[Carlisle's POV]
*Next day*
It's been a pretty good day spending time with my wife and my son. Today we've been trying to help Edwin say his basic words. Everyone was present in the living room, though Rosalie, Esme, Olivia and I are. Jasper and Emmett were in the kitchen reading newspapers. Alice was out taking a few flowers from the forest to place it for decoration in the kitchen.
Here I am holding my baby son, Edwin, letting him face Olivia who has been making funny faces for him, succeeding in making our son laugh. The rest already found this amusing.
"Come on little Ed, say mama" Olivia says to Edwin
Suddenly he lets out a kiddy gurgle "Ma!"
Everyone of us was surprised, even I was too. I bet he's gonna be a momma's boy for sure.
I praised him happily "Very good, now can you say, dada?" I twist his body so Edwin can face me too
"Da!" doing the same thing as he the way he said it before. All of us looked at each other laughing happily for Edwin.
"You said it" I carried him higher like he was reaching for the sky, earning more giggles from him and slowly brought him down to reach my mouth level so I can place a small kiss on his forehead.
Everything became tense when we heard Alice intake a break from the top of the staircase, her eyes became distant like usual when she sees a vision. But it's different, all of us turned to her worriedly.
"Alice?" Olivia asks her in concern
"I need to check on Bella" she abruptly grabbed the cellphone nearby dialing Edward's number.
She puts it close to her ear waiting for them to answer. Our focus was now on Alice. "Bella? Are you alright?" she asked to the phone
"Why? What's wrong? You just..." Alice suddenly trails on her words, unsure on what to say.
She turns to me giving me the eye signals to talk to them. "Here's Carlisle"
Alice stretches the phone at me.
I carefully hand Edwin to Olivia, it's like he sensed my distress and went to his mother with open arms. I stood up from the couch taking the phone in hand
"Bella, what's going on?" I asked
"I don't know. I'm a little worried. Can vampires go into shock?" she says, her voice unsure and concern.
Even I grow worried for my other son "Has Edward been harmed?"
"No, I know that it's impossible. But I think that I'm pregnant"
I became silent for a moment, stealing a glance at Olivia who was paying attention to Edwin.
Suddenly I hear Bella groaning on the phone "Woah! Carlisle, I swear, something just moved inside me"
Before I could reply, sounds can be heard from the phone and it seems that Edward is using the phone now
"Is this even possible?" he asks me.
I shake my head with a sigh "Not really, I don't know"
I can hear Bella talking on background "What's he saying?"
"The sooner Bella's here, the sooner we can find out what it is. I need you to get to the mainland at once" I requested Edward on the phone
"Yeah, yeah I will" Edward ended the call.
I let out a deep sigh before turning to the others. Who all looked at me with 'What's happening?'
I give out the answer "Bella might be pregnant"

The night came, we couldn't really go out. The mood and fact about knowing Bella's situation just turned the house upside down. Everyone has been trying to be calm and stay collected, deep down they were worried for Bella being pregnant. We all tried to keep the thought of Olivia being unexpectedly pregnant too and survived. Yet Bella was different, we could only hope she'll survive through this.
I was too immerse in my deep thought that I finally snapped myself out, when Olivia enters our room putting Edwin in his crib who was already asleep on her arms. Olivia moves to sit next to me on the bed
"I guess it was gonna happen sooner or later" she blurts out quietly
I respond "This could turn out differently" she nods her head "Agreed"
"Perhap it'll be the same with you" I try to motivate the atmosphere
"Maybe, but Bella's human, she doesn't have vampire gene or any abilities like me. This can....I don't even wanna think much about it. I'm afraid for Bella" Olivia shakes her head probably having mental images of Bella being pregnant with the worst outcome of her state.
I put my hand on top hers "Now you see how I feel. But we can't just judge too quickly, not until they're here and we can come up with something. Whatever Bella's decision, we'll support" I turn to Olivia
"Who taught you to be so positive?" she grins
I grinned as well "You're the one who told me not to give up"
Recognition filled her expression "By the way, I have thought about Edwin's full name"
"What is it?" curiously I asked
"Edwin Whitlock D. Cullen" she says
I got intrigued when she mashed it "Whitlock?"
"Ever since the phone call, I saw in Edwin's mind, and his will wanting me to relax. Seconds later I suddenly did. We have another empath on our hands" she explains.
I chortled in delight at the truth. Repeating the full name internally, I glanced at the sleeping infant
'Edwin Whitlock D. Cullen'
I hummed in agreement "Has a nice ring to it"

Less than 3 days, Bella and Edward arrived in our house, safe and sound. We all greeted them in the living room but Olivia and Edwin was not around, since they're upstairs changing his diapers.
But the family had worried looks on their faces, seeing Bella, she was quite alright but deep down, we all know she's carrying the something, that she does not want to get into topic yet. Bella turns to me in question
"Where's Olivia?" she asks ne calmly like the phone call never happened.
I pointed to the upper floor "Upstairs with Edwin"
"I need to talk to her" I nod, letting her pass through and head upstairs to visit my wife.
The rest of us turn to Edward expectantly, yet he held a stoic face.
"Let's talk" I started, then we all transferred to the meeting room.
Edward began to pace across the floor while ranting out "She wants to keep it, Bella wants...she wants this thing in her stomach, knowing at any moment it could kill her"
I place a hand on his shoulder comfortly "Edward we have to think this through rationally"
He freezes looking at me with disbelief "Rationally? Carlisle!" he snaps pushing my hand away "It's a monster!" he exclaims
Rosalie butts in, "Edward!"
Getting his attention from me, he turned to his sister
"Carlisle and Olivia made it through with a son, then possibly so can your child in Bella's" she says calmly but with venom
Edward became quiet and turned to me with sad eyes "Olivia was pregnant?"
I decided to remain quiet letting my thoughts speak for itself, knowing Edward can read it all without a doubt. His expression changed and softens down
"I'm sorry Carlisle..I just.."
"I know, I understand. I was also in the same state as you when I found out. But Bella is your wife, and the one carrying the baby. We have to see through her decision" I calmly advised him, we all just have to wait for the two ladies upstairs to join us

[Third Person POV]
Bella went upstairs finding Olivia around, when she did. The hybrid was in a large room putting a baby back to its crib. She stayed by the entry not wanting to interrupt the moment, Olivia was bonding with her son. It was a sight Bella wish to see that could happen to her soon.
When the baby made direct eye contact with Bella behind Olivia, the hybrid turned around and saw Bella in surprise, the two pulled in together in a gentle yet welcoming hug
"Bella, you're home" Olivia twisted greeting Bella
During the hug, Bella's gaze from Olivia's shoulder is laid on the baby who was playing with others inside. "Olivia, is that.."
She finishes for Bella "Yes, meet Edwin Whitlock D. Cullen"
"He's so beautiful, but how?" Bella turns to Olivia
She shakes her head in response "I didn't really know it was possible either, but I had faith and my vampire abilities, with Carlisle, everyone helped me through it"
Bella hungs her head down sadly "Edward wants to get rid of it" she whispers
"Do you want to?"
Bella shakes her head "No, same as you. I wanna raise it"
Olivia holds her hand "Bella, I wish I can really fix this problem, you gotta understand that it's just a little different with you. But if that's what you want, then I'll help you through it"
The two reached in for another hug, settling in the decision. Time will tell and time became the enemy for now
