"You're lucky I have no life" I said getting into Mike's car secretly glad he came
"You would have came either way Nicky" He rolled his eyes at me like what he said was extremely obvious and actually true. I sighed knowing he was right and let my chauffeur take me to the destination gladly knowing that Dawn will be there
"I deny all further statements about my reasoning for coming with you."
"You need to stop turning into a mini lawyer when you get defensive Nick." I totally want to be a lawyer when I grow up and be able to successfully defend all my clients when I have my own law firm. Sadly people don't really like lawyers that much and there are so many dumb lawyer jokes out there that I could spend my whole life listening to, I simply just don't tell people about my vindication to be an attorney
"I don't do that"
"You do it way more than you'd think. Remember that time you argued me and Dawn out of getting a detention in eighth grade for about an hour till the principal gave up"
"After what you guys did I shouldn't have wasted my precious time saving you from your seventh detention that year. I only did it because it was getting to christmas and you guys would have had to owe me super cool presents and I'd get you guys squat"
"You still did get us those watches"
"I didn't think you would have got me anything if I didn't. Detention free card or not"
"Of course I would have. I owed you way too much that year. I should have gotten you that TV you wanted"
"But instead you got me a coffee mug"
"It says Mike's #1 Bestie on it. You probably treasure it everyday"
"I lost it the week after"
"TREACHERY!!!" Mike unnecessarily yelled and almost crashed the car into a tree. Again
"What the hell Mike! You almost killed me again!"
"Sorr.."
"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of your home if I decide to tell your mother"
"No! She'll absolutely kill me!"
"I shall state the items that I will receive by the ending of this week if said person wishes to keep this a secret. An actual christmas present, it must be more than 5 dollars Michael; five bags of chips, all of which of various flavors and textures; and any said homework assignments I forget to do in the next two weeks. Do you agree to requirements of consolation?"
"This is the reason why people don't like lawyers"
"I had asked you a question. Had you not heard correctly me and request me to repeat the previous terms of agreement?"
"No I agree" Mike grumbled "I seriously need a new best friend"
"As if you'd find anyone as awesome as me. Also I basically own you. You are my property Michael'"
"That sounds extremely creepy. I feel like you might rape me later on or something"
"And where would I rape you. Your house, your car, or at our public school. These pretty much the only places we hang out."
"Most likely in my car. This car has crazy sex powers" How come Dawn and I haven't done anything naughty in here yet? I mentally ask myself
"You know we've been sitting in your driveway for about half an hour right?"
"You must have used a glue spell on me with your devious witch powers"
'I'm going to ignore that and head into your house" I left the car and noticed that the rain was pounding even harder than before, which was almost blindingly strong. I ran into the unlocked house and noticed that I was soaked and was dripping wet. Mike didn't look much better
"I'm glad you boys finally decided to come out of that car. I was about to send Dawn out there see why you guys remained dormant out there for almost half an hour" she asked as if she suspected something going on in the car that she did not approve of
"Mike and I were just talking in there" I said nonchalantly to her, but the look of suspicion on her face never wavered
"Fine" she finally said. For some reason I felt uneasy about the look she just gave us. She is making me feel guilty and I don't why. Usually she is always kind and warm to me.The look of distrust on her face totally threw me off. I am almost scared she figured out my secret. What if she found out about my creepy obsession with Dawn?!
Thats enough thinking for you mister my mind told me and I completely agree. I disappeared upstairs with Mike, who is obviously oblivious to the whole situation since he had not let on the slightest clue that he knows something is up with his mother. It is hard being the only bright one between the two, even though my grades don't show it. I decided to voice my thoughts to Mike once we reached his room.
"Why do you think you mom is acting so suspicious all of a sudden?"
"She's always like that"
"Yeah but this time it felt like she didn't trust me"
"Oh. That's because she saw us sleeping together last night when she came to check on us" Mike said nonchalantly like it didn't bother him
"What?!" I whisper-screamed at him
"No need to worry. I explained to her it was only to help me sleep and that we are the most straight things to walk on two legs"
"You might be" I muttered
"What?"
"Nothing. So why do you think she still gave us her death glare?"
"I don't know. You know how my mom is. She's psychotic, but can cook one hell of a meal"
"Speaking of which, I'm starving! When is the food going to be ready"
"I just finished making it now" Mike's mother said from the other side of the door making me jump into Mike's arms "And Mike, since you think I'm insane you must not mind washing all of the dishes for the rest of the week"
"Ugh! You got me in trouble" Mike made the world's cutest puppy dog face and I felt compelled to kiss his nose "What was that for?"'
"You being my personal dog from now on. Go fetch me the newspaper pet!"
"You must be crazier than my mom."
"I heard that Michael! I hope you enjoy washing the dishes for the next month" Mike's mom yelled from below us
"I swear that woman has some freak hearing super power"
"I doubt that. She never caught you watching those naughty videos at night" Mike blushed at that. I once caught him red handed watching very loud videos on his laptop in the midst of the night when we were in our first year of high school.
"You still remember that?" Mike asked sheepishly
"Like it was yesterday. The loud moaning , the swift hand movements. I always wondered why your right arm was a little more toned than the left"
"Please stop talking before someone over hears us" Mike's face reminded me so much of a tomato right now, bright red and super cute. Is it weird that I think tomatoes are cute?
"You're absolutely adorable. I claim you as my puppy forever. I'm not going to be cleaning up after though. After your mother's stories of those horrid diaper changes I never want to know what comes out of that arse of yours"
"My parents told you baby stories about me?"
"They took out the scrapbook and went in extreme detail. I even got a copy of a photo of you and Dawn taking a bath together. It's so freakin adorable. It's been my lock screen for months"
"I've been wondering why that picture looks so familiar. I am going to burn that scrapbook one of these days. How my parents only managed to take mortifying pictures of me still never fails to amaze me"
"It would amaze me if you would put me down. You've been carrying me for the past ten minutes. I was waiting to see if you'd notice"
"Sorry. You’re so light I didn't even notice" Mike dropped me on the bed without caring to check if I didn't break my back on the fall or anything. He is so rude
"I weigh as much as a cow. You sir need to stop going to the gym with Dawn so often. You're going to end up like those freakishly buff body builders that don't know their limits and end up in the hospital one of these days"
"Nah. The ladies love muscle. And you really need to stop thinking that you overweight. You are perfectly fine just the way you are"
"Nope, I'm fat. Now lets go eat some of ya mama's food before I starve to death" Mike sighed loudly but obeyed my request "Now would be an appropriate time to carry me"
"If I do I'm throwing you down the stairs"
"Never mind then. Your mother would be furious if I stained her floors with my blood. You know how much she hates blood on the carpet"
"True"
We raced down the stairs into the kitchen and casually sat down and took part in the meal
"So Dawn? How was your day?" Wow that was lame. I can't believe those words came out of my mouth
"It was fine" Dawn shot me a curious look, but quickly returned his eyes back to his food. God I want him so badly! I don't know if I'll be able to control myself till tomorrow. I have to get out of this house
The light suddenly shut off and I was surrounded in pitch black. Great! Just what I need, a fucking black out。

Sorry it took me forever to update. School is overbearing and I have the attention spand of a squirrel. It's getting impossible to update, but I'll manage somehow.
