ITACHI JUST STOOD THERE, not knowing what to do. Just a while ago, after many hours of her begging him and not being able to resist his cute little sister's eyes, he lent her his sword. But what happened next, was very unexpected as she swung the sword not clumsily as Itachi thought it would be.
Apparently, she was able to pick up many skills just by watching him train with Shisui, a good friend of his and her favourite babysitter. From this time on it was quite clear that she would grow to be great sword fighter.
"Onii-sama! Look, I'm just as good as you! Just you see onii-sama, I'll be a better shinobi than you in no time!", she yelled, while pointing her small finger at her most respected brother.
He just chuckled.
"I'm sure you will", he said, smiling fondly at her but at the same, his heart ached, realizing that she won't be always his baby sister - that she was bound to grow up.
In the near future, she will be exposed to the toxic violence that is happening in the world. And he didn't want that.
Meanwhile, she practiced even more with his sword while he paid attention, not wanting her to be cut by it, though he couldn't help but sigh.
'It seems like she's growing up too fast...'

Being killed by her? No, that wasn't his plan at all. Though he couldn't help but freeze, seeing the dangerous glint if her eyes as she pressed her blade onto his throat. He backed up, pretending that he could be harmed as he held up his hands in a surrendering manner.
"Yua-chan, maybe you and Tobi can talk it out? Just like real adults!" He pleaded nervously.
"No." She replied. Each time she took a step forward he went one backwards until his back actually touched the tree behind him.
"Well, if you wanna know Tobi's secret you must get it!" He exclaimed.
She squinted her eyes. He must be aware that she must have had the upper hand, which she hadn't. His silly roleplay of being the incompetent, unreliable Akatsuki member help him immensely to be regarded and such, in result being underestimated for a long time.
"Doton: Mogura Tataki no Jutsu! [ Earth Release: Whac-A-Mole Technique ]"
He disappeared in the wood as soon as he said that, leaving the girl wide-eyed. He then appeared right behind her and hit her with the stick he had since the beginning before she spun around and swung her sword. But he disappeared again, now beside Kakashi as he also tried to attack him but failed. Who would have thought that Tobi had such abilities?
He appeared on a tree right above her, swinging his stick around triumphantly. "Hah! How do like that? That was my newly developed technique that can't be blocked whatever you do!"
"Futon: Senmōfū [ Wind Release: Tempest Wind ]." She swung her sword again, now towards Tobi who has his guard down. A strong whirlwind was produced by her katana, strong enough to cut of the many thick branches. But the attack was too slow as he manged to dodge the attack with ease to her dismay.
"Yua-chan, you almost killed me!"
"That was the intention."
Kakashi however had other plans. "Don't kill him yet. We still need to extract all the information regarding their plan to catch all the Jinchūriki."
He didn't join her fight as he searched for his partner, Deidara. Rarely did a member move alone as they had partners assigned to them. And considering that Tobi, the child-like member, was alone it was most likely that Deidara hid somewhere. Since he was one of the best trackers of the village, he took the task to so as they have planned before.
"Tch ..." How troublesome. That would make the mission even harder than it already was. But she couldn't object his statement, since he was her superior after all. She nodded. "Understood." And he went off.
She body-flickered herself to where Tobi stood and made a stabbing motion to pin him to the tree. But he deflected her blade again, this time however the kunai he held didn't last as it shattered. It was only natural that the metal of the kunai couldn't match with the sharpness and high-quality of the blade. After all, it was made by one of the most sought-after blacksmiths in the continent who would gladly make the sword of the Uchiha heiress. So, he dodged it again as he mocked her in a provoking manner. "Oops! You missed again!"
"Raiton: Izanami no Tsurugi - Chidorigatana [ Lightning Release: Sword of Izanami - Chidori Katana ]."
It didn't really surprise him at all that she was able to three of elementary Nature Releases, as she has found it quite easy to connect with them, and she wasn't afraid to use all of them to advantage. Another reason she was feared - to be able to control these many even when she was only 16 years old just wasn't the standard of being a young shinobi.
She slashed the side of Tobi's torso, who couldn't halt the movement of her sword as the lightning-enhanced blade was too strong to be held by a mere kunai. "It seems like you can't move anymore." She said, expecting him to not be able to move as the electrical current of her sword would make his muscles contract.
"You wish!" He chided as he fell down the branch and landed gracefully on the ground without any trouble. How was he able to move? She looked closely with her Sharingan and saw no tear in the muscle, meaning that he didn't even touch one inch of the blade. But how was that possible? She followed close behind, also landing on the ground in front of him.
"You know, I thought you were smarter than this." Tobi suddenly stated his way speech to refer himself with third-person and his higher pitched voice now not recognizable anymore. He raised his shoulder and shook his head disappointedly. "Of course, I'm able to dodge all your weak attacks. Why don't you use your brain for once?"
She saw a red flash through the tiny hole in his mask. And realization hit her. 'Was that a Sharingan?' But why only one? Unless he lost his other eye, as fighting with only one Sharingan willingly would be not as efficient.
She was utterly shocked - how was there another survivor when all he let lived was her and Sasuke? Could it be? She shook her head. There was no use for Itachi to hide his face under such a ridiculous mask, when all the countries knew his face and what he has done. He even openly declared his association with the Akatsuki as soon as he showed up in the cloak.
She pointed her sword towards. "Who are you?" She glared menacingly.
"I'm a nobody. Don't concern yourself with a useless thing called identity."
"Then what do you want?"
"Oh... Not much. Maybe taking the life of one or two - or even thousands?" He shrugged. "Who knows?"
"And mine?" She raised an eyebrow.
"No, silly! How could I when I've taken so much liking to you?" He giggled again in his childish voice.
How much she wished that Kakashi was here to support her, so that there was another witness to what he just said.
"No, I have an entirely different plan for you. You see, you'll be part of my little experiment."
She tensed at that. She didn't like the word at all. How dare he use her for such a thing. "No, I do not have any interest in that at all." He then turned towards the direction, in which Kakashi has gone to.
She felt the Kakashi's chakra, which supposedly concealed, drawing nearer and nearer. She was relieved that someone has answered her call. "It seems like you won't be able to get away." She said to Tobi, but he was unfazed by his return.
"Well, if he were dead, he won't be much of help, don't you think?" He replied cunningly.
And then it dawned her. He didn't know about Tobi's real personality. He could kill if he wanted to, not like his persona, which didn't have any report on any kill. And he wouldn't know of the fact, that Tobi could phase through any kind of attack. As longs as they don't know trigger and the time period in which Tobi had a physical form, they wouldn't be to harm him. Kakashi would underestimate him. Tobi rushed towards the grey-haired shinobi, who was oblivious to the killing-intent of their opponent.
"Raiton: Chidori [ Lightning Release: Chidori ]." He formed the hand seals for the jutsu as he charged his attack to kill him.
'You see Kakashi, I've never liked, ever since we were children. So, I hope that you can die a painful death since you even let her die - the one you swore you would protect. It truly is shame seeing you die by your own invented technique.'
Only then Kakashi realized that he was being targeted. 'Ah, so he wasn't as dumb as I thought.' He wanted to catch the arm of the attacker and dodge, but his hand went through, not able to halt the attack that would soon reach his abdomen. Kakashi couldn't do anything but watch as the jutsu he was familiar with drawing near and feel the tingling of the lightning. And then he closed his eyes, expecting the unbearable pain - but it never came.
He opened his eyes slowly and realized that he stood on the ground now, not on the tree he was just un. Where was he? Eventually sobering up he saw that there, where he just stood, was now her. Blood was dripping down her mouth as she coughed out the red liquid. 'No. Not again.'
Tobi felt his hand engulfed in flesh which was hers. She felt disgusted. How can he develop such a vulgar technique? "You fool. Why did you sacrifice yourself for such trash?" He asked her.
She let out a dry laugh. "I will never give you what you want." She coughed again.
"You should be thankful that I redirected my hand at the last second." She saw the mischievous glint in his eyes. "You will live, fortunately."
He retracted his hand, and as the only thing that supported her, she fell from the sturdy branch, not able to stand on her own. She was certainly falling and nothing, even Kakashi who stood too far away, could catch her fall. She smiled at him though he was still shocked. 'Go.' She mouthed to him.
But he couldn't let her go, not when he can save her from dying because of her neck breaking from the fall. She couldn't see all too well, though he could see red flashing from his eyes as noticed his chakra being directed there.
He activated his Mangekyō Sharingan though he never was able to perform to his best with his Kamui. But he had to try - to save her from the dangerous fall. But he didn't know that Tobi never intended to let her die such an unfortunate and not planned death. Just like him Tobi activated Kamui and used it on her.
'Seems like I have to proceed with the plan earlier than I expected.'
And then she was gone.
