After a few minutes of sleep, you finally gained consciousness. When your vision became clear, you roamed your eyes around then landing your sight at the person infront of you, looking at his phone.
"Howl?" You called making him look at you
"Oh, you're awake. How's my sister?" He asked
"I'm fine...." You said still roaming your eyes around the room
When you sight landed on the table where the bloody cottons were placed, your heart started beating so fast, you were sweating again. Without you knowing, you squeezed Kageyama's hand making him wake up. He looked up to see your terrified face, he followed your gaze and that's when he realized that he should've threw those away.
You were trembling, the sight of blood made you feel nauseated. You started to sob making Kageyama hugged you while your brother quickly threw the bloody cottons away. You were crying on Kageyama's chest.
"Hey, hey (f/n) it's fine, it's fine.... No more blood. Your Howlie Owl is here" Howl comforted you
You looked at him, you pulled away from Kageyama and hugged your brother tight. Kageyama was dumbfounded but he was hiding it. He just looked at you two
' I'm happy for you (l/n)-san ' Kageyama thought
"Shh.... Big brother is here. Calm down" Howl exclaimed making Kageyama flinched
' Big Brother? So the person who she was talking on the phone was her brother?! I'm such an idiot! Wait..... I still have a chance..... I still have a chance! ' Kageyama cheered in his head
After a few minutes of crying, you drifted back to sleep again. Howl gently laid you down on the bed and pulled the blanket up. He then looked at Kageyama
"Are you the setter from Karasuno?" Your brother asked making Kageyama stiffened
"Y-y-y-y-y-e-s" he stuttered
"Ah... I see. By the way, thank you for treating my sister. Sometimes, she can be quite a handful especially when she sees blood" Howl explained
"I-it's alright..... A-ano, why is she afraid of blood though?" Kageyama asked
"Oh yeah that.... Well she has Hemophobia. A phobia of extreme irrational fear of blood. Her phobia started when she was still little, she was bullied by some naughty children in the neighborhood so as her brother I protected her but they were too strong for me to handle. I got into a fight with them while (f/n) was watching. But I was pushed really hard resulting the reason why my sister was so afraid of blood. When the bullies pushed me, I fell on the ground hitting my head hard on a rock, I was bleeding, right before (f/n)'s eyes she saw her brother bathing in his own blood. It was hard for (f/n) since she was still 5 years old at that time" Howl explained
"That's why until today, she's still afraid of blood. (F/n) may be strong and all but she also has a vulnerable side" Howl said "that's also why, I'm trusting you to take care of her when I'm not around"
"B-but.... I snapped at her. I'm not good enough" Kageyama said
"Man up,...... What's your name again?" Howl laughed nervously
"Kageyama. Kageyama Tobio" he said
"Oh Kageyama.... As I was saying, man up, Kageyama-kun! I think you're good for her. Besides if only you knew....." Your brother sheepishly smiled
"Knew what?" He asked
And again you regained consciousness. You slowly opened your eyes. You heard voices in the room when your vision cleared, you saw your brother and Kageyama talking.
"Knew what?" Kageyama asked
You slowly sat up making them looked at you.
"Hey...." You said while trying to get out of bed
"What are you doing, sis?" Howl asked
"Going back to practice? Isn't it obvious?" You hissed
"But you're not fully ok" Kageyama said but you just ignored his remark
You stood up but your legs was weak causing you to lose balance. Kageyama then quickly caught you from behind
"Don't push yourself too hard" he exclaimed making your heart skipped a beat
You quickly regained your composure and shake the feeling off. Making Kageyama feel rejected while on the other hand your brother was observing.
"I'm fine." You coldly said "I gotta go, Howl. And by the way, about the nightgowns. You're so done for when I get home"
You went out of the room, leaving a rejected Kageyama and sweating Howl.
"So, did something happen?" Howl asked which Kageyama nodded
"Was it the one you said that you snapped at her?" Your brother asked again and Kageyama nodded again
"I didn't mean it like that......" Kageyama said while looking down, clenching his fist
"You just made a wrong move," Howl sighed
"I know....."
"Tell me.... Did you give her the Cold Treatment?" Howl asked which Kageyama nodded, hesitantly
Howl was dumbfounded. Howl grabbed Kageyama's shoulders and started shaking him
"Why did you do that?!" Howl complained "Do you know how hard it is to apologize to her?!"
"I c-can see that....." Howl released Kageyama from his grip and started whining
"When the two of us had a fight, I would always give her the cold treatment while she would always barge into my room and apologized but I would still give her the cold treatment. If she gave up on you, you're done for. When I was the one apologizing to her, she was colder than me. When I asked her what should I do in order for her to forgive me, she just made me suffer....." Howl said "she made me do her chores and homework for a whole week. Dude, she's evil!" Your brother exclaimed making Kageyama laugh a bit
"But in the end, she forgave me. But I think yours is different...... I like you for her though" Howl said making Kageyama blush
"I'll let this cold treatment towards her pass for now. I'll help you apologize to her but just don't do it again to her nor hurt her. Got that?" Howl said while looking at Kageyama with a serious look on his face
"H-hai!" Kageyama responded
"Good! Ok you can go and continue practice now. Just keep apologizing and something will come up," Howl gave Kageyama a reassuring smile
Kageyama nodded and left the room. Your brother fished out his phone from his pocket and called Rizumu.
"Hey Rizumu, I got a favor to ask of you. Don't tell (f/n), ok?"
["Sure what is it?"]
"It's about helping someone apologize"
["Who? Kageyama? Count me in! Ok what can I do to help?"]
"Easy. Lock them up. Together"
