Sohyun POV:
I was trying my best to calm myself down, I climbed the fence and got into the garden with no effort , the girls were copying my moves silently, we already made a plan for breaking in so we knew exactly what to do.
And Taehyung.....
Yes , he insisted on coming with us he said it while glaring with his usual serious look and I couldn't say no , but of course after I made him promise that he will never tell Yoona about it.
After I made sure that no one was at the house I decided to go inside through the window, the girls were scanning the place carefully , Taehyung was just following me with furrowed eyebrows he clearly doesn't like this.
"Am going through the window, stay tuned and be careful " before I lift my leg to go inside, Taehyung grabbed my arm with force , I looked up at him and he gave me an irritated look .
"You're not going anywhere, stay here I'll handle it by myself " he said with a low husky voice , his eyes were dark and I was trying to pick the best word to not make him mad.
"No, I can't let you go alone it's dangerous, I'll go with you , please let's not argue now , we don't have time"
"Let's go " he opened the window and got into the house with no effort, he held my hand and helped me get inside .
The light was off and it was so dark , Taehyung held my hand tightly as he walked with careful steps around the house, and I looked around scanning the place but I found nothing useful.
Maybe cause I was distracted by his soft touch?
Taehyung POV :
I don't know why am I doing this, it's far from my personality but something inside me don't want to leave Sohyun go there with no one to protect her , God knows what danger she will face inside that house , and I won't risk it.
And maybe she will forgive me?
According to the plan Sohyun and I will sneak into his house, others will stay outside just in case someone came , when I was looking around the room I noticed something.
The laptop was on the desk.
I turned around to tell Sohyun that I found it , she was already looking at that direction and that means that she saw it there before I do , her eyes was full of fear and I can fell her small hand shivering , I need her to talk to me .
"Sohyun? You okay?" I squeezed her hand and pulled her closer.
"Brother?...." she said still looking at the laptop.
"Yes...?"
"The laptop and the pictures, it's there"
"Let's get them" I said with a smile and she nodded.
Sohyun POV:
I tried to take the pictures from the desk but my hands keep shivering, I've never been this weak.
"Sohyun you're strong and you know it , you can do it" he whispered , he always picks the right words.
"I can't " I looked up at him and he was smiling, still looking into my eyes he put the stuff into the back , I could feel my cheeks turn bright pink .
Great! Know he has seen your weak side!
"Hey! Why are you smiling, am just a little scared" I was getting offended by his actions, but I tried to wash the embarrassment off my face as I followed him.
We came out of the house, we walked to the gate with fast steps, "wait, we can't go out like this, we need to distract the security " Taehyung whispered and pulled me to hide behind the wall, I was being pressed against the wall with one hand next to my head and the other one holding my wrist tightly, I can feel shivers down to my spine at his closure.
"Taehyung, I didn't want to go to jail" I whispered
Still scanning the place he spoke "Don't worry, we can get out of here safely, trust me?" He finally looked at me and it only made it worse , with his playful grin and his sparkling eyes I was lost.
Seconds later I pulled to the ground , I was obviously laying on top of his hard chest breathing loudly from my sudden shock.
"What are you doing?" I asked him in confusion.
"We will roll down , he will not see us like this way" he said with a serious expression.
"what? I can't!"
"Trust me"
"Okay" It's very awkward but we have no other option, if yoona saw us like this she will kill me for sure.
I can clearly hear his heartbeats with my face laying on his chest, for a moment I wanted to stay in this position forever, but I can't think of him this way he's my sister boyfriend, he means nothing to me.
You like joon ki don't forget that.
Taehyung POV :
It's very different , we were too close her head was on my chest, I hugged her from back and started to roll down, my heart was beating fast I've never felt this way towards any girl, whenever I hug Yoona or kiss her I don't get this feeling, a feeling that I want to last here with her forever, but why with Sohyun?
I can't let it happen.
"It was a hard job but we did it anyway, thanks if it wasn't you I wouldn't have escaped safely, you don't know how scared I was back then" she said with a smile , her cheeks were bright pink from embarrassment.
"I can do anything to protect you " I said as my fingers trailed up to tuck a lost strand of hair behind her ear
"lets get out of here , your friends are waiting in car and they must be worried" I tried my best to act normally after my unexpected move.
I started to walk ahead of her and she followed.
Sohyun POV:
After what happened today,I don't think that I can look into his eyes without getting that weird feeling.
Goosebumps?
I was back to reality when I heard Kia cry , great! I forgot that I have to be there for my friend at her lowest , it's all your fault Kim Taehyung!
"Kia, don't worry sweetie, we will solve this together by law so please stop crying " I patted her back .
"Sohyun....thanks for everything!" She hugged me tightly, I smiled before I hugged her back but the voice of lola saying that they reached their house made me pull out of the hug , I said goodbye to the girls and they all walked inside the house.
After that Taehyung started driving away , and I was starting to get nervous .
Him and I alone here? This can't be good for my weak heart.
The ride was silent, awkward silence , I was relieved when the car stopped near my house , it will be awful if I just went inside without thanking him for the ride right Sohyun?
"Hmm.... thank you for helping and also for giving me a ride home, see you tomorrow at the cafe" I gave him my best smile and waited for his response.
"It's okay, good night Sohyun " he smiled back.
That adorable smile.
Next morning
We all were waiting for Taehyung, it's been an hour now where is he?
Just when I was about to call him , I saw him walking to our table with his usual cold expression .
"Finally, you're late" I said with annoyance.
"Don't forget that I have other business" he rolled his eyes and continued "don't worry about the pictures, I hired a lawyer he will deal with it , trust me Kia he will be punished" he handed her the laptop bag.
"Thank you brother, how can I return this favor?" She smiled and took the laptop.
"Nothing, you are Sohyun's friend and it means you're mine too" we all sighed with relief, it's finally over.
"It's means a lot for us , thank you brother" I smiled
"It's okay, now I have to go" he turned around to leave when I suddenly called his name , I walked to stand in front of him playing with my fingers nervously I asked "What about our trip?"
"I will call after work , bye"
And he left .
Taehyung POV:
Trying to focus on my plan on destroying the man that took my everything, my mind keeps thinking about yesterday incident, why did I say those words.
"I can do anything to protect you"
Sohyun is his daughter , I can't think differently of her.
"It's time for our first move, first we will start a rumour that his company lost a big deal , and that he is about to lose his position " I ordered Mr. sung.
"Okay sir,I will start working on it"
I stood up and went down to my secret room, the place were I keep all the secret information, things no one should see or hear about.
Joonki POV :
I was sitting at the table waiting for her, the waiter asked if I want anything and I ordered a bottle of wine, I took a sip from my drink as I waited for her.
I called Sohyun minutes ago , I told her that I want to tell her something and she said that she's in a near shop, why is she taking so long ?
I looked up to see her coming to me, waving her hand her with that adorable smile of her, she's so sweet, "Hey" I said with a smile when she sat on the chair in facing me.
"Oppa! I missed you a lot " she said with excitement.
"Me too, wanna order something?" I pointed for the waiter to come over.
"Hmm.... a cocktail?"
The waiter served her drink and she murmured a small thank you before taking a sip , I stared at her while she was busy playing with her phone, when I looked at her a memory flashed in my mind.
Back then when I was 12 and Sohyun was 7, she used to play alone in her room, Yoona never allowed her to touch her things or play with her friends, on results day I noticed the pain in her eyes as she started at her father hugging Yoona, she was broken from inside.
That's why I was curious about her relationship with Kim Taehyung, am very sure that Yoona won't let her get close to him , so why does she always hang out with him?
"So, what were you doing with Kim Taehyung?"
She looked up to me with confusion "Taehyung oppa? Yoona asked me to show him the good places in Seoul, he's new here"
"But Sohyun you need to be careful, we still don't know him well, he suddenly came with yoona from abroad and you fully trust him in a short period of time?"
"Who is he? where he came from? where is his family ?do you know anything about him?"
"No , but am sure unnie knows everything about him so we don't need to worry about him, you know her very well she will always choose the best" she said with a frown.
I sure yoona won't tell her the truth , I need to do something about this , "forget it , I really want to spend time with you and Yoona so why don't we all go on a trip?" I tried to smile as I asked her .
"All of us? Me , you , Yoona, and her boyfriend?" She asked in excitement and I nod as a respond.
"That will be great , but you should also call Yoona she might be busy"
"Okay then" I took my phone and dialed her number , she answers at the second ring.
"Hey"
"Hey Yoona, really missed you...so what are you doing?"
"Am working, why didn't you come today?" Yoona spoke calmly.
"I was thinking about a trip for all of us , you , your boyfriend , Sohyun, and I .... what do you think?"
"That's great, but let me ask him first , I'll text you "
"Okay, bye"
Sohyun POV:
I walked out of the restaurant when I suddenly received a call from Taehyung.
"Hey, am free now so where are we going?"
"So sorry , I thought you were busy so I made plans with oppa"
"Oppa?"
"Yeah joon ki oppa, he invited to hang out we might eat dinner together, and he wants to go to the park"
"Okay..... enjoy your evening " and he hang up.
Joon ki pointed at his car , and we both walked to it.
Taehyung POV:
Great! My good mood is ruined by this news , just when I thought that I can take a break she's busy with another guy.
The voice of my phone ringing pulled me out of my thoughts, it was Yoona.
What does she want now?
"Yes?" I answered.
"I tried calling but your number was busy w-" she was about to say something but I cut her off.
"Why did you call?" I said clearly annoyed, I still can't forget that she left her sister alone in the heavy rain.
"I wanted to ask for your opinion, we want to go on a trip and we plan to stay there for three days, what do you think?"
"No I'm busy these days"
"Come on! We hardly spend time together lately, it's gonna be fun"
"I said I'm busy"
"I already said yes to my friend ,what he will think of me?" She said irritated with my cold behaviour.
"Its not my matter, why did you say yes without asking me first?"
"Okay if you're not going, I will go alone I know they will tease me , Joonki and Sohyun will enjoy and I will feel lonely it's your fault!"
"Joon ki? Your childhood friend , and Sohyun will also go?"
"They made this plan for us, but you ruined everything"
"Hmm..... I can cancel that meeting, anything to make you happy" I said with a smirk, finally something to light up my mood.
