I washed my face and found a extra unused toothbrush under the sink
Brushing my teeth I prayed that my mama would not be in that room before I do
This was going to be my last session that she could pay for and if I don't make it there in time it's going to be her mouth in my ear
I finished brushing my teeth and rinsed out my mouth before rushing to put on my shoes
"This really gon be our last together if she finds out I snuck you out the hospital" kentrell mumbled slipping on his shirt

I hurried out behind him down the stairs

The gang all piled up in the back as I got in the front , while they were talking kentrell was driving silent
I grabbed his hand that wasn't on the wheel to give him hope that shit would be fine but I had doubt myself
I laid my head back on the seat looking out the window , why did things never work out for us?

They started arguing again making me sigh
This shit was ghetto and I hated it here
"You want something to eat before you go?" Kentrell asked as we got closer to the hospital
"I can't eat before chemo" I said lowly
"Right" he sighed gripping on the wheel

"You'on know that tho" he mumbled pulling in to the hospital parking lot

We all walked to the entrance of the hospital and I was nervous
"Hey Kahlo what are you doing down here your treatment is about to start?" The front desk lady said smiling
"So listen has my mom checked in?" I asked tapping on the desk
"Oh yes she just came down here looking for you" she said pressing her lips together "she seems very upset" she mumbled

She looked around before looking back at me "like what?" She asked

"You snuck out of here to be with your little boyfriend yesterday forgetting you had chemo now your mother is looking for you angry and you can't say you snuck out to be with him cause she doesn't like him" she said twisting her pin around
I blinked a couple times confused on how the fuck she figured that out
"You forgetting the part that they fucked last night too" kd said coming out of no where eating some chocolate making her gasp
"We did not" I defended

"You better hurry I'll lie for you just this once" she shooed me away

He came back down and deepened it making me smile a little
"Y'all bitches just nasty tryna fuck inna hospital as well" kd said as the gang looked from a far

He broke the kiss still looking down at me
"I should go" I laughed nervously

I quickly turned around before I started having my dreams again
"Damn damn damn" I mumbled clicking on the elevator button

When the elevator opened I quickly got on and clicked my level closing the door back

The elevator dinged and it opened to the site of a bunch of nurses doing work and running around
I walked in and went straight to my hospital room
"Girl where the fuck you been?" My mama voice boomed making me jump
"I over slept I was down in my friends room comforting her" I said quickly before breathing out
"See I would've believed you if you ain't have on that boys clothes" she said lowly shaking her head
I looked down sighing seeing I still had on Kentrell's never broke again joggers and shirt
"He been gave me these I threw them on last night before I went" I lied
"I didn't raise you like this" she said shaking her head "you met that boy and you started acting up" she said again making me scrunch up my face
"That's the same boy you called in to cheer me up" I said defensive
"It was suppose to be a one time thing and now look" she said getting up out the chair
"Your addicted to him" she laughed sarcastically
"I'm not" I shrugged
"If you weren't then why the fuck would you risk your whole life to go be with him for one night" she said clenching her teeth
"Because I'm going to die sadly so I felt that it's best I just live while I can instead of staying in this fucking hospital alone" I said loudly
She shook her head "I didn't raise you right"
"What chu tryna say?" I asked
"I spent my last fighting dime on this treatment and you completely messed it up chasing after that boy" she said with hate in her voice
"I spent my hard working money for you to get better and you go risk it all for what" she yelled making me rub my head
"Dick?" She asked yelling
"We didn't do anything" I said shrugging
"I can't even look at you right now" she shooed me away waking towards the door
"So your going to leave me?" I asked stunned
"Just like yah daddy" she said before slamming the door waking out
