Shinsou opened his eyes and darkness surround. How long had he slept for? He checked his phone, it was 2 am.
'just perfect!'
The purple haired student groaned as he sat up. Pumpkin jumped up onto him. Shinsou forget that his cat slept on his bed with him every night. Before the dorms, the cats always slept on his dad. He was a feline magnet.
He pet her and she meowed at him. Shinsou turned his bedside lamp, which cast dim light across his small room. All of a sudden, he blushed intensely, remembering last night's kisses with Denki.
'Denki doesn't want you'
'he just feels bad for you'
'he wouldn't care if you left'
'no would notice if you left'
'why can't I be left alone for once?'
Tears fell from Shinsou's eyes. He thought about how he had let Denki kiss him. Denki didn't need Shinsou messing him up anymore. He carefully moved his cat off of him.
Shinsou went into his bathroom and found the box of razors. He pulled up his dark purple hoodie sleeves and cut his arms.

3...
4...
Then he lost count. Shinsou watched the blood drip down. He looked over at his other arm. There were scars from the night when he had helped Denki when he fell.
' Denki...'
'what would denki think?'
'what would he say if he saw me?'
Shinsou hoped he'd never have to know. Worry struck him. What if Denki was in trouble right now? Maybe he was in trouble from their talk earlier?
Shinsou's heart beat faster in worry. He sat down on the bathroom floor. His mind was racing with what could be going wrong with Denki.
'he's probaly fine, just asleep'
'i should go check on him'
'no, that's too weird and creepy'
'if he sees me, I'll say I was just lonely and awake'
Just as he stood up, he fell back down from the pain if his arm. It all came at once and was intense. His mind was filled with only the pain of his arm, and not worry, stress, or of what others thought of him. He stayed like that for a while.
An urge came over him.
'do the other arm'
'you'll be free for a while'
'then you can go see Denki after wrapping it up'
He grabbed the razor again and messed up his other forearm. He tried not to cut his previous scars. When the pain came, he embraced it and let it fill him. After it had passed, he felt everything else return.
What also returned was the fear that Denki could be upset or hurting.
The purple haired teen stood back up and wrapped his arms up with the first aid kit. Shinsou closed the bathroom door behind him and went to his blonde neighbor's door, turning his light off first. He was very careful to be quiet.
Knock knock
A very tired Denki opened up the door. His eyes lit up when he saw Shinsou and he grabbed his hand. Denki closed the door and brang him to the bed.
"What are you doing awake so late, Silly Boy?"
"I woke up and felt lonely. I have trouble falling back to sleep, so I came to see you."
Shinsou stared at the floor. He felt stupid for thinking that Denki would be in any trouble. Yet he still wanted to look back at his golden eyes.
"Well I also woke up a little bit ago. Maybe 5 minutes ago or somethin' like that. I don't know how I'm gonna fall back asleep either."
He looked up to see Denki with a small smile looking at him. Shinsou looked back at the floor. He felt so empty inside, with no will to continue the conversation.
"Shinsou?"
"Yeah?"
"What's wrong?"
He paused, then decided not to hurt Denki with his troubles.
"Nothing. I'm fine."
Denki creeped closer to him put his chin on Shinsou's shoulder.
"Shinsou, I can tell when something is bothering you. Tell me what is wrong or you're never leaving this room. Which means Mr. Aizawa will be very mad at me and you for not attending class."
"I can control you with my quirk. It's pretty easy to leave."
"Fine then. But I will find out."
There was more silence until Denki grabbed Shinsou's hand. He rested his head on the purple hoodie.
"Are you mad that Bakugo hurt me still?"
"Well yeah, but I'm not mad right now."
"Are you sad that you have to go to school tomorrow without me?"
"Not really, I've done it for years."
"Oh yeah..."
"What about... Oh! Is your anexity getting bad?"
Shinsou didn't respond. He really didn't want Denki to find out what he did. But then he realized that Denki was letting him help him recover from his eating disorder. So now he didn't see why Denki wouldn't want to know.
"Yeah... It hasn't been good. I've been taking my medicine, but it's getting worse."
Denki put his hand around the one he was holding. He was barely touching Shinsou's arm, but pain flared on his cuts.
"I'm glad you told me. It's gonna be okay. I'll help you calm down when you're getting bad thoughts."
"Thanks Denki."
"Anything for you, lovely one."
Shinsou blushed at the nickname. He remembered when Denki had called him lovely when they had their first night together, when Denki had fallen over.
Pain jerked him form his thoughts. His arm that had Denki's hands was falling from the safe spot on leg. Shinsou quickly moved it back to where it didn't hurt him. But then Denki's hands left him.
Shinsou looked up at Denki. Denki was looking at him confused.
"What's wrong with your arm?"
"What are you ta-"
Shinsou saw that he had moved down his sleeve a bit when he had rearranged it. Panic filled him. His heart beat fast, time seemed to stop for him.
'Anything for you, lovely one.'
Denki's words echoed in his mind. Shinsou closed his eyes and tried to calm himself.
'it's okay, he has a right to know'
Shinsou carefully pulled down his sleeve. The blood had seeped through the white bandages.
"Shinsou! This is really bad! You can't be doing this to yourself!"
Denki was crying all of a sudden, then he hugged Shinsou tightly.
"Anytime you want to do this, come to me! Hug me, and if I'm asleep then I'm giving you permission now to have a surprise sleepover! I'm always here for you, no matter the time and if you feel awkward or selfish doing it."
Shinsou was crying too now. He didn't understand why Denki was so nice to him. He decided to pull down the other sleeve, which had less blood coming through the bandages.
Shinsou could feel Denki's eyes on his arm. The arms around him hugged tighter.
"I love you. Remember that if you're ever alone."
Denki pulled him down so that he was laying down. He stroked Shinsou's hair and he turned off the lamp.
"It's gonna be okay. Go to sleep, you need it."
Shinsou was too tired to argue, and he didn't mind sleeping with Denki playing with his fluffy hair.
Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
Shinsou woke up to the loud noise, and Denki's movement. He shut it off.
"Shinsou... It's time to get up..."
Denki was looking his face. Shinsou bit his finger.
"Hey! I was just waking you up! Let me go!"
Shinsou released his finger. He sat up.
"Do you think that annoying alarm didnt wake me?"
"Well.. Okay.. Maybe it did."
"Yeah, exactly."
"But you didn't have to bite me!"
"But I wanted too, and I didn't need you poking me."
He got up and saw Denki blushing while he was pouting. Shinsou pulled down his sleeves.
"I'll be right back, I gotta change. Then we'll go eat together."
"O-okay."
Denki sat up quickly and went over to his dresser. He looked really anxious and his hands were shaky.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just a bit nervous about breakfast. Since next week is my last week to see if I have to leave."
"I'm a little nervous too, but it'll be okay. We have eachother, so that's already a really good thing."
"Yeah, yeah. I'll be okay."
Denki now wore a genuine smile. Shinsou left the room. He took care of Pumpkin then changed into his school uniform. Shinsou took his medicine. After that he kissed his cat goodbye, then an idea popped into his head.
Shinsou rushed over to Denki's dorm.
"Are you allergic to anything?"
"I hope not!"
Denki said as he was texting someone on his phone. He had on a pikachu T-shirt and black shorts. Denki was also wearing the choker that belonged with his hero suit.
'he's so dann cute!'
Shinsou left, blushing. He picked up Pumpkin who adored being held and any attention that was given to her. He opened up Denki's door and put the cat on him. Denki looked away from his texting to have Shinsou's heart melt by Denki's reaction.
Denki dropped his phone beside him and screamed. He booped the cat's nose and squealed when Pumpkin meowed sweetly in response. He sat up and hugged Pumpkin.
"Shinsou."
Denki was staring him crazily in the eyes.
"Denki?"
"I am in love. We have to keep this!"
Shinsou laughed at Denki and walked over to him to pet Pumpkin.
"I've had pumpkin for 3 years. I'm letting stay with you today so you're not lonely."
"Pumpkin! You're such a sweetie, Shinsou! Thank you for letting me watch her!"
"Yeah, I'm getting her food & water then we're eating."
After preparing pumpkin, they left for breakfast. They were holding hands like they did most days. Everything was fine and they were making toast together.
"No, Kiri! I'm not apologizing!"
Denki froze next to Shinsou. Neither of them had noticed Kirishima and Bakugo on the couches.
"Just ignore them. You're fine."
They continued on, but Denki had stopped talking. Shinsou got out some strawberries and asked Denki to wash them. He understood that he didn't want to risk getting water on his cuts.
They sat down and Denki slowly calmed down. Denki ate some of the strawberries first, then had his toast. After that, him and Shinsou finished up the straw berries. They were really sweet and tasty.
"I'm so excited for Saturday! It's gonna be so much fun!"
Denki exclaimed. Shinsou smiled a little bit. He adored seeing Denki happy.
"Me too. We're going to have a really good time."
Shinsou said as he got out of his chair. They washed up the dishes and went back to Denki's dorm.
"I'll see you after school then."
"Yeah, and don't worry about me or Pumpkin the cutest cat in the world."
Shinsou smiled at him as he rubbed Denki's hand. He swore to himself that Denki had the most amazing eyes in the world.
"Hey guess what?"
Denki said excitedly.
"What?"
Denki put his arm around his waist and kissed Shinsou. They released and Shinsou kissed him back.
"Now don't worry about me. I'm fine."
Shinsou smiled again and nodded.
'those eyes'
"Okay, I won't worry about you. So you don't worry about me."
"Fine then. I'll see you after school."
Denki gave him a quick kiss then left. Shinsou walked off to class. He could feel that his cheeks were as red as a beet.
'Denki uses vanilla chapstick'

I'm sorry that this isn't the Lake chapter! I wanted some cuteness and a bit of sadness before I write a long chapter. It was short but sweet! Comment your dream pet! Mine is a fox which are illegal where I live. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! It was done at 1:05 am.
