As soon as Izuku left the courtroom, he was wrapped in a hug from Shouto, who was thanking Izuku for everything he has done. Izuku noticed that tears had gathered in the boy's eye and told him –
"Let it all out, Sho."
Dams broke in Shouto, tears poured down the boy's face, leaving a streak of red in its wake. All Izuku did was hug the boy and whisper soft assurances into Shouto's ear, letting him release all the pain and sorrow that had built during the years under that villains' thumb. Out of the corner of his eye, Izuku saw that Fuyumi was making a phone call; no doubt that she was setting up a meeting for her mother to see a clean psychologist from another city with no connection to her father.
Tears slowly stopped falling before long and Shouto looked to Izuku before planting a passionate kiss on the greenette's lips. It felt like electricity and Izuku knows he'll never get used to that feeling of his lover's lips on his own. Widely, Izuku smiles to Shouto and takes his hand, leading him outside to the limo only to see them surrounded by vultures/the press demanding Shouto for answers. Angrily, a small shockwave comes from Izuku which pushes back the crowd as he shouts at them –
"THAT'S ENOUGH!"
Pressure exerted itself on the crowd. The sheer presence that Izuku was putting out was enough to snuff out the remining chatter from the gathered crowd. With his eyes, Izuku asks 'Do you want them to know?' to Shouto, who just nods at Izuku. Professionally, Izuku steps forward, hands drawn behind his back as he looks to the crowd and says –
"Today, the Number Two Hero: Endeavour, was arrested. He no longer has a hero license and has been admitted to Tartarus. That's all. Leave, you are disturbing the victims."
No one could speak. Everyone drew in a breath. This was not what they expected, the Number Two Hero arrested as well as put in Tartarus? He must have done something horrible. People all over Japan watched as the former Number Two was dragged out of the court in chains, a hero second only to All Might was arrested and the seeds of Doubt had been sawn within the minds of the Population.
If they couldn't trust the Number Two Hero, what other heroes could they trust?
Inside the limo, the Todoroki family breathed a sigh of relief. They had been freed of their father and they were no longer under his thumb; They had free reign over their life for the first time.
Now that the Endeavour Fiasco is over and his family free, Izuku could start getting ready for the training camp. It was to begin in two days, they leave on that day to, giving Izuku some prime time to spend with Shouto and his training. He had set up another date at a well-known cat café, Shouto having a love to cats, and its adorable to see; it makes Izuku's heart melt at the sight of Shouto holding a small cat in his arms.
So precious.
During the date, Izuku noticed that Shouto looked and acted some much happier, he was smiling more and was a lot more open, this caused Izuku to smile; his boyfriend was so happy, and his eyes glowed more, no longer clouded with hatred but cleared with love. When they left, Izuku took Shouto to Dagobah beach, hands entwined as they walk down the seas edge, the sun setting behind them as they moved. As they walked, Izuku told Shouto all about One for All; Izuku trusted Shouto more than anyone else in the world and knew that Shouto would keep it a secret. In turn, Shouto told Izuku something that no one else knew other than Endeavour –
"My father was to marry me off to a woman in quirk marriage when I became of age." Appalled, Izuku looked to Shouto, but not disturbing him from his narrative, "He had noticed that I could not manipulate my fire and ice once I sent it out, just like you did, and intended me to marry a woman with a telekinesis quirk so that my fire and ice could be manipulated." Shouto leaned into Izuku and kissed him – "Luckily, you saved me and the lady from that fate." Izuku kissed back, then after told Shouto –
"I would have fought the entire Hero Commission if he had done that. I will always be by your side. That is a promise. Never forget that."
The two lovers shared a passionate embrace, a show of their love and those around could feel it in the air.
Night came quickly after that and the lovers parted with a final kiss. Izuku entered his house, a hand held over his heart thinking 'Is this love?'. He decided that it was and missed the feeling of Shouto's embrace. When he entered, he saw both his Dad and Papa snuggled tightly on the couch and Izuku couldn't help but imagine that he and Shouto could do that in the future.
With Shouto's father out of the picture, now he had to get rid of his own birth parents from his life. He knew that now he had a powerful quirk shown to the world, his parents would want him back; and they already had plans in place to get him if by the attack in his bedroom was any indication. Still, he had to be as prepared as possible, he has a large burden upon his shoulders, and he will bare it with the support and love of other at his side. Pen flicked onto a notebook as he analysed the quirks of his parents, and the known members of the League of Villains, both working in conjunction.
As he analysed Hisashi's quirk, he realised something; his quirk wasn't pyrokinesis, he could only produce fire from his lungs and then release it. He could not control it at all, which begs the question; where did Izuku's pyrokinesis come from? He got his mother's telekinesis and his fathers' ability to produce fire but that ability to manipulate it must have come from somewhere else. He also produces fire from any where on his body, not limited to his lungs like his father's quirk is.
Unless the man lied on his quirk registration, Izuku shouldn't have this level pyrokinesis. If his mother and father's quirks combined, he could see it, however they didn't as he two quirks from different sides. A distant relative from his father's side perhaps?
Izuku's mind halted; if quirks are passed down via the parent's genes, should he be able to breath fire too? He's never tried, believing that his flames came from his pores.
That was some food for thought.
It was the final day before the class set off for training camp. Each of them had been training hard with All Might and Aizawa, the former had improved his teaching slightly during his time teaching. After school ended, Izuku booked a training room to see if his theory is correct; in the middle, Izuku activated his quirk, and breathed in. Something built up in his lungs, and he knew it wasn't the air he breathed in, and as he breathed out, plasma spewed out, lashing out like an octopus in all directions. This had to be more powerful than the flames he releases from his hands; and it was spectacular to watch. It was like watching a galaxy form, the rich purples and blues mixing together with a cacophony of zapping noises. The heat was immeasurable, Izuku could feel and see the heat coming off in waves, distorting the air around it.
Izuku had Plasma Breath.
One for All had made it more powerful, which is why it is plasma and not actual flames anymore, but still; he had gotten Fire Breath from his father, Telekinesis from his mother, but his pyrokinesis has no origin.
This got a lot more complicated.
Izuku laughs; Maybe he could bring back that old show Jeremy Kyle for a DNA Test.
Leaving, Izuku goes home to start packing his things. He had forgotten to do it before hand, so he had to hurry up and pack everything he needed for this training camp. Once he got home, he got his small suitcase and ran around the house getting whatever he needed: bug-spray, a water canteen, notebooks, pencil case, pens, weights and so on. That took three hours... By the time he went to sleep, it was 11 o clock at night, going to midnight and he had to wake up at 6 o clock on the dot so that he could do his morning routine and make it to the coach in time. Good grief.
'THE MORNING IS HERE!'
Groaning, Izuku slammed his fist on the clock, grumbling out –
"Thanks All Might."
Rubbing his neck, he got rid of the stiffness remaining after his slumber and got ready. He got his suitcase and got his clothes on then made his way to U.A where a coach was waiting along with most of the class as well as Aizawa somehow.
An hour-long road trip with music blasting through the speakers and Aizawa grinning creepily at the class, they find themselves on the edge of a cliff that falls into a large forest area. Deep within his soul, Izuku feels like his Dad is planning something, especially with that diabolical grin splitting his face, Izuku feels the phantom pain that's going to follow that grin. Once all of the class had exited the bus, a black car pulled up just behind and two ladies hopped out decked in cat costumes announcing –
"We are the Wild Wild Pussycats!" Instantly, Izuku recognises the duo as Mandalay and Pixie Bob, half of the rescue team. 'I wonder where the other two are? They have been operating as a mountain rescue team for over 12 years. That's impressive for a team, especially hero teams, to last as long as the Wild Wild Pussycats have lasted. Hold on... if these two are here then we aren't at their base, then...'
Izuku glares at his Dad, who smirks back and announces –
"This is it kids! Training camp has begun!"
No warnings given, Pixie Bob activates her quirk, Earth Flow, sending a tidal wave of dirt to the fleeing U.A students, and drags them into the forest as she shouts after them –
"You have until noon to get to our base! It is West from here! Good luck!"
From behind the two heroes, a black-haired child glares at where the students once stood before scowling and looking away, mumbling about how stupid heroes are.
Down in the forest, everyone looks around and begins walking towards the camp. Izuku knows better and keeps his eyes peeled and quirk ready to activate in a second of notice. From behind a tree, a large beast peers out and lumbers towards the students. Koda uses his quirk –
"Calm, beast!"
Carefully, Izuku watches as pieces of dirt drip off the beast's form and makes the connection shouting to the group –
"Everyone! This is Pixie Bob's quirk!"
Breathing deeply, Izuku activates his quirk before he breathes out plasma, melting the beast back into its normal state. The class looks weirdly at Izuku, the general question in their minds is –
'How powerful is his quirk?'
Slamming down his cane, Izuku release Amaterasu and thrusts it in the direction of the camp, commanding –
"We move. Yaomomo! Come up with a formation we can use to maximise our power!" Jolting at the order, Yaomono shouts out to the rest of the class a plan of action –
"Midoriya, Todoroki and Iida will be our spear; they will be our attacking force. Kirishima, Uraraka, Tokoyami, Aoyama and Sato will be defending our flanks. Jiro, Shoji, Koda and Hagakure will be recon and Ashido, Asui, Ojiro, Kaminari, Sero and I will be support!"
Calls of acceptance ring out and the class move into their formation; they are ready for battle.
Izuku begins the battle by shouting;
"Combo attack: Amaterasu and 9 Rings of Hell!" As soon as he finishes his move, 9 flaming swords hover around him and Amaterasu controlling some fire too. Lightning sparks off his form and he charges a dirt beast, using his speed to cut the legs from under it then using the swords to cut it to pieces.
Shouto releases a large glacier at another beasts' legs, trapping it and then throwing his flames out charring the beast's top half.
Tenya uses a special move, "VELOCITY OVERDRIVE!" to send him speeding at the beast, kicking the legs out beneath it and then kicking its head as soon as it touches the floor.
After that, the class fall into a rhythm, Izuku, Shouto and Tenya focus on the ones ahead to move forwards and the ones running the flank deal with the stragglers that come from the left, right or behind. The beast had no chance of sneaking up on the class with Jiro and Shoji acting as an alarm system. Yaomomo used her quirk to create equipment for the class to use such as staffs to beat the beasts with and creating water, a new discovery she had found out from a discussion with Izuku
Class had just ended, and Izuku was walking along with Yaoyorozu, asking about her quirk before asking –
"Can you create liquids and gases if you know the atomic structure?"
Surprised, Yaoyorozu tries an easy liquid, water, and it works! From her arm leaks water and she smiles with joy!
"Thank you Midoriya! This means a lot..." Izuku smiles and says;
"No problem Yaomomo!" Blushing, she asks;
"Yaomomo?" Knowingly, Izuku replies;
"A nickname. Your last name is a mouthful after all!"
It took the class 4 hours to make it to the base camp. Not as long as they thought they might have taken and Pixie Bob bounces on her feet telling the class –
"Well done Kitties! You all did so well! Especially you four!" Pointing to Izuku, Shouto, Tenya and Yaomomo, "I call dibs on you in a few years!" Pixie Bob announces, clambering all over Izuku, who just tells her –
"Sorry, I'm a taken man."
Pixie was dragged back by Aizawa who tiredly tells the class;
"You can have dinner and then you'll go get your stuff of the coach and do whatever you like after that. Bye." Snoring soon came from the man.
As the class get excited, Izuku voice cuts through it all –
"Mandalay, who's kid is that?" Pointing to the black-haired child; he looks vaguely familiar to Izuku. Mandalay looks to the child and then to Izuku and says –
"He's my nephew."
Kindly, Izuku smiles and walks up to the boy, offering his hand, saying;
"Hi there! My name is Izuku Midoriya, what about yo –"
He's cut off when a small fist strikes him in his crown jewels. From behind, all the males in the class wince at the strike and Aizawa snorts with amusement. Tenya starts doing his robo movements as he scolds the child –
"Why did you hit Izuku in his privates?!" To Tenya's left, Kirishima shouts out:
"THAT'S UNMANLY!"
The boy glares harshly and says –
"Stupid hero wannabes. I don't wanna to talk to you." His arms fold in front of the boy as his red hat casts a shadow over his eyes. Izuku clutches his jewels and wobbly stands back on his feet after falling to his knees; Izuku throws the boy a knowing look, he's seen those eyes many times, a burning hatred, eerily like Sho's eyes when they had started U.A.
A silent vow is made that night; Izuku will save that boy...
It was just after their tea (Dinner for other countries.) and the class began to relax in the hot springs. Relaxing, Izuku lays back in a hot spring, feeling the hot water wash onto his skin and sinks into his muscles as steam rises from the pool. His gut was telling him that tomorrow will be intense and that now was his last moment to relax before his restarts. Next to him, Shouto head lolls onto his shoulder, causing Izuku to give a small smile; he must have been extremely worn out from the journey today.
Bridalstyle, Izuku carries his boyfriend into their room, and lays down next to him,snuggling the boy as Izuku was lulled into dreamland with his boyfriend. Littledid Izuku know that glowing red eyes and gravity defying black hair glared at thehalf and half boy as they slept. The glare promised extra training (Torture)for the poor, unsuspecting boy.
