Today I am going to Tulsa Ballet for the oreintation before ballet year starts. I walk into the theater and out of the corner of my eye I see Meredith coming towards me.
"Hey Jamie ummmmm.........why are you here, not to be rude or anything?" Meredith says with confusion.
"Oh I auditioned to be in Tulsa Ballet, Level 3... Did I not tell you?" I say suprised.
"No but you are! Now ballet is going ot be so much more fun...and we get our pointe shoes this year!" she says excitedly. "Lets go get seats!" she says as we run off. All of the teachers talk about expectations, e-mails with all of the info in them, and dress code. They start to talk about how the level 3 is going to get pointe shoes this year, Meredith gets excited and really happy. "I cannot wait until we try on our pointe shoes!" she says like she is on a sugar rush.
"Me too" I say. After the orientation ends I text Mom to pick me up and take me to Pink Pointe the dance boutique where we will get our pointe shoes, shoes, and leotards. Mom pulls up in about five minutes and we head up to Pointe Pink. When we get there many of girls are very excited and happy. I spot Meredith talking to a blonde haired girl. I run to Meredith and hug her, "Hi there" I say happily, "Who is this?" I ask looking at the blonde.
"This is Megan" Meredith says sweetly.
"Hi Megan, nice to meet you" i say.
"You too" Megan says. I hear my name, I walk to the teacher, Miss Patricia and try on a pair of Suffock pointe shoes, they fit!
"Those are so pretty" Meredith says.
"Thanks" I say. Meredith walks up to Miss Patricia and trys on 9 different pairs of pointe shoes and finally gets a pair of grisko.
"Are you happy with your shoes? They look lovely" I say to Meredith.
"I love them" Meredith says.
"Come meet my mom!" I tell Meredith while I pull her away to mom. "Mom this is my friend Meredith, Meredith this is my mom." I tell mom and Meredith.
"Hi Meredith, I've heard so much about you" mom says "I'm Mrs. Um... Jones." Good cover mom I think to myself.
"Hello Mrs. Jones It is so nice to meet you!" Meredith says.
"You too" mom says.
