You are now cleaning up the gym with everyone else. You plugged in your earpods while cleaning until you were already singing along with the song

Everyone's attention all went to you. Your angelic voice was the reason why they stopped cleaning especially Kageyama who can't take his eyes of you.

You were almost done with cleaning, you continued to pick all the balls, mop the floor and returned the other materials in the barracks. You didn't notice the boys were staring at you

When the song finished, you dusted your hands and faced the others. You stopped at your feet and noticed them all staring at you. You were embarrassed because you can't point out the reason why they're all staring
"Uhm.... What's wrong?" You asked while removing your earpods making them snapped out of it
Izumi and Rizumu went to your direction and intertwined their arms with yours while your teammates were following from behind smirking. They were dragging you out of the gym
"Oi! What's up with them?" You asked making them chuckle
"Oh it's nothing serious" Rizumu smiled mischievously
"Eh?????" You were really confused
You can't stop them from dragging you out of the gym because hello? It's just you and they're like eleven so you lose.
"YOUR MAJESTY?!!! CAN YOU SING MORE???!!" Tanaka and Nishinoya shouted
"Maybe next time!" Juvia shouted back
"Our Captain needs to rest!" Yuroichi added
"Wait what?! Sing?! Whaaaat!" You asked in embarrassment
"Let's just go" Izumi chuckled
"Wait, wait I sang? And they heard it?" You asked
All of them nodded making you blew a fuse
"Oh (f/n)-chan" your team said in unison

It's already late and you still couldn't sleep so you decided to get up and have a late night walk. You brought your phone with you and silently exited the room. You looked to see the time in your phone
11:00 pm
You just shrugged it off and continued walking in the corridor when you heard whisperings. You could feel the panic slowly eating you up but you tried to shrugged it off and followed the sounds. You perked out your head to see who or what it is. You sighed in relief when it was just the duo from Nekoma and Karasuno. You came out from your hiding place and walked up to them
"What are you four doing?" You asked while raising a brow
"Eek!" Hinata jumped while the three, flinched
"O-oh, (l/n)-san it's a just you. I thought it was a ghost" Hinata sighed in relief
"Wait wait.... Is that a nightgown you're wearing?" Kuroo teasingly smiles
"Shut up, pervert!" You whispered
Kageyama and Hinata blushed when they realized that you were actually wearing a nightgown. You were also blushing but thank goodness it was dark so they couldn't see your face at the moment. You cleared your throat, trying to maintain your composure
"Again, what are you up to?" You whispered still raising a brow
"Well, we were about to have a match with them since Kuroo asked us to" Hinata answered
"Kuroo...." You said flatly making him flinched
"Y-yes?" He asked
"What time is it?" You asked while looking at him
"11:10 pm" Kenma answered
"Thank you, Kenma. Now Kuroo, isn't it too late for a match? Remember, if you don't sleep properly you will be lacking energy for tomorrow and you don't want that do you now? You don't want Bokuto-san beat you, right?" You said in a monotonous voice
He shook his head while sweating a bit
"Now.... The four of you, go back to your respective rooms and get some sleep or else," you demanded making them shiver
"Y-yes ma'am" they said in unison and left you standing in the corridor
You chuckled then stretched your arms. You continued walking through the corridors until you've reached the exit. You went outside and scanned the surroundings and inhaled the cold air. You went to a tree near by and sat down.
Meanwhile....
' where is she going? ' Kageyama thought
He stopped at his track and stared at your walking figure. Hinata stopped at his tracked and looked at Kageyama
"Oi, what's up?" Hinata asked and followed his gaze "oh.... You like (l/n)-san, do you?"
Kageyama blushed at the Hinata's question causing him to glare at Hinata who instantly moved a few feet away.
"Why don't you follow her? It's not safe for a girl walking around in the middle of the night wearing a nightgown" Hinata said as he pushed Kageyama
Kageyama hesitated at first but what he said was true, it's not safe. He decided to follow you from behind when you opened the door and went out he couldn't help but get curious so he followed you again only finding out what you were doing. You were leaning against the tree with moonlight directly hitting your beautiful face. He walked towards you slowly, not taking his eyes of you.
You could feel someone coming so you prepared yourself and when you look behind, you see the boy who can make your heart skip a beat.
"O-oh it's just you....." You said and faced the sky once again
"W-what are you doing here, (l/n)-san? It's so late you should be asleep" He said as he sat a few feet away from you
"Don't worry.... I couldn't sleep that's all but maybe after a while, sleepiness would crawl it's way back to me" you said still looking at the starry sky
Silence was eating you up but unlike last time, this silence was comforting
"Your voice was amazing...." He complimented out of the blue
"T-thanks...."

You stared at his eyes and to your surprise he also stared back at you making you smile
And little by little, the gap between you two was closing in
You closed your eyes
You could feel his breathe on your nose....
Almost there.....
"No, I can't do this...." He said and looked away from you
You could feel your heart clenched
' So this is rejection, I finally know what it feels like to be rejected '
Were you not enough for him?
Guess you were just assuming things...
"I'm a bit confused, can you make me understand, Kageyama?" You asked trying to not make your voice quiver
He can see the pain in your eyes and he totally regretted what he just did. Killing himself was the only option he could think of right now
"I'm sorry" he stood up "I just can't, you already have a boyfriend and I-I-" he didn't finish his sentence instead he run away leaving you alone beneath the starry night with your hair gently swaying in the air
Your confused face turned into a smile. His statement made you chuckle
"Idiot, I never had a boyfriend because I'm just waiting for you"
