"I killed him, Ggukie, I did it", Taehyung mumbled against Jeongguk's greedy lips while the man was holding tightly onto Taehyung's waist like he was drowning without him. Drowning in his love now. "I'm so proud of you, Angel so proud. I knew you could do it and no one deserves it more than you do. My precious angel, so proud", Jeongguk mumbled against his lips.
Taehyung's eyes watered because he was so happy, so freaking happy to have Jeongguk by his side. He never wanted to be apart of him again. But there was no one left who could do it. Minho was gone, slaughtered by the one he has once tormented.
Killed by the one he underestimated and thought of as fragile and easy. Who was nothing but it, regained health with the help of his soulmate and coming back to destroy the one attempting to do the same exact thing to him.
Taehyung at the end has overcame his demons after all.
"I love you, Ggukie, without you, I wouldn't be able to do it. You're the one I was thinking about, you accepted your insanity so I accepted mine. I don't feel guilty, I did the right thing. I killed him to not only revenge myself but to save another person. I'm finally free, Ggukie", Taehyung whispered overwhelmed while Jeongguk stroked his cheeks.
"I love you so much, Angel. You and I together against the rest of the world, fuck their morals and fuck anyone who's against us. You're mine and I'm yours. And that's forever", Jeongguk whispered fondly to Taehyung who interlocked their lips together before they heard a breathy cry.
"Yoongi, isn't it great, he's finally wiped out from this ear- oh my living hell! Yoongi, is he your soulmate?!", Jeongguk squealed in joy when he saw the intimate embrace the men were in. Taehyung also squealed, almost fangirling because Yoongi finally found his Soulmate.
After so many years of being alone, wondering what he did to not have a soulmate, all of his pain vanishing from holding his soulmate.
"He's my soulmate", Yoongi choked out while Hoseok was still trembling in his arms and Taehyung hid his wide smile behind his hands because tears already formed in his eyes. It was a to be treasured moment and Taehyung hid it deeply in his heart.
"Congrats Yoongi Hyung", he whispered while Jeongguk was back hugging him, shooting a smile to the shy boy in Yoongi's arms. "You better make him happy", he falsely glared at him but was hit by Taehyung and winced. Hoseok threw Taehyung a look.
"Thank you... for saving me from this monster", he whispered out, voice a little bit tender and it reminded Taehyung of himself. Back when he was already under the unhealthy influence of Minho. He promised himself to take care of Hoseok's health. To help him heal just like these amazing people in his life helped him.
The moment couldn't be more perfect, Minho was gone and Hoseok and Yoongi united as soulmates. Taehyung and Jeongguk back together and promised to be forever together.
But they forgot about the abandoned soulmate.
Because their way too bright bubble of happiness bursted when the loud shrill sounds of police sirens rang through the room.
"No, no no no! NOT WHEN I JUST HAVE MY ANGEL BACK!", Jeongguk screamed absolutely furious before his head twisted to the window, eyes narrowing. "Who dared to interrupt us?", Jeongguk seethed annoyed before pulling Taehyung closer to him while Yoongi did the same to Hoseok.
"That must've been Taemin", Hoseok whispered out with trembling voice, grasping onto Yoongi tightly while Jeongguk has already started to panic. "They cannot catch us, no no no. Not you, not my Angel", Jeongguk murmured more to himself than to the other three standing around.
"He hates me for taking Minho's attention away from him. Please as if I ever wanted that", Hoseok whispered that and Taehyung nodded understanding. "Taemin hates me too and I think he felt that Minho's dead. He wants revenge", Taehyung said darkly while staring out of the window.
"You need to leave", Jeongguk suddenly spoke up, face void of any emotion while he let go of Taehyung who whined, trying to get back to Jeongguk but the raven held him away with now pained face. "Jeonggukie?", Taehyung called out confused with want in his eyes, need even.
"Tae, I think I know why they're here. They want to catch me. You didn't do anything and you will not be the one responsible for Minho's death. I will be ", Jeongguk said softly, Taehyung immediately shaking his head and going to cup Jeongguk's cheeks. "No. No! Ggukie, I won't let you do this-- it was me, I killed him. If it really is Taemin, then it should be me", Taehyung whimpered.
"We're running out of time, Angel. Let me do this for you. Let me protect you like I promised", Jeongguk mumbled before he threw Taehyung a sneaky smile. "It's not like I won't be able to break out. They need me alive, I made sure of it if they could ever catch me that they cannot kill me", Jeongguk explained silently while police officers already stormed into the house.
Tears streamed down Taehyung's face. "But you, my lovely pretty Angel, you'd be prey for them and I'd rather get caught then have you put back into a prison. You deserve freedom more than I do", the maniac mumbled.
Jeon Jeongguk, the selfish insane clown prince of Korea was choosing the safety of someone else over his own. He has changed, for his Angel, the one he loved the most and will forever love. "I love you, Taehyung. Please let me do this for yo, pretty Angel", Jeongguk murmured while Taehyung cried and cried, shaking his head over and over again.
"They'll kill you if Taemin tells them... he must've put two and two together, soulmates can feel the death of the other. He'll turn insane too, thirsting after your death and I cannot allow that. I'll get rid of him for you", Jeongguk promised, his words sounding so reasonable yet so painful to Taehyung.
"Can you do this for me, Angel? Be strong for me one more time?", Jeongguk asked Taehyung who sobbed loudly before closing his eyes. There was only a tiny nod of confirmation which made him burst into tears.
"I won't let them take you away from me like this. I'll revenge you, my Love", Taehyung promised heatedly before interlocking their lips into a last kiss.
Jeongguk smiled sadly before his eyes turned pitch black.
"I know you will, Angel."

Jeongguk walked down the stairs, alone, his steps heavy on the stairs. He reached the hall, reached the one who has already crumbled like dead leaves, a sobbing mess on the ground with one hand over his heart. Lee Taemin just wanted to be loved by Minho, the sick twisted monster who was the actual maniac, unlike Jeongguk.
The raven showed no pity but a single look of understanding flashed through his eyes before he lifted one gun and shot Taemin into the head.
Police officers swarmed him, forcing him to the ground and screamed at him for being such a monster, arresting him for multiple murders but all Jeongguk could do was smile. As they pulled him up and dragged him towards a police car, forcing him inside.
As they cuffed his hands and beat him up until he was coughing up blood.
Because he knew that his Soulmate was safe, Taehyung was safe and that was everything Jeongguk has ever wanted.
Everything Jeongguk has wished for was for Taehyung to not be breakable anymore.
(There will only be an epilogue after that)
