12 | april has kindness (#entry)

April is soft, sweet,
and everything in between.

She's the kind gesture of a hug,
sparkling eyes filled with
as much warmth as the earth is wide.

I see her in the comforting smile
given when times get dark.

She's hidden in the gaps of
honey-splattered teeth
in a warm, sweet toothed smile.

The type of girl to pull through when
things are tough.

April is the epitome of kindness.

Fluttering here and there,
always perched on the edge
of summer.

She doesn't dare let the changing seasons
change her mindset.

She blissfully ignores the chaos of
outside interruptions,
like the dissatisfaction of lukewarm
coffee amidst winters' deep chill.

She's the breeze in the summer air,
the warm lilt of leaves swirling.
