Natapos kaming magdinner na hindi ako mapakali. How did he know that Kit is here?!
Uminom na ako ng tubig at tumayo. Daddy already went upstairs leaving Kit and I alone.
"You should get home. Its already night." I smiled at him awkwardly. Hindi nga lang ako makatingin sa kanya nang diretso.
"You are my home." He said. Hinampas ko na lamang ang braso niya at tinulak palabas ng bahay. Nagpadala naman siya habang tumatawa.
"See you tomorrow." I last heard him say. I closed the door. Napasandal na lang ako at napabuntong hininga.
Paano ko na matatakasan si Kit? Bahala na.
Umakyat na lamang ako sa kwarto at nag-ayos ng sarili at naghanda na para matulog.
Humiga ako sa malambot na kama at tumitig sa taas. God this is so hard.
Nagpabali-baliktad na ako sa higaan pero hindi pa rin ako inaantok. I looked at the clock beside me and its almost midnight.
I tried browsing my instagram. It has been 6 months since I last updated my feed. It was a picture of the back of my brother pulling my luggage when I went home from states.
Finally.
It was the caption. Napangiti ako dahil sa nabasa ko. Damn, I missed him so much. Hinawakan ko ang dibdib ko at napabuntong hininga.
Pinilit ko na lamang matulog. May class pa ako bukas.

I have been staying here in Japan for almost a week now. Bahay school lang ako usually. I wonder what makes Kit busy.
Everytime na susunduin niya ako sa school, mabilis akong sumasakay sa taxi kahit malapit lang yung bahay namin sa school.
My Daddy has never spoken anything too. Lumuwag ang pakiramdam ko dahil sa pagdistansya ng mga tao. I needed this too.
I got a slice of bread in the table and went to the living room. Dad is still working at home. Is he that busy? But now he is wearing a black polo and maong pants. Beside him is his hard hat and a blueprint.
Tumikhim ako pagkaupo. He never dared to look at me though.
"Daddy." He immediately looked at me quite shocked.
"I'm sorry. I was just thinking." He just smiled at me. "Do you need anything?"
"Can I go to the mall? I want to buy a new bag." I tried my cutest smile and do a little beautiful eyes.
"Ofcourse, Sweetie." Mabilis akong umakyat at nag-ayos ng sarili.
I wore a white jumpsuit and red heels. I paired it with a red sling bag too.
Pumara ako ng taxi. Hindi pa ako gaanong kafamiliar sa daan kaya hindi na ako nagdrive.
I went inside the first stall. I surveyed the area when my eyes caught this black shiny shoulder bag with a gold "L" and "V" letters screaming its brand.
Its the perfect one. My mom would love this too. I suddenly miss her. I asked for a stock and payed for it in the cashier.
Papatayin na ako ni Daddy sa gastos ko. But Its a stress reliever for me! He'll understand. I hope.
Dumaan pa ako sa mga clothing lines and got me three paperbags.
Lastly, I went inside a jewelry store. Hindi naman talaga ako bibili. I just want to look at the necklaces. Next time na lang. Malapit na rin sigurong maglimit ang credit card ko.
I tried to touch the silver necklace with two hearts pendant. Its a simple necklace but it looks so elegant.
I smiled at it. Next time.
I headed home dala ang ilang mga pinamili. I took a photo of it and uploaded it in my instagram story.
My phone beeped. I was too excited to see the message.
One was a message from Kit.
Kit: Saw you at the mall, you forgot something in the jewelrt store.
My eyes widen.
To Kit: What is it? What the hell? My bags are complete.
Kit: You did. Let's meet later at dinner.
To Kit: I don't want to. Ano muna yung naiwan ko?
Kit: Yung puso ko sabi ko sayo na diba, iniwan mo naman.
Kit: Just Kidding.
Kit: Hindi mo malalaman kung anong naiwan mo kung hindi ka sasama sakin sa dinner.
Napabuntong hininga na lang ako. I just agreed to that dinner. I also want to explore Tokyo at night. They say its lovely.
After finishing my schoolworks, I prepared for the dinner. Di ko rin naman balak magtagal. Maybe just a visit downtown and then I'm already going home.
Kit texted me earlier. Susunduin niya raw ako. Hindi na ako nakapagreklamo dahil tinatamad na rin akong magcommute.
I heard the car horn. Binilinan ko na lang ang mga kasambahay na ilock ang pinto. Daddy is still home though.
"Ano ba yung naiwan ko?" Until now I am still confused of what I left in the store. Niloloko lang naman ata ako ni Kit.
He just smiled and gestured me to enter the car. Pinagbuksan niya ako. Mabilis akong umupo dahil sa lapit niya sakin.
He went inside the driver's seat. Diretso lang ang tingin ko sa daan. Nagulat na lang ako ng bigla siyang lumapit sa akin. Nanlaki pa ang mga mata ko. He is leaning closer and closer to me. I can also smell his perfume.
"W-what are you doing?" I stuttered saying still smelling his perfume.
He smirked and got spare airfresher at the compartment at the side of the car door near me.
"What?" He chuckled. He gave me a little heart attack!
Nakakunot ko pa rin siyang tiningnan. He's laughing revealing his dimples. His perfect jaws and long lashes.
Napatingin na lang ako sa labas.
Nakarating na kami sa isang restaurant.
"Reserved for Mr. Alvarez." He said to the waitress. She led us towards a table for two.
The ambiance was so perfect. The low light gave the perfect vibe for a classic dinner. An instrumental violin plays at the background.
We sat at the table. He smiled at me. I gave him a small smile.
"Ano ba talagang naiwan ko?" I was a little annoyed now. Why can't he give it already?
I just kept myself busy while he orders the food. I checked my instagram and saw Jandrick's message.
jndrcksntg: exes don't do dinner dates.
Napakunot na naman ang ulo ko. How the hell did he know? Naiinis na naman ako.
Stalker? Did you ask dad?
jndrcksntg: I always look after my property, babe.
Bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko. Babe. Just wow. We ate fucking twins!
Shut up. We are sibling for God's sake! Stop it.
Nilock ko na ang cellphone ko. Dumating na rin ang mga inorder ni Kit.
That's alot of food for the two of us.
"May kasama ba tayong kumain? Ang dami naman ata." I looked at the different food in the table.
"You didn't choose our food. I ordered all of their best sellers for you." He smiled.
"So ano nga yung naiwan ko?" He smiled at me again. He features are getting softer as he smile. He should smile alot.
"Here." He placed a box infront of me.
Napakunot ang noo ko. Hindi naman ako bumili dito. I just visited the store.
Nanlaki ang mata ko nang makita ko ang necklace na tinitingnan ko kanina.
"How did you know?" Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala.
"I should know everything about my home." He stood up and went behind me. Inilagay niya ang kwintas sa leeg ko. "and my home deserves the best." He whispered and planted a soft kiss on my cheeks.
