(AN: So this turned out to be a lot longer so I had to split it into two parts)
(Saturday)
I was siting in the airport with Jaehyun. I was leaning my head on his shoulder, it was early around 1 am. I had only finished practice two hours ago. I stifled a yawn behind my hand. Our luggage was sitting in front of us, we had already checked in our other bags. We'll be gone for about two weeks.
"What's your family like?"
"Crazy I'm considered normal."
"Really?"
"Mmhmm also they will be drinking but I'll probably hide away."
"You won't even talk to them?"
"No like I'll talk for a bit, introduce you and get a drink but I know they will ask questions."
"Ah like what?"
"How long have we been dating, what you do for a living, things like that."
"Ah were will you hide?"
"With my baby cousin"
"I'll join you then."
"If you want to."
We sat in silence till
"What about your friends?"
"Hmm I don't know I haven't talked to most of them in years."
"Well I guess I'll find out then."
I nod my head. The flight attendants announce that boarding is now starting. We both stand up, grab our bags and make our way to the gate. It doesn't take us long to get on the plane. Getting to our seats as well as storing our suitcases away we sit down. The plane isn't overly packed and luckily enough there are no fans on the plane as well as in the airport but I think that's because of the time we're leaving at. I got the window seat and Jaehyun was beside me. Waiting for the plane to take off. Feeling the plane start to move as well as seeing the flight attendants do the safety announcements did I let myself relax into the seat. Sometime during the flight Jaehyun wrapped his arm around shoulders, I rested my head against him. We both ended up falling asleep only waking up for food. Some how we ended up sharing a pair of headphones and were listening to my music. After 10+ hours we finally landed in Ireland. Getting off we both stretched, gathering the bags we had we headed to bagged claim. It doesn't take us long to get our bags. I was out of immigration quicker than Jaehyun. Heading into the arrival lounge I keep an eye out for my dad and Maria. Jaehyun was pushing the trolley with our luggage.
"Ailish!"
Following the voices I see them. I walk over to them with Jaehyun following me. I'm pulled into two hugs
"Is this Jaehyun? did I say that right?"
"Yes to both"
"It's nice to meet you both."
"Wow a gentleman."
"Shut up"
"Let's head to the car you two will have to get ready for the party."
We walk towards the exit and straight to the car park. Getting to the car was quick. We were putting the suitcases in the boot of the car. My dad took the trolley back while we got into the car. When he got in, buckled up did Maria start the car and start to drive. I had told Jaehyun about this party awhile back. It takes a little bit of time to get home, getting out of the car we get the bags out and into the house. We bring them up to my old room, we have to stack the bags in such away they don't take up space. I take one of my bags to find my makeup
"You getting ready?"
"Yeah I think the drawers are empty cause all my clothes are in Korea."
We unpack the suitcase placing our clothes into the drawers except what we are wearing tonight. I start on my makeup and it doesn't take me long to do it as I learned how to do quick makeup from my stylist. I also did some makeup on Jaehyun it was only slight. After my makeup was done did we both get dressed.
"I'm probably going to steal your coat later."
"That won't be a problem."
I start to brush and style my hair
I was going through my jewellery to decide on what to wear. He rests his head on my shoulder as I put my earrings in. As soon as I was finished putting them in did we leave my room. We went down to the living room, we were the first two finished. I guess having to get changed quickly between songs pays off. My dad and Maria come down followed by my brother. When all of us are ready we leave the house.
"Do you want to stop in Tesco to get some drink?"
"Yeah"
"Alright."
We drive and stop in Tesco only Jaehyun and I get out. I take Jaehyun hand in mine and lead him to the drinks aisle. Going through the shelves we pick what we want before heading to cash register to pay. After waiting for a few minutes and paying we go back to the car. Jaehyun got into the middle seat while I sat by the window. We have to stop by a place to get food, my brother had to go in to get the food. We place a thick towel over both mine and Jaehyun's laps to protect them in preparation for the food.
"It's pretty hot in here."
"Yeah."
It takes us a little bit of time to get to my Nana's. Parking my aunts came out to bring the trays of food in while I pick up my bag and Jaehyun picks up our drinks. We both got out of the car and my aunt hugs me. She enters the house before us while I grab Jaehyun's hand. We both enter the house making our way to the back
"Place the drink on the table."
"It looks like it will get loud later?"
"Oh it will especially with the drinking. Come on I have to introduce you to my family."
Walking in front of him, he takes my hand the moment we walk out I hear everyone shouting. My nana stands up and hugs me
"Who's this?"
"This is Jaehyun, my boyfriend."
"Boyfriend?"
They all start talking over each other while also talking to Jaehyun, they seem relieved that he could speak English fluently. I manage to escape back inside while they talked to him. Getting a glass for myself I head to my drink and open the bottle, looking out the window I see that he's getting slightly overwhelmed. He's able to escape from them all and comes inside, the moment he sees me he lets out a breath
"They really like to ask questions and talking."
"I know, get a drink and we can hide inside."
"How are you so quiet?"
I shake my head, I pour my drink into my glass
"Jagiya do you have a bottle opener?"
"Hmm there should be one here."
Going over to the drawers I open the one for cutlery and take out the bottle opener. I pass it to him. He uses it to open his bottle before passing it back to me. I place it back into its place. He passes me my glass and we head into the living room, there was one person he hasn't been introduced to yet. She's not in the living room so I go to the parlor, she's on her phone. Jaehyun comes in with me
"Hey what you doing?"
"Nothing."
"Jaehyun this is Ava my baby cousin."
"Nice to meet you."
She nods and I take something out of my bag after placing my drink down
"Sue told me you got into BTS so I got you something."
I pass her a picture of the seven of them signed. Taking it from me after hugging me. I sit down on the floor with Jaehyun sitting beside me. We spend a good amount of time talking till I remembered a promise I made
"I'm going to go ask Maria if I can get my laptop."
Leaving Jaehyun and making my way to Maria, I get the key to her car and quickly get what I needed. Heading back inside I bring the key back to her and go back to the parlor. Turning on my laptop waiting for it to boot up
"Ava will you get me the WiFi password?"
She leaves the room and brings back the password, I place it in and open up Skype. I planned to FaceTime BTS, selecting their contact I click on them. Ava hasn't released what I was doing as I hid the screen from her. The moment they answered I couldn't help but laugh as Jaehyun poked me in the side. I turn my laptop so that both of them could see who I was talking to,
"SERENITY!"
"Bangtan"
"Where are you?"
"My nana's"
"Who's behind you?"
Turning my head I see Ava shocked
"Ava come over, this is my baby cousin Ava, Ava this is BTS"
They introduce themselves to her and they all start talking to each other.
"Serenity we have to go but we'll talk later."
"Yeah see you"
They said bye to Ava as well.
"You know BTS?"
"Yeah we debuted the same year and are friends."
"Wow what's it like?"
"Interesting. If you ever can convince your mom to take you to Korea I might be able to introduce you to them."
"Really?"
"Yeah"
She hugs me,
"Don't forget we have to talk to NCT"
"You mean the idiots"
"Yes"
"We'll call later"
He nods, it has gotten late as well as dark. Jaehyun and I had moved outside, I had turned off and placed my laptop on the table. Going outside I shivered. Hearing a chuckle I felt something drapped over my shoulders.
"Can't be letting you get cold."
We were standing behind my dad, a song I knew all to well started to play. Jaehyun wrapped his arms around me, I started to sing along to the song. I lean against Jaehyun's chest, tilting my head up I can see that he is already looking at me
"Let's call my members tomorrow"
"Yeah I have a feeling we'll sleep when we go back."
"Ailish you and Jaehyun should sing something!"
"Ok?"
"What should we sing?"
"Anything"
We look at each other before shrugging, we're handed the phone to play background music. After we finished the song the all started to clap. Maria noticed that we both were getting tired, deciding it was time for all of us to go home. We said our goodbyes, I grab my laptop and we leave. I sit in the middle seat, after buckling up I rest my head on Jaehyun's shoulder. The drive back is quick as there is no traffic. All of us get out of the car, Jaehyun and I head straight to my room and change into pyjamas. We had to share a twin sized bed. The moment our heads were on the pillows we both were out.
Next day
(Sunday)
Waking up to warmth, opening my eyes I see that I'm being held by Jaehyun. I push myself up and out of his arms to stretch, a hand runs up my back and causes me to jump. Looking back and down I see that Jaehyun is awake. We have a slight stare down before I move to grab my phone to check the time.
"What time is it?"
"Around 10"
He sits up and checks his phone. Looking back at my phone I see I have a message from a friend
"Jaehyun my friend wants to meet up"
"Oh where"
"She said either Liffey or Town"
"Liffey?"
"Short for Liffey Valley it's basically a shopping centre"
"Hmmm"
He moves to pull me into his lap, wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder.
"Let's go to Liffey then and maybe head to town tomorrow?"
"Sure"
"We're meeting at the bus stop for a 12 bus, Let's get dressed"
"I might shower."
"Ah you'll need a towel then."
I feel him nod. Getting off the bed, I leave the room briefly to get him a towel. Going back to my room I hand him the before moving to the drawers. I open a drawer and look for an outfit Jaehyun left the room to get changed in the bathroom as well as to have a shower. He takes a pretty quick shower and comes back dressed
He's towel drying his hair when he comes in. Remembering that we both would either need change for bus fair or leap cards, leaving him to dry his hair I head downstairs to see that both my dad and Maria were up and outside. Going to where they are
"Ooh where are you going?"
"Liffey, Sophie wants to meet up"
"Hmm is Jaehyun going with you?"
"Yeah but neither of us have a leapcard."
"Ah we can give you ours just don't lose them."
They take their leapcard a out of their phones, put some money on them before giving them to me. Taking them I go back inside and head back to my room. Grabbing a bag I put my wallet, keys, phone, headphones, charging cables and power bank into it. I place the leapcards on top of my wallet.
"What are these?"
"Leapcards they're basically bus passes."
"Ah."
Checking the time I notice it took us over an hour to get ready. When both of us are ready we head downstairs, going outside we stand talking to my dad and Maria.
"Can one of you check the bus time?"
Maria takes her phone to check the time
"You have about 25 mins."
"Ok we're going to head then."
"Be safe."
"We will."
Heading back into the house we leave it through the front door. I send a quick message to Sophie to say that we're leaving. I carried both my wallet and the leapcards. I pass Jaehyun one and place the other into my pocket.
"How far is the bus stop?"
"Not far."
He places his leapcard into his pocket before taking my hand.
"What did you think of my family?"
"Crazy and loud reminded me of my group."
"Figured you'd say that."
"How are you quiet?"
"Don't know I'm seen as being normal in my family."
We continue walking till we reach tesco. Passing tesco and getting towards a main road, we wait till it was clear both ways to cross. Walking a little bit till we reach the bus stop, Sophie isn't here yet but is on her way. I'm nervous as she'll be the first one of my old friends to meet Jaehyun. I feel a kiss on my cheek
"Why are you nervous"
"My friend meeting us is the first friend to meet you."
"It'll be fine."
Looking around us I see Sophie coming up, she isn't alone though. It seems her sister is coming with us. When she's close enough to us, her and I hug each other
"Sophie this is Jaehyun, Jaehyun this is Sophie."
They both greet each other
"This is my sister Kim."
Again they both greet each other. We were waiting a bit longer till the bus arrived, I got on before Jaehyun showing him what to do before going upstairs to get a seat. Jaehyun got the window seat. His arm wraps around my shoulders, on the journey to Liffey I pointed out the window of where my old school used to be before it moved to where it is now. I told him it was the school's original building. We both started up a conversation with Sophie and Kim who were in front of us. Kim was asking us multiple questions about what it's like being an idol. After a few minutes we were coming close to our stop, standing up we make our way down the stairs pressing the stop button. Getting off the bus at our stop we thank the bus driver, Jaehyun seemed confused at us. We start walking up the ramp and then across the traffic lights. Jaehyun kept hold of my hand as we walked into Liffey
"So Sophie what made you decide to go to Liffey?"
"I needed to get an outfit for the reunion."
"Ah"
"Do you already have your outfit picked out?"
"Yeah."
Getting inside we walk a bit
"Can we take a look in Golden Discs?"
"Yeah Sure."
"Do you think they'll have your recent album?"
"Probably not why?"
"I want to get it"
"I thought you already had it?"
"Didn't have time to get it."
Going inside we ended up separating from Sophie and Kim. I feel a tug on my hand pulling me to a shelf. He reaches up with his free hand and takes down the album
"Will you sign it later?"
"Aish Fine."
"If it makes you feel any better none of the members got your album."
"You going to make them jealous or something?"
"Yes well not the dreamies"
"Yeah cause I gave them the album when it came out."
Sophie and Kim were looking around the shop. Jaehyun heads up to pay which doesn't take him long. All four of us leave the shop, he places the album into my bag, we stop in some of the shops. I hear a phone starting to ring and I recognise it as Jaehyun's phone
"Answer your phone."
"How can you hear it?"
"How can you not."
He takes out his phone and sees that it's a NCT member trying to video call, answering it he's met by the many faces of NCT
"Jaehyun why didn't you call yesterday?"
"There is a time difference also by the time we got back to Serenity's it was late."
"Where are you?"
"A shopping centre."
He angles the phone that they can see me talking to Sophie and Kim. I wasn't really paying attention to his conversation with them. Kim was asking me so many questions about being an idol.
"So How did you get a good looking boyfriend who is also an idol?"
"I met him before he was an idol we were friends before we started dating."
"When did you meet him?"
"Summer before sixth year"
"That's a long time."
"You should go get him so we can continue moving."
"Yeah."
I grab Jaehyun's hand and pull gently, making him look at me as well as turn the phone with him
"SERENITY"
"Nice to see you guys but we should really keep moving. We'll call back later."
"Ah do you have to?"
"Yes"
Jaehyun hangs up before they could reply
"Hey have either of you eaten yet?"
"Not since breakfast what about you two?"
"No we haven't."
"Should we get food then before clothes shopping?"
"Yeah"
We decide on getting McDonald's
"Well there goes my diet."
"Haha will you get in trouble?"
"Not really I'll just have to practice my dances while on vacation."
"I'll join you"
The four of us get on an escalator, before waiting in line for us to order
"Do you know what you want?"
"Yeah why"
I see him smirk at me
"No don't do it"
"Jagiya let me pay for you"
I cross my arms
"I can pay for myself"
"I know but I want to"
Sophie and Kim where in front of us ordering. Jaehyun and I get called up to order. We both place our orders, Jaehyun pays for both of us.
"Should we go get a table?"
"Yeah"
"Go with them."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah I'll be able to find you"
Going with Sophie and Kim we find a table for four. Sitting down I place my bag in the chair beside me
"It seemed like you two were fighting"
"Huh...ah no I just didn't want him paying for me"
"Really?"
"Yeah but it's kinda normal for him to want to pay."
Jaehyun comes over with our food, moving my bag he sits down as he places the tray on the table. We begin to eat
"What you wearing for the reunion?"
"Hmm I think I have a photo of us."
Pulling out my phone I scroll till I find the photo. Passing her the phone so that she can see
"You two are matching?"
"Yeah"
"That'll be cute"
"We might change it"
"How come?"
"Depends on how we feel"
"How do you think they'll react?"
"I don't know they'll probably be jealous."
"I'm surprised they were able to get in contact with me."
"Same, How did they even get in contact with you?"
"They found my companies Instagram and then my personal one."
"Ah"
"How did they contact you?"
"At work."
"I hope they don't say anything wrong or even try and use me"
"Do people use you?"
"Hmm sometimes like people will mention me in something or put my name in a title of either a video or an article."
"It must be hard being an idol"
"Oh it is Jaehyun and I rarely get to see eachother."
Finishing up our food we pick up the trays to throw away the trash.
"Where do you want to look first?"
"New Look and then Pennys"
"Sounds good I want to stop in Easons."
"Yeah we can do that."
Walking around towards New Look she starts to look around the clothes. I spot a nice outfit taking a picture I send it to my stylist waiting for a reply from her
"Should I do a Vlive while we're here?"
"If you do just hope fans don't come here."
My stylist reply's to me and says that it's nice as well as that we can find an outfit like it in Korea. Sending out a quick message to my manager saying that I'm doing a Vlive. Starting the Vlive on my phone fans begin to watch asking a million questions, Jaehyun takes the phone and holds it for me
"Is Jaehyun with you? Yes he's actually holding my phone."
"Where are you? Ireland I'm in a shopping centre with my friends."
I kept replying to the comments as we wait, Sophie and Kim come back with empty hands. We walk out of the shop and down the escalator. I continue talking to my fans, we walked for awhile till we reached Easons. I let go of Jaehyun to look at books, he must have flipped the camera so that it showed me. I could here him giving commentary, he also was telling me questions being asked or any of the comments. Going to the stationary I pick up notebooks, pens and markers. Taking everything I head the cash registers to pay. Paying for them I take the bag, Jaehyun and I leave the shop. Ending the Vlive after a few minutes. Sophie and Kim were waiting for us, Jaehyun wraps an arm around my shoulders. All four of us enter Pennys. We were all going through the racks. Jaehyun and I were looking at all of the jewellery. As he had a hold of my hand I felt him stop
"Jagiya?"
"Yes"
"What do you think of this ring?"
Looking at it I saw that it was a simple heart ring
"It's pretty, Why?"
"I think it'll suit you"
"What? You don't have to get me a ring, save your money."
He ignores me to pick up the ring. Sophie wanted to go check the other floors. Not finding anything really we all head to the cash registers to pay. As soon as we had left the shop Jaehyun took the ring he had bought out of its packaging, takes my hand and slips it on my left ring finger. He takes my hand, all four of us are walking down the halls of the centre when we got outside. It was around 2 now.
"What should we do now?"
"Hmmm I don't know. Sophie do you have any ideas?"
"Not really."
We started to try and toss out ideas but couldn't come up with anything.
"Why don't we go to Starbucks and go from there?"
"Yeah let's do that."
Getting to Starbucks we wait to order and then pay. Waiting only a short amount of time to collect our drinks we go find a seat. Jaehyun and I sat on one side while Sophie and Kim on the other. There was an arm around my shoulders. We were tossing up ideas but couldn't come up with any good ideas. Jaehyun was resting his head against mine. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket, taking it out I see a message from another friend asking if I'd go up to her college with her tomorrow as her friends want to meet me.
"Strange"
"What?"
"Tasha wants me to go to college with her tomorrow"
I hear Sophie gasp
"Why would she?"
"Well her friends want to meet me"
"Is it just you she wants to go?"
"Hmm yeah she knows that you came with me Jaehyun but she only wants me."
I think it over before messaging her saying I'd go but ask her what her schedule is like as I don't want to be waiting around for hours. I'll probably bring my laptop, headphones and notebook to work on some songs. After we finish are drinks we decide to go look around some more shops. If I found an interesting outfit I would send a photo to my stylist. I think we spent another hour or two looking around shops. Jaehyun kept hold of my hand the whole time. As it was getting late we headed towards the bus stop. I was getting a little cold so while we waited at the bus stop I wrapped my arms around Jaehyun. When the bus arrived we got on, it was packed so we had to stand. I standing in front of a window with my back against it. Jaehyun had both of his hands on the bar behind me, caging me. Sophie and Kim were standing close to us. Jaehyun was pushed into me when more people got on. After a couple of minutes Sophie and Kim got off, both of us waved goodbye to them. It wasn't long till we got off the bus. We stopped in Tesco as I wanted to get energy drinks and something to eat for tomorrow. I place what I bought into my bag. We continue walking back to the house. Getting back we didn't do much, I told my dad and his fiancée what Tasha had asked me. I'm not happy about leaving Jaehyun alone tomorrow. We have dinner before heading up to my room to watch some tv. I set an alarm for 5 and also 6. I have a shower before I go to bed.
Next day
(Monday)
My first alarm goes off waking up both Jaehyun and I. Quickly reaching over him I turn off the alarm. I fall back down, Jaehyun quickly wraps his arms back around me. I mess around my phone till the second alarm goes off. Jaehyun grumbles as I move to sit up,
"Jagiya"
"Yes?"
I climb off the bed and turn on a lamp to do my makeup and hair
"Turn off the light"
"I will when I'm ready and leaving."
I watch as he sits up and sits with his back against the wall. I pull out my outfit
"When will you be back?"
"I don't know but I'll message you when I'm on my way back."
He nods before covering his eyes, I take the chance to get changed.
"Jaehyun message your group to see what they want from Ireland we can create a list."
"I'll message them later about it."
Nodding I take out what I need for the day to keep me busy. I place everything into my bag along with the energy drinks and the food. Making sure I have the chargers I need as well as an adapter so I can plug them in. Checking the time I also check how long till the Dublin bus. Deciding that I should leave I head downstairs, Jaehyun follows me down. I place a headphone in and play my usual playlist. Turning to face Jaehyun I can tell he's still tired
"Go back to bed and get some more sleep."
"I will."
He pulls me into a hug before softly kissing my lips. Pulling away I couldn't help but smile
"You not bringing a mask?"
"It's not common here. I have sunglasses just in case"
Heading to the door I wave to him before leaving. I hope he goes back to bed. I walk to the bus stop and wait for Tasha. She comes just in time. We get on the bus and sit down
"It's been awhile"
"Yeah hows college going?"
"Good how's your job going"
"Good but tiring."
"What is it that you do again?"
"I work in entertainment in Korea"
"Really? You well known?"
"Yeah a little bit."
We get off the bus at the end stop. We walk a little bit to the second bus stop.
"Are you excited for the reunion?"
"Nervous more so."
"How come?"
"I'm introducing my boyfriend to you all."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah"
"How long have you been with him"
"Four years."
After a good few minutes the second bus come. Getting on I take a seat beside a window and Tasha sits beside me. I look at my phone and see a photo from Jaehyun that he sent me, I couldn't help but laugh
"What's funny?"
"Oh just my boyfriend, he's not happy I woke him up."
She nods and we both fall silent. After what's like an hour the bus pulls up to the college. Those on the bus get off, I follow Tasha off and into the college. We walk into a canteen and towards a booth sort of area. As we walk in there isn't many of her friends here yet, none in fact. We both sat down and wait, I pull out a can of monster from my bag and open it. Taking a sip I take off my hat, placing it down.
"Woah your hair."
"Huh"
"Can you work with your hair like that?"
"Yeah actually my job decided on this colour."
Her friends all started to come, I felt out of place but one of them seemed shocked to see me. Almost starstruck.
