To be honest, you guys should have seen the whole "April Fools" joke coming. Cause, you know, it's April Fools, people are gonna make jokes.

But, regardless, I do have the actual story, prologue and all, and, seeing as how keeping it to myself won't do me any good, I figured I'll release it here and then skidaddle on with my life.

Now, before you ask, does this mean I'm coming back? It doesn't. Not even by a long shot. I just got really fucking bored during quarantine, and I needed something to do, so I made this. Don't expect anything from me anytime soon after this.

With that being said, I hope ya enjoy and stay safe out there.

"What to do... what to do..." A very bored said as he tapped the end of his pencil in front of his desk. "Well yeah, generally that could work...? No, that's too stupid."

Turning his chair around, he took outside of window, looking for a spark of inspiration. However, all he got was a branch, shaking in the wind, a few leaves slowly breaking off and flying off into the wind. Turning his chair back around, he slumped into it, unsure of how to go by this task. He was currently working on an essay for school, given how it was the end of the first semester. And of course, in proper school fashion, one of the finals given to him was to write an essay. While the instructions on how to go by this particular paper were given, he just hadn't a clue on what to write. Truly, he had no cunning or clever ideas in mind.

"Christ this is hard." He commented once more before crossing his arms.

"(Y/N)! Dinner's ready!" A female voice from downstairs called. Our protagonist, (Y/N), heard her, before getting up from his chair.

"Coming!" He replied, leaving his assignment behind. Not like he cared much about it anyway, but that's beside the point. Grabbing a zip up hoodie, he swiftly put it over his normal T-Shirt before entering the hallway and quickly walking down the stairs. Walking into the living room, (Y/N) stepped over Chewy, his Golden Retriever, whom was taking a nap for being a good boi. A "walking cloud" as a few of his friends would call her. Some more mindless walking later and down into a chair did (Y/N) go. And coincidentally enough, right as he did, his mother had placed a plate of food in front of him.

"Ah, there you are, kid." A man with glasses spoke in front of him. "You know how your mother gets if you're late for dinner." He said folding his newspaper before putting it down.

"Course I do. Been alive for nearly eighteen years now, dad. I think I know how both of you work by now." You said picking up a fork and digging it. Nothing could have beaten his mother's cooking.

"Yeah, well, neither of us'll hear the end of it, so be lucky you got here just in time." He said doing the same as you.

"Oh hush you too. Just eat your dinner before I tell both of you to go to your rooms." Your mother said, sitting herself down.

Dinner was the same as usual: your father would read a bit of the paper, your mother would make comments on what was said, and you'd secretly give Chewy a bit of your food while the two bickered about... well something. Overall, it was generally a good old dinner evening with your family. And we can't forget Chewy, either, for helping you eat all of your vegetables, too. She shall definitely be rewarded with some treats later on, that was for sure. As your mother took your empty plate, your father followed her with his in hand, as it was his turn to help dry the dishes. As he did, you noticed the newspaper, it shifting from his side of the table to your mothers side. While you weren't exactly too into reading the daily news, something on the front page stood out to you. Obviously, it wasn't the sports section, as you didn't do so hot with those, either. However, instead, it was the face of a familiar looking animatronic.

Freddy Fazbear was her name. Why she had a male name, despite being a female, was beyond you, but you weren't going to question it. Besides, you've been going to that pizzeria for as long as you could remember, at least, when it was your birthday. But, besides all that, the news article read as follows: "HELP WANTED! Freddy Fazbear's Pizza: Family pizzeria looking for security guard to work the nightshift. 12 am to 6 am. Monitor cameras, ensure safety of equipment and animatronic character. Not responsible for injury/dismemberment. $120 a week. To apply call: 1-800-FAZ-FAZBEAR"

"Huh... security guard...? Hm." You said reading for anything else on the paper. Reason being, despite being in school, you didn't exactly have a job like the rest of your friends at school. Not to mention you running low on cash since you spent it all on... certain scandalous novels to say the least. Hey, a guy needs his fun too, you know?

(...)

"Hi, I'm here to talk about the job listing for night guard." You told the woman behind the registration.

"Ah, yes, night guard. If you will please follow me." The woman said standing up and walking into the main room. You followed suit, hopeful that you may have scored big here.

Walking inside the main lobby, it was as you remembered it. Kids screaming their heads off having fun, parents watching their kids to make sure no one gets hurt, and angsty teens being angsty. The smell of pizza and such wafted throughout the air, as well as staining the floors, too. Ashame that the flooring was carpet, since you knew from experience that such a combination was very much difficult to clean. But nothing some elbow grease can't do. As well as a scolding from your mother, too.

Continuing to follow the woman, she led you towards the kitchen, an area you haven't seen the likes of. However, it was your standard pizzeria kitchen, what with pizza ingredients and necessities and such. Much to your dismay, none of the chefs wore white clothing, but rather just the standard Freddy Fazbear attire that was a hat, black shirt, pants, and an apron. But, there was Freddy's face on the left bosom area of the apron, and she was wearing a chef's hat to make up for it.

Walking past them, the women led you into a room past them.

"Here we are. Mr. Cawthon? I believe we have someone for the job you wanted." She said before wishing you good luck, leaving you with who was Mr. Cawthon.

Funny enough, this Cawthon guy wasn't facing you, however, his desk had quite the assortment of items. A desk fan, a yellow plush of Freddy herself, what appeared to be a mask of some sort, a Mic, a red figurine of some sort you couldn't identify, and a soda cup. But, what made the surrounding area ominous was the one light shining down on him.

"Um... hello?" You greeted awkwardly.

"Hm? Oh, shoot. Looks like we got one." A voice no older then their teens said.

"Excuse me?" You asked?

The chair then spun around, showing off a kid in what appeared to be his late teens. This truly caught you off guard. He was wearing a purple sweater, and a hat with the Freddy logo at the forehead. Due to the bill of the hat, you couldn't see what his face looked like, but his smile was seen. It gave you an eerie feeling to say the least. You took a step back.

"Heh, let me guess. "Hey, that can't be Mr. Cawthon. He's only a kid!" Right?" He asked sitting back, his smile not leaving his face.

You gulped.

"Ah, I'm just messing what ya. And yeah, you're right. I'm not Scott, but rather his substitute for today. He's a very busy man you know. Anywho, here for the security job, am I right?" He asked.

"Uh, yeah. That's right." You replied.

"Ah, beautiful, beautiful. I'll let you know right now, if you're worried about any special skill and what not neccasary, don't worry guy, you're fine. As long as common sense is what's on the brain, then you're practically made for this job. All I ask, as well as Scott, and the entirety of the company of Fazbear entertainment, is that you sign this here waiver. To sum it up, if you read the newspaper, you read this piece right here. But it basically states that whatever happens to you during the job, that shit's not on us, got it?" He said pushing the paper towards you, as well as a pen.

"A... A-Alright." You agreed taking the pen and signing your name. This has truly been one of the most strangest ways to sign up for a job you had ever been to. Well, this was your first, and only, exchange anyway.

"Ah, beautiful, beautiful. And with that, I believe you and I are-a done here. Meet me here... when do you think you'll be able to come in?" He asked.

"Sometime next week. School ends this week and I'll be on break next week." You explained.

"Huh, convienent. Well then, meet me here at twelve AM sharp next Monday. And I'm talking night, not the day, got it?"

"You got it."

"Beautiful. Well then Mr... (L/N), welcome to the Fazbear Family."
