It had been about a month since his high school entrance ceremony. Recently, Jinyoung had started noticing him.
That one guy...
He would show up in front of Jinyoung's classroom every day during breaks and stare at him.
"There he goes again. It's you, Jinyoung. He's watching you." said Youngjae nudging Jinyoung with his elbow.
'What's with that guy? What does he want from me?' thought Jinyoung. He just could not understand him.
"It's not like he ever talk..." replied Jinyoung taking a glance at him with a questioning look.
And every time Jinyoung looked back at him, he would always avoid Jinyoung eyes being all flustered wearing a shocked and awkward expression on his blushing face.
It seemed that he was a boy from the class next to Jinyoung's.
His name was Im Jaebeom...

One day, during the break, Jinyoung was running an errand for his homeroom teacher holding a vase in his arms heading into staff room. While walking in the Hall way...
[Wham]
"Ack"
That was Jinyoung bumping into someone. He could control himself not to drop the vase, but...
"What kind of jerk...?" Jinyoung cursed under his breath while looking up to the one that bumped into him.
"Sorry, my bad" said the boy with apologizing face leaving Jinyoung amazed by his handsomeness.
'Ah...It's Mark from my class... He's really cool.' thought Jinyoung and chuckled at his own thought.
'It's the first time I've seen such a good looking guy in real life, as expected of high school...' thought Jinyoung while walking not paying attention to front properly. Having taken a few steps, he saw someone's feet in student slipper in his way so he looked up, only to see shocked Im Jaebeom.
'Wah...It's that guy. Im Jaebeom.' thought Jinyoung. Jaebeom was staring intensely at Jinyoung with the usual shocked and awkward expression on his face.
'What? Scary...his eyes were bloodshot...'
"Wha...?"
Before Jinyoung's words ended, he started to speak to Jinyoung.
"Le...Le...Let me carry that. Where are you taking it...?" he said offering a hand to carry the vase in Jinyoung's hands. He hurriedly let out his hands to reach the vase and it caused a slight touch to Jinyoung's hand with his leaving Jaebeom all flustered and to take a step back.
As a result, the vase crashed to the ground.
"Agggh! it's breakable" shouted Jinyoung.
"I am sorry", Jaebeom said and started collecting the crashed fragments of the vase with bare hands.
"Ahhh..."
"Hey...You are bleeding!!!" said Jinyoung worriedly holding Jaebeom's hands in instant and bandaging the bleeding palm with his scarf.
"Hurry up and go to the nurse!"
At the moment, Jaebeom could only stare at caring Jinyoung but then he remembered his fault of breaking the vase and said,
"No. I'll pick it up.", while paying attention once again to the vase crashes on the floor. But Jinyoung could not let him and shouted impatiently.
"It's fine, just go! Why would you say that? Your hand's hurt", then Jaebeom could not help but to listen Jinyoung finally.
"Yes, sir"
Jinyoung sighed and shook his head at the same time watching Jaebeom go to the nurse and murmured,
"There are weird people here, too. As expected of high school..."
Jinyoung cleaned up the mess and then followed Jaebeom to the nurse. When he reached there, he saw Jaebeom getting treated by the school nurse.
"Are you all right?" asked Jinyoung standing behind the door of nurse room. Jaebeom looked back at the door where the voice came from and said,
"Ah, I'm good"
Having assured a little by his words, Jinyoung tried to say some words since he felt a slight guilt after all.
"Ah... Um... I'm sorry for letting that happen when you went to such trouble."
"Nah, same here! Sorry!" replied Jaebeom instantly and he continued,
"Here! Let me return your scarf!".
He offered to return the scarf while bowing at him politely.
But it's just Jinyoung that did not want to complicate things than it is so he replied with an assuring smile,
"No. Thanks for worrying about it, though.", while signaling him that he'd be going with the hand gesture and leaving hurriedly out of the room.
Jaebeom felt that he needed to do something or if not he would be regretted then he rushed out of the room and shouted with loud and clear voice.
"I like you!"
"I like you. Please go out with me, Jinyoung-ssi"

'Ha. Why the hell that kid could think about returning that scarf which is oozing with his blood? Weird guy...' thought Jinyoung while shaking his head. While Jinyoung was in his own thought, a clear voice rang out from behind.
"I like you!"
'That was that guy's voice, right?' thought Jinyoung taking a glance back where the voice came from.
"I like you. Please go out with me, Jinyoung-ssi"
That was Jaebeom confessing to Jinyoung. Jinyoung saw Jaebeom bowing and offering a handshake at him, obviously with the bandaged hand. He was dumbfounded at everything that was happening for seconds and did not even know how to response but when the realization hit him,
'Hold up! Me?! And also... is he sure that he want me to shake that mummy-hand? Aishhhh...'
Jinyoung just could not believe what was happening. But he managed to reply Jaebeom.
"I'm sorry!" said Jinyoung bowing back at Jaebeom.
But for Jaebeom, it took all the courage out of him to finally confess. He could not just accept Jinyoung's instant rejection. He just could not give up. He could not at all. So he tried once again. He looked Jinyoung in the eyes and said,
"If I have to say, I guess this is too sudden. I don't know anything about you and you don't know anything about me. Th-Then! LET'S START TO GET TO KNOW TO EACH OTHER!"
"My name's Jaebeom. Im Jaebeom" said Jaebeom determinedly.
Jinyoung could see his face blushing beet red. It was just too sudden and unexpected for Jinyoung that he was confessed to and by Jaebeom, the weird guy from class next door at that. Although he felt bad for Jaebeom because he seemed sincere, dating Jaebeom was not just right for him at the moment.
'Ah...I don't even want to start...' thought frustrated Jinyoung.
"Err...there's someone I like."
Jinyoung's reply was like a dagger stabbing to Jaebeom's heart. He could not help but to ask Jinyoung. He needed to know the main reason of Jinyoung's rejection.
"Wh-WHO?!"
Before Jinyoung could answer, the teacher popped out of the classroom near them and warned the two noisy students.
"Hey! Class has already started, You Brats!"
Grabbing the chance, Jinyoung tried to slip out.
However, Jaebeom could not let Jinyoung go. He was so determined not to give up on it. This is like last chance for Jaebeom. He had to do something. He intentionally pretended as if he did not hear Jinyoung at all.
"How's tomorrow if you have free time? Huh? How is it? It's kind of soon but I am going to S Amusement Park! Anytime is fine! I'll definitely be waiting!", said Jaebeom suddenly leaning towards Jinyoung and spouting out what he had to say nonstop not giving a chance for Jinyoung to even response.
After saying whatever he wanted, he dashed out of Jinyoung's sight looking all flashed.
"See you"
Jinyoung was left dumbfounded again.
"Hey-" shouted Jinyoung. Despite the sound calling him, Jaebeom did not turn back.
'If I don't go?! What if I don't go?!'
'He said he'd be waiting, DEFINITELY'
Jinyoung had gone pale by his own thought and the burden Jaebeom gave started working on him seriously.
