.
“Ye... “I began, but I couldn’t finish my sentence.
I then felt him pull me up, and he pressed his lips against my own. I felt my eyes wide. I also heard multiple gasps from both the boys and girls.
“Reiner! Get off Alex!” I heard a familiar voice yell.
I finally snapped out of my shocked stage and quickly pushed Reiner away. I had moved away really quickly, making me lose my balance, but before I could have fallen on the floor, a pair of arms caught me. I turned around and saw Sebastian behind me.
“Are you okay, Alex?” Sebastian asked. I nodded.
I then watched Eren, who was the one to yell, march towards Reiner with fury all over his face. That’s when he grabbed Reiner by the collar of his neck.
“How dare you? Who the hell are you to kiss Alex?” Eren yelled.
“What, Jaeger? Are you jealous?” Reiner asked. I saw Eren growled.
“Jealous? For your information, Alex and I…” Eren began, but then a punch to the face stopped him from finishing that last sentence. I also saw that Reiner got punched too.
‘Who did that?’ I thought.
I turned my head to the person who punched Eren and Reiner. I felt my eyes wide when I saw the person that punched them.
“What are you two brats think you’re doing?”
‘Aniki’
I looked around and saw everyone looking at the scene in front of us with a shocked expression. I looked at Levi and saw him looking around until his eyes landed on me. He then turned to Eren and Reiner.
“You two! To my office! Now!” Levi ordered. He then left the mess hall with Eren and Reiner right behind him.
“What… What just happened?” Lizzy asked.
‘I wish I knew, Lizzy. I wish I knew’ I thought.
I don't know what just happened. I didn’t know why my brother was so mad about this. I could seriously feel the dark aura around his body and the room when he punched Eren and Reiner, but why.

I don’t know what time it is, but it was late. It was night, and I couldn’t sleep.
What happened today just keeps repeating itself in my head.
I was sitting down on my bed while the other girls in the room slept peacefully. I sighed before getting up and leaving. I don’t know how long I was walking, but it must have been long. I ended up coming to the basement where Eren and Sebastian stay at.
‘What am I doing?’ I thought. I sighed before knocking twice on Eren’s door. I didn’t get a reply right away, so I knocked again. I heard footsteps on the other side before the door opened.
“Alex!?” Eren asked. I could see that he was shocked to see me. I sighed with a small blush on my face.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“I couldn’t sleep. C-Could I… Could I stay here tonight?” I asked. I was really embarrassed to ask him, but I really couldn’t sleep.
“If you don’t want to, I could just…” I began, but he cut me off short.
“You could. It’s okay. Come in” He said. I nodded. I walked inside. I didn’t even wait for him to say anything and flop into the bed, making sure that I left enough room for him to join me. I felt the bed sink, so I opened my eyes to see Eren’s green steel eyes.
“What did Levi tell you both?” I asked. I was really curious about what my brother told them. I saw Eren sighed.
“He got us both in trouble. He was madder at Reiner for kissing you than me for starting a fight with Reiner. He punished us both with cleaning chores” Eren explained. I nodded.
“How do you feel? You know… About Reiner?” I asked. I heard him growled.
“I’m mad at him for kissing you. I don’t know, but when I saw him kiss you… the blood in my veins just started to boil. I was so mad that I almost lost it” He said. I sighed.
“I know you were mad, but that's no excuse for you to almost blow our secret in front of everyone” I said. He sighed.
“I know. I know. I’m sorry. I was just so mad” He said.
“It’s okay. I forgive you, but please try to calm down” I said.
“I will try” He said, kissing my forehead. He then wrapped his arms around my small body, bringing me closer to his body. I let out a sigh of relaxation. I don’t know why I felt so relaxed in this boy’s arm, but I do. I turned my head back to look at Eren straight in the eyes.
“You know…” I began touching his cheek with my hand.
“Your green steel eyes were the first thing I noticed about you that was cute” I said. I saw him smile.
“Really?” He asked. I nodded. He then grabbed a small portion of my hair with his right arm before laying a soft tender kiss on my head.
“I always thought that your silky black hair was the prettiest thing about you”He said. I chuckled. He then raised my head up and placed a soft kiss on my own lips. I immediately kissed him back.
“I love you, Alex. I always have and will always love you” Eren said. I smiled.
“I love you too, brat” I said. He chuckled. We then cuddle in each other’s arms for the rest of the night.
