Avu's POV
soon the colleges left to go their room and we also left to go home and make some last minute checks. After making sure everything was okay we finally headed home and it was afternoon already.
Avu: this competition thing is hectic (i said while flopping on the sofa)
Sidd: it sure is (he laid down beside me)
Abhi: but it was also fun at the same time
Jannat: that's true since we were doing it together it was extra fun
Vaishu: yup but now let's change and just chill for a while
we all changed and gathered in the living room and we were sitting in a circle deciding what to do
Vaishu: hey sidd, why don't you play a song on your guitar
Faisal: yeah that's a great idea
he went upstairs and brought his guitar....he sat on the sofa and started playing and singing

Jannat: guys that was....
Reem: beautiful (she completed for her)
Vaishu: you guys have beautiful voices
Jai: and they sound even better together
Avu: thank you guyssss
Faisal: you should sing together more often
Sidd: i mean we are performing tomorrow what else do you need (he said laughing)
Vibha: about that....are you guys ready?
Abhi: i think so...we are going to rehearse right now for a while just to be safe
Sidd: maa you're coming right
Vibha: yes of course
after that we rehearsed all evening and after dinner we went to sleep.
Reem's POV
the next morning i woke up by avu hitting me in the face with a pillow
Reem: avi what are you doing (i said in a angry voice)
Avu: im waking you up (she said with a mischievous smile)
Reem: this is not the way to wake someone up
Avu: whatever...now get ready or else di will yell at you again
i quickly got ready and went downstairs....everyone was sitting there having breakfast
Vibha: oh good reem you're awake come have breakfast
i said good morning to everyone and sat down to eat breakfast. After breakfast all of us were talking about how the competition is going to go and we just watched a movie
Abhi: okay guys we will leave after lunch
Vaishu: and take your clothes over there and you can get ready there because we have to go there and set up the gift baskets and packages still so just wear casual clothes right now.
Avu's POV
we all got ready, packed our clothes and then left for the venue. After reaching there we put our stuff in the corner and starting arranged the packages for the students on the table. That didn't take us that long and after making some last minute adjustments we all got ready. We had different outfits for the party and different for the performance but mine and bandar's performance outfits were pretty simple since we were just singing. Right now we got ready in our party outfits because our performance was in the end so we could change after.
OUTFITS:
Avu's POV
me jannat, reem and abhi bhai were done changing so we were outside for the rest and then i saw that they were all wearing black
Avu: what is with everyone wearing black....im the only one wearing blue (i said with a pout)
Vaishu: don't worry avu i'm with you (she said as she came from behind me )
Avu: yay (i hugged her)
Sidd: hey, im also wearing blue i want to be included (he said as he also joined the hug)
soon jai and faisal also came out
Jai: why are they hugging (he said pointing towards us)
Faisal: why am i the only one wearing white?
Reem: because you're unique (she said giggling)
soon the principal arrived
Principal: guys this is even more beautiful in person (he exclaimed as he looked around)
Everyone: thank you
Principal: and all of you are looking very nice
Everyone: thank you sir
soon all the guests and students started arriving and after everyone was here the principal went on the stage and started talking
Principal: good evening guys, I would like to welcome you to the official ceremony of the 25th Inter College competition (everyone clapped). We are very grateful that this year we had the honor of holding it at the emperial college. Before i continue any further i would like to call upon the stage the 8 people who made this possible who organized this whole competition, who are responsible for the decoration around you....I would like to welcome Abhishek Nigam, Vaishnavi Rao, Siddharth Nigam, Avneet Kaur, Jaijeet Singh, Reem Shaikh, Faisal Khan and Jannat Rahmani.
all of us went up on the stage and the principal gave the mic to abhi bhai
Abhi: We would like to give all of you a warm welcome from behalf of the whole emperial college and we hope that you have fun at this competition and make many memories. We would like to thank our principal sir for giving us this opportunity and trusting us with such a huge responsibility and may the most deserving college win. (he yelled the last part and everyone started cheering)
he gave the mic back to the principal
Principal: today we have some very special performances put together for you guys so now we would like to welcome the fantastic four on the stage (everyone applauded)
we all got off the stage and stood on the side watching the performances.
Abhi's POV
While the performances were going on i saw vishu talking to some guy from the other college and he was holding her hand. i felt a pang in my heart but i just disregarded it and focused on the performances but that thing was still pestering me. I didn't talk to anyone and gave one word answers when anyone asked me something because i was so busy thinking about vishu and that boy. It was time for us to change so we all went to the changing rooms and i was about to go in when someone held my hand from the back....i turned around and it was sidd
Abhi: what do you want? (i asked in a annoyed voice)
Sidd: dada are you okay?
Abhi: im fine
Sidd: well that's a lie
i can never lie to him
Sidd: tell me the truth
I contemplated telling him but ended up deciding to tell him...i narrated the whole incident to him
Sidd: but dada they could be just friends, or cousins who knows
Abhi: i know but they could also be something more
Sidd: why are you thinking negatively
Abhi: im not thinking negatively im thinking realistically
Sidd: dada....i know that's not the real problem..tell me the REAL problem
Abhi: you're right, that's not the problem sidd...the problem is that i have liked her for so long now...i have given her so many clues but she still doesn't know and you know what hurts its the fact that she's never going to know. Because she will never think of me like that..never and i know im never going to be able to tell her how much i like her....no how much i love her. she is going to move on and get a boyfriend and im still going to be stuck here still in love with her. I can never tell her because i don't want to lose the friendship we have right now. It hurts that no matter what happens i'm not going to be able to stop loving her and no matter what happens she will never love me back. I was there for her when the incident happened, i was there for her when she was going through depression i was always there for her but she is still not able to see how much i love her. And you know what it's not even her fault...it's my fault....my fault that i fell in love with my best friend(i said in a frustrated voice)
i waited for sidd to say something but he didn't i looked at him and he was staring at something behind me...I turned around and i was shocked there she stood with tears in her eyes
Vaishu: y-you l-love m-me? (she said as her voice cracked)
