Hey guys,

I just wanted to check in with you. First of all, thank you so much for all of your advice from Chapter 36. Some of your recommended to do Just Dance, which is when I remembered I had a PS3 game which is called Singstar where you can dance, so I have spent my days awkwardly dancing in front of my TV as my mom watches me unimpressed by the side. I also started Chloe Ting's workouts (have done so five days soon and am definitely planning to continue). She is awesome. I love her so much.

Regarding TV shows, I am pretty much set for life with your recommendations. Now, whenever I want to start another TV show, I have your comments to go back through. I've already finished one of your recommendations- The Good Place, all four season of it. It was so good!!!! Would 10/10 recommend. I believe Brooklyn 99 is up next because it was on many people's comments.

These are just some of the advice I've started to implement into my quarantining life, so thank you so much!!! You guys were really helpful. :) Right now, I am far from bored. I always have something to do, and days pass by really fast.

How are you guys fairing in this world? I hope all of you are doing well!

Stay home, safe, and healthy,

Breezebane

The Avengers, the ones who were sitting in the living room which included Tony, Natasha, Clint, Thor, and Bruce, all simultaneously frowned at Ned's statement. They were all quiet for a moment, trying to decide if they had heard him right.

"Are you, um, okay?" Bruce braved to ask. "Do we need to get you anything?"

"I'm good." Ned flashed him a thumbs up. "Thanks. I think it was the burrito that I ate earlier today."

My cheeks reddened at his situation. Ned was right. This was pretty embarrassing.

I clapped, trying to get their attention away from... that. "Anyways. What have you guys been up to?"

Before they could respond, Pepper stepped into the room. "Dinner's ready."

Steve emerged from the kitchen wearing an apron that said, 'Flippin' Awesome'. "We made homemade hamburgers."

"Hell yes! I love hamburgers!" Clint sped from the couch, the competition that built around the Game of Life long forgotten. He was the first one on his seat by the dining table.

"What a child." Natasha snorted with a small smirk on her lips and took her time to stand up and moved to the dining room.

Mr. Stark walked to Pepper and murmured something into her ear. I quickly talked over their words to Ned as I didn't want to hear whatever he was privately saying to her with my enhanced hearing.

"Ned, you're joining us, right?" I asked Ned.

Steve heard my question. "Of course Ned will be joining us."

"Oh, that's okay." I could feel Ned was a bit uncomfortable as he wasn't as accustomed to being surrounded by the Avengers. I knew he wanted to be with us, but he wasn't sure if Steve was saying that just as a common courtesy. "I should be getting home anyways soon."

"Nonsense. You can stay and eat with us." Steve gestured to the table.

At his insistence, Ned grinned. "Oh my god, yes! I'd love to! I mean," he coughed, "Thank you. I appreciate it." Steve gave him a small smile.

We sat down at the table with the others. Light banter filled the room as everything went back to normal. I relaxed. I loved the environment they had here, the supportive relationships, and how no one tried to hurt each other. Everyone was trying to have a fun, enjoyable time, together.

I knew they still had questions they had planned to ask me but had pushed it off until I felt better.

I also needed to deliberate about May. Was she really all this time acting so cruel because of the drug? She did protect me against that person who was pointing the gun at me and Zenon, but did she really change? Could I trust her again?

A part of me would never fully trust her again. Not after everything she did.

May was still being checked out right now. Mr. Stark said she will be done with all of the tests tomorrow, which is when she will come and visit us.

I didn't know what this meant for me. Would I move back to that apartment that harbored so many bad memories, or would I stay here with Mr. Stark? I knew staying here was unlikely, but it still made my stomach churn with worry at the thought of having to go back to the apartment with May.

Ned whispered to me, "You okay? You're a bit quiet."

I forced a smile. "I'm fine."

Ned raised an unimpressed eyebrow and sarcastically said, "Haven't heard that one before." Okay, maybe I did tell him a thousand times I was fine in the past when I really wasn't.

I raised my finger. "Okay, correction. I will be fine. I just need a couple of days."

"Alright, Peter. But if you need anything, and I mean anything, tell me. And if you don't-"

I cut him off, "Yes, yes. I know. You'll hunt me down until I accept your help. We've been over this before."

He grinned. "Exactly. I'm glad you understand the terms."

Looking down at my food, a plan formed in my mind regarding the next couple of days in the tower.

"Actually. I need your help." My eyes flicked over to the others who were busy talking amongst each other. "I'll tell you after dinner."

"You got it."

I groaned awake in my room, tangled in the sheets around me on my bed. I still had a panging headache, especially around my temples, albeit it was much less painful than yesterday.

"Friday, what's the time?" I asked aloud. I didn't have a phone to check the time, nor a watch or another electronic device, so whenever I needed to know the time or something else, Friday was there to help out. Without her, it could be eight in the morning, two o'clock in the afternoon, or six in the early evening. I wouldn't know.

"One o'clock." Looks like I slept through the morning. Friday continued, "Tony did not want to wake you up since you need rest, but I was told to inform you that lunch will be brought down when you request it."

Stretching, I said, "Thanks, Friday." I stayed in bed for another seven minutes, staring at the white wall as if it held answers that were beyond my reach. Once I realized that it was just a wall and wasn't going to answer any of my questions, I forced myself to look away. I threw the Iron-man themed bedsheets aside and rolled out of bed, landing in a crouch. I wanted to walk a bit, so I decided to get lunch myself, even though I would probably get scolded by the Avengers.

I washed up my face a little bit in the bathroom before going to my closet and trying to find a shirt that wasn't dirty.

Tugging on a clean white shirt, I walked out of my room and towards the stairs. The commons room was a floor above mine, so waiting for the elevator actually would probably take longer. I climbed up the stair and walked over to the door, putting my hand on it to push it open.

"...not in New York City." I heard someone say with my enhanced hearing, and I paused to hear what Mr. Stark had to say. "It's like he's just gone. Poof, disappeared, even though he was taken by that guy. What was his name? Zap or something?" I had a feeling they were talking about the disappearance of Spider-man. Crap.

Natasha corrected him, "Zenon. Though, his real name is Bob Shufflebottom." Bob Shufflebottom was Zenon's real name? That must have sucked having the name Bob Shufflebottom as a kid.

"Yeah him. Are you sure you went through the building thoroughly?" Mr. Stark asked.

I heard Steve say, "Yes. We checked every room. He wasn't there, but, we did find his suit."

"His suit?" Mr. Stark asked, and I could hear the surprise in his voice. "Why would he leave his suit? Where did you even find it?"

My heart rate picked up. Oh, god no. They were getting close, but I did not want them to find out like this.

Pushing the door open, I forced a smile on my face and strode loudly into the commons room. They were all sitting on the couch in the living room, and their heads all turned around to see me at the noise.

"Hi, guys!" I said with enthusiasm.

"Peter," Tony said with a smile, "How are you doing?" It seemed at that moment he realized that I was not doing perfectly well, and I was supposed to be in bed, resting. "And why are you not in bed?"

I rolled my eyes. "The doctor said to rest, not to stay in bed the whole day. Besides, I wanted to see you guys. And I'm hungry."

Mr. Stark tilted his head and looked confused. "You're hungry? I thought you were Peter?"

Everyone in the room groaned, even Thor, when we realized he did a dad-joke.

Natasha muttered, "I need a drink, and not the PG-13 type."

"What? It was funny." Mr. Stark grinned, seemingly proud of his joke.

Thor started. "No, it wasn-"

Bruce lightly knocked his arm into his Thor's stomach. "Don't be mean."

Steve said, seeing that no one was offering food to me, "There's pizza in the kitchen that we order fifteen minutes ago. Help yourself, Peter."

"Thanks, Mr. Rogers," I said, moving to grab a slice of pizza in the kitchen. They had ordered a couple of different pizzas with different toppings. There was a pepperoni pizza, a veggie one, as well as the best pizza known in existence: Hawaiian pizza. I took two slices because I felt my stomach growling and put them on the plate.

I walked back to the dining room, munching on the pizza.

Clint flared his nose when he saw I picked Hawaiian pizza. "Do not tell me you are one of those crazy people who think pineapple belongs on pizza."

"Okay, I won't tell you." I smiled at him and took another big bite.

Clint stuck his tongue out and then pretended to gag. "Gross."

Mr. Stark interjected and told Clint, "You're gross."

Natasha rolled her eyes at us. "Real mature. Though, I wonder why I have expectations for you in the first place."

"Hey!" Clint looked offended. "I'm very mature!"

Natasha and Clint started arguing about his maturity level while Bruce took out a book and started reading it.

Thor, in the meantime, pulled out three Go Gurts from who knows where and basically inhaled them all within a minute. Once he was done, he turned around one of the wrappings and laughed. "Banner! Banner!" He shook Bruce's shoulder although he already had Bruce's attention when he called out his name.

"Want to hear a joke?" Thor asked, but before Bruce could respond, he read off the Go Gurt wrapping, "Bruce, do grizzly bears wear water skis?"

Bruce looked confused and shook his head. "What? Of course not. They wade in the water to catch fish, not to ski. A bear would have to have a high mental capacity in order to operate water skis, but you would first have to worry about designing water skis that are compatible with bear paws, which is quite a feat itself."

"That's why you never tell a physicist with seven PhDs a joke." Clint piped into their conversation, pausing the argument with Natasha. "So what's the answer, Thor?"

"Bruce is right. They don't. But it's because they are bear foot." Thor grinned at the joke. "Bear foot. Do you see how it's a joke?"

Before they could say anything, Mr. Stark's phone buzzed and he took a look at it. He spoke up, "I'm going to take Peter so he can talk to May. I'll be back later."

"May is here?" I frowned as I looked at Mr. Stark.

He nodded. "Yeah, she just arrived on your floor. You guys can talk in your room. I'm sure you've missed her and have some catching up to do since she was kidnapped."

I didn't really know how to respond to that because my feelings regarding the issue were not concrete and were jumping from regarding the situation one way to another way real fast.

Once the elevator arrived, we went in, and he pressed the button.

As soon as the doors closed, he turned and looked down at me. Apparently, he was taking this chance of being alone with me in the elevator to give me a quick talk. "I haven't had a chance to really talk with you, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm glad you're okay. You scared me there, bud. Try not to get kidnapped by a villain again, would you?" There was seriousness behind the joke. He seemed pretty worried about it.

I rubbed the nape of my neck. "Sorry, Mr. Stark. I'll try not to." Though my career as Spider-man was going to make that a little bit more difficult than for the average person.

We arrived on my floor and walked to my room.

"Also, please don't run into danger," He added, probably referring back to me planning to help the people in the building on fire. "Tell me about it, and I'll take care of it."

"Okay, I will." That was a half-lie because technically I wouldn't be running into danger. Spider-man was.

"Anyway, do you think you can join me in the lab tomorrow or so? You don't have to do any work. You can just hang out and listen to some music."

A grin broke out on my face. Would I like to go to the lab? I'd love to! "Yeah, sure!"

"Great." He opened the door, and I saw May standing in the middle of the room, gazing down at the Iron-man themed blankets.

She looked up at the noise and gave me a hesitant smile. "Hi, Peter."

My heart rate spiked at the sight of her, even though I tried to keep myself cool and collected.

"Well, I'll leave you guys to it. See you later, Pete." Mr. Stark gave me an encouraging smile before leaving me with May.

I can do this, I told myself.

Then, we started to talk.
