"Who can tell me the easiest crime to commit?" Ray asked.
"Jay-walking!"
"Jay-dancing!"
"Stealing my phone."
"Trying to kill me and my sister."
"Why call it a crime? We're only prosecuted."
Ray snapped his fingers, "You're all wrong. Except for Miles."
"No, I'm talking about a crime that's so easy, it's like taking candy from a baby. SCHWOZ!"
Schwoz skipped in holding a lollipop, and wearing something of course a baby would wear.
"I am baby, I loves me lolli, and I hope no one takes from me." He says in a plain tone.
"So, you want us to stop you from taking candy from a baby?" Mika smirked a bit.
"Oh, not me!" Ray shook his head, "I'm far too good a person for that. You're stopping..." He turned and a few seconds he turned back around wearing a mustache.
"Roy!"
"Roy?" Miles repeated.
"It's Ray, but evil." Schwoz says, "And I hope he no takes my lolli."
"Oh, Roy's taking that lolli! Unless somebody stops me!"
Chapa ran up, "Get zapped!"
"Nope."
"Okay, maybe this one!"
"Miss."
"Or this one!"
"Miss!"
"Stop it!"
"Fail."
"St-stop dodging!"
"Roy don't dodge."
The last spark Chapa zapped hit Schwoz instead.
"Dang it!" She stomped her foot.
"You failed to stop Roy. Next!"
Bose was next to go up, "Did it get a little cloudy in here? 'Cause I think a brainstorm's a brewin'!" He glanced at Veronica and winked.
Veronica just pursed her lips and nodded at him. Crud, he winked at me! She thought.
"Ooh!" Ray says, "Sick entrance line. Roy approves! Let's see how you do with the execute!"
Bose got in his little pose and grunted, lifting the baseball bat up.
"Okay, how's that supposed to stop Roy?"
"Whack him, Bose!" Veronica encouraged him, smiled brightly.
Bose did whack him, but not so hard. He dropped the bat and sighed.
"Sorry, guys. One more grunt and I have to change my pants again today."
"Thanks for the weapon, kid. Roy played baseball in highschool. Four hundred RPI's. Could've gone pro if it wasn't for Roy's dang knee."
"How deep is Roy's backstory?" Chapa asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Deeper than the seas! Where Roy's a certified scuba instructor. Next!"
"Get ready to be blown away." Mika did air quotes.
"Unnecessary air quotes, B-." Ray says.
"Dang it."
Mika started screaming, but little air was blown into Ray's face.
"Take that."
"Took it. Bored. Next!"
Veronica stepped up after Mika, "I got this, ladies."
"Get your fans ready, because it's about to get hot in here."
"Alright, I'll accept it. Show me what you got,"
Veronica stretched a little bit before throwing little fireballs at Ray's feet, making him yelp and jump around.
"Dance, monkey, dance!" She laughed menacingly.
"Roy is not a monkey. A- for the name,"
"Aww, don't take it personal, bub."
"Next!"
Lastly, it was Miles. "On the contrary, there will not be a next."
"What?"
"I refuse to be tested, Roy. I won't play your game. And besides, the solution will reveal itself."
"So you're just gonna let baby die?"
"Wait, what?" Schwoz looked up.
"I thought you were just gonna take his candy!" Chapa said.
"What you don't know is that...the lollipop contains the very medicine that keeps baby alive!" Ray says.
"Miles, you have to fight him." Mika told her brother, "You can't just wait for every problem to solve itself."
"Stranger approaching," The robot says. "School mode activated."
"Byeee!" Schwoz ran off.
"Alright, the test is over." Ray took off the mustache.
"See?" Miles says, "Problem solved itself. Feels good to be right."
As their desks appeared, the kids quickly ran towards them and sat while Ray got into his blazer then went to open the door.
When he opened the door, it was Miss Shapen.
"Oh. Hey, handsome." She said as she walked in.
Ray shuddered in disgust, closing the door. "Uh..can we help you?"
"Depends. Know any good looking guys with low standards?"
"Wait. Aren't you a teacher at Swellview Junior High?" Mika asked.
"I was, but Swellview Junior High and I both went separate ways." Miss Shapen replied.
"So, you got fired?" Chapa asked.
"Bingo! Anyway, I work for the city now. Sherona Shapen, school inspector, see? Gotta make sure every school in Swellview has a license. And according to my records, you ain't got one."
"Okay, can we get one?" Ray asked.
"Maybe, but you gotta pass my test."
That's when Mika stood up. "I can pass your test, anything, give me your test and I'll pass it!" She said then whispered to herself, "You got this."
"Not you, Smartypants!" Miss Shapen looked her up and down.
"Thank you, I like yours too."
"Yeah, I bet you do. They're Bucci. This whole school needs to pass my test! You kids, the water supply, your hot teacher. I need to conduct an investigation of this school right now, or I'm shutting it down!"
"We can't take your test today because we're going on a field trip," Veronica stood up.
"Where to?"
"A field." Miles said.
"Can I come?"
"Did you get your parent's signature?" Veronica asked.
"No, my parents are ashamed of me."
"Aw, well, guess you can't come." Ray started pushing Miss Shapen out the door.
"I'll come back tomorrow and I better see some teaching! And some learning! Some phys. ed, some driver's ed, I wanna see all the Ed's!" Miss Shapen then walked out.
"We better find some Ed's!" Ray looked at the kids.
The next day, Miss Shapen did come back. And there was a montage of the kids actually doing school stuff.
"Alright, you all failed."
"What? How?"
"Failed to do anything wrong! You passed!"
"Yay!"
"Yes!"
"Let's go!"
"You'll get your two new students tomorrow."
"The who?"
"Wait what?"
"Whoa, whoa, take that, rewind it back." Ray says.
"Oh, well they've been learning at a bus station for a month. I'm moving them here tomorrow."
"Well, what if I don't take them?" Ray asked.
"Then I'm shutting it down!" Shapen hit a button and guards walked in.
"Are you shutting this place down, Shapen?"
"I don't know. Am I?" Shapen looked at Ray.
"Fine, we'll take them." Ray rolled his eyes.
"Then, carry me out, buster!" Shapen ran towards one of the guards and got carried out.
In the Man's Nest
"Okay, so we find these kids personal information then-" Mika got interrupted by Ray.
"Boring! Schwoz, go get the memory wiper. When the new kids show up, we erase their memory."
"Do you ever listen?!"
"Ray, come on!"
"I told you ten times, the memory wiper got destroyed when you and Kid Danger fought Drex!" Schwoz says.
"I know how to get rid of these kids." Chapa said. "We get a chainsaw, and a ceiling fan."
"Chapa, no!" Mika exclaimed.
"I'm listening." Veronica says.
"Are you serious?" Miles scoffed.
"What's your deal?" Ray asked Chapa. "Why are you so scary?"
"A boy stole my cell phone."
"So, go buy a new one!"
"No! If your best friend got stolen, would you buy a new one?"
"Yes! My best friend moved to Dystopia so I bought five new ones!"
"Aww! Love you, man." Bose reached out for a fist bump.
"Eh, we'll get there." Ray fist bumped him back hesitantly.
"Okay, according to the Swellview laws, the new kids can agree to leaving on their own." Schwoz says.
"Then that means they can't shut us down!" Ray threw the book.
"So we just make life for them as miserable as possible, then they leave on their own!" Veronica says.
"Right!" Ray clapped his hands. "Good plan, Ronnie."
"And surprisingly not violent." Mika smiled.
"Uhh, you didn't let me finish." Veronica smirked as she stood up, "We find out who they love the most, and then in the middle of the night-"
"Ronnie, please!" Mika huffed.
"Oh, come on, let her finish!" Chapa whined.
"It was so good!" Miles frowned.
Veronica shrugged and pursed her lips as everyone looked at her, looking down and fiddling with her fingers.
