"So once this gets done i'm gonna need you to-" Sawyer and Matt's conversation was interrupted by the sound of screams and laughter. Sawyer turned around confused "Just give me one second Matty"
Matt nodded and Sawyer walked over to where everyone crowded. She pushed through the crowd trying to see what they were laughing at
Sawyer saw Peta, Cole and Jasper all looking out in the lake. Sawyer hid her laugh as she saw Jaha in the middle of the lake on a bed
"All right. We've had our fun. Let's get back to work" Sawyer said turning around to everyone who crowded around. Everyone laughed before walking off
"You 2, you should be organizing the food shelves" Sawyer said looking to Peta and Cole. The kids groaned before walking off, Sawyer faked a smile as she walked over to the front gate. She let out a sigh as she looked into the cloudy mountains
"What's with the 'we're all gonna die' face? I mean-" Sawyer turned around to see Monty. "I know what you mean" Sawyer mumbled not wanting to hear the boy stumble to change his words
"Bellamy should be back by now" Sawyer said biting her lip as she continued to stare out into the distance. Her anxiety was rising slowly the longer he was away
She took a deep breath before turning around to go back to Matt. Monty frantically rushed to follow the moving blonde.
"Hunting parties go radio-silent, it's nothing new" Monty said shaking his head as the 2 fell into line together, Sawyer's face didn't change she still looked upset making Monty nudge her "What else?"
"I just feel useless. I can't just stop radiation and it makes me feel- I don't know." Sawyer confessed "Your pregnant Sawyer"
Sawyer turned to the boy confused at how he knew "Raven told me, and your kinda growing" Monty said awkwardly, Sawyer laughed
"I'm stuck here in case anyone needs a cut bandaged, supervising the backup plan when I should be going to the island to make Nightblood" Sawyer said frustrated
"Sawyer, you're not a geneticist" Monty said shaking his head "Neither is Clarke" Sawyer said annoyed that the blonde was selected and not her
"Yeah. Well, they have your Dad. Genetic code, computer code. They'll figure it out" Monty said blowing it off. Sawyer stopped "Monty im serious" "Yea, so am I" Monty said stopping turning to her
"If Jaha's right and Becca created Nightblood there, they'll find her records, and all they have to do is reverse-engineer it from Luna. Everyone lives"
"If they can get it done before the radiation gets here" Sawyer said sighing
"I guess we better finish the ship" Monty says turning to ark station where tons of people were fixing panels and drilling screws. Matt walked up to the 2
"Matt, how's it coming?" Monty asked smiling at the blonde
"We're on schedule here. We should have the radiation patch up before dark" Matt reassured. Sawyer nodded "Good job Matt"
"See? One less thing to worry about" Monty said nudging Sawyer
The sound of lighting made everyone's heads turn to the sky. "All right. Everyone inside, just like we practiced. Go!" Sawyer screamed directing everyone
"Let's go come on!" Sawyer screamed holding the vault door open as everyone flooded inside the door
"Black rain! Sound the alarm! This is not a drill!" Matt yelled helping Sawyer direct the frantic crowd. Getting everyone inside was chaotic but once everyone was in Sawyer began pulling the vault door to close it only for her to see Jasper slowly walking closer. Her heart stopped, Jasper was out there
"Jasper! Come on!" Monty screamed looking at his best friend. He stopped walking and held his arms out waiting for the rain. "Jasper what are you doing!" Sawyer cried looking at the boy
"Can't live your life in fear" Jasper said smiling, "Jasper you need to run" Sawyer screamed. Jasper held out his tongue and the rain started falling. Sawyer and Monty took off sprinting only to be held back by Matt and Harper
Monty was pulled back but Sawyer broke out of Matt's grip "No! I'm not leaving him" the girl cried
Sawyer took off sprinting her hands flew over her head to try and cover her from the rain. Jasper was choking and convulsing while Sawyer ran to him, Monty was screaming in Harper's arms as their pregnant leader ran to save his best friend
Matt pulled everyone else away from the door as they watched Sawyer sprinting over to Jasper
Jasper fell over holding his neck as he choked. Sawyer dropped down "Come on Jasper" she yelled trying to pick up his weight but his body continued to go limp making it difficult. The adreneline that coursed through her veins didn't even allow her to process the fact that the rain falling didn't burn her skin
"The sky is-"
"Jasper we need to go!" Sawyer cried picking him up
"The sky is falling. Whoo!" Jasper screamed throwing his arms up happily as he suddenly acted fine
"It's just rain, not radioactive ash" Jasper yelled laughing. Anger filled Sawyer "I'm fucking pregnant you idiot!" the girl screamed slapping Jasper across the face
Jasper's face fell "I fucking risked my life to save you and you do this" Sawyer cries defeated. She turns around and runs off, Sawyer climbed into the vault breathing heavy
Cole and Peta were quick to push through the crowd and wrap the girl in a blanket leaving a confused Jasper on the ground in the rain

Sawyer was overwhelmed, she was beginning to feel like it was her only emotion at this point. People were starting to find out about her pregnancy and it was putting pressure on the girl to rush and tell her Cole and Peta before anyone told them
Bellamy still hadn't gotten back yet and his radio went dark so Sawyer had no contact with the Father to be. Sawyer had requested for the guards to retrieve Cole and Peta so she could tell them about the baby. Sawyer walked down the hall heading to her office
She clicked in the code on the key pad. She opened the door and stepped forward
"Sawyer wait!"
Sawyer looked up confused to see Monty and Jasper. Sawyer gasped when she heard an explosion, her face was splattered with high pressure foam . Sawyer gasped spitting the foam out of her mouth, pushing the foam out of her eyes
"Really" the girl yelled angrily as she reached for a rag that sat on the huge table in the middle of her office. Sawyer wiped her face with the rag
"I found your list. I guess we know who really matters to you" Jasper says storming towards the girl with a paper "Jasper" the girl said out of breath
"You're not God, Sawyer. Your starting to act like Clarke! You don't get to decide who lives or dies" Jasper yells. "The list is a backup. We have a-" Sawyer started only to be cut off
"Well, I guess you don't mind if I tell everyone, then, right?" Jasper said rushing over to the intercom. "No Jasper!" Monty yelled trying to stop him
"People have a right to know that they're working for nothing" Jasper said reaching for the mic
Sergeant Miller and 3 guards came storming into the room for Sawyer's defense "Sawyer, is everything alright?" Mr.Miller questions looking around at the 3
"Not for you. You're not on the list" Jasper said lifting the paper, "What list?" Sergeant Miller asks confused. Jasper pushed Monty out of the way and clicked on the intercom
"Attention, Arkadia. I have an announcement that could affect everyone-" Sawyer instantly pulled out Miller's guard stick, she clicked the button and shocked Jasper sending the boy to the ground seizing
"Jasper, you okay? Jasper" Monty yells rushing down to the ground
"He broke into my office. Lock him up" Sawyer demands to Sergeant Miller. He looks at her unsure before saying "As you wish Chancellor"
Sawyer hid her surprise at the name while Miller and the guards lifted Jasper taking him out the room. Sawyer let out a deep breath before turning to Monty
"Monty-" Monty cut her off "Don't- just don't" the boy said before storming out the room. Sawyer let out a sigh as she stared at her clothes in disgust
"What happened?" Cole said walking into the office Peta behind him as he looked around at the mess that was now her office. Sawyer sighed as she held back tears
"I wish I could explain" Sawyer said turning to look at the 2. "What did you need to tell us?" Peta asked confused
"Let me get cleaned up" Sawyer said taking off her jacket that was covered in foam. Sawyer turned around to see Cole and Peta sitting together on the couch looking unsure at the girl who was cleaning foam out of her hair
"I have something to tell you guys" Sawyer said nervously
Sawyer took a deep breath before spitting it out. "I'm pregnant" both kids' jaws dropped before a squeal left Peta. The 11 year old jumped on Sawyer screaming in happiness
Sawyer laughed as she caught the brunette hugging her. "Oh my god" Cole said in shock as he jumped up from the couch and ran over hugging the girl as well. Sawyer laughed as she held both of them

Sawyer waited outside for Monty to walk out of ark station. Sawyer's heart raced when she saw him walking towards her
"Monty-" Sawyer started only to be cut off "Jasper's fine, in case you cared" Sawyer let out a sigh "I do care, I just checked on him"
"Can we talk in private, please?" Monty nodded and Sawyer led him over to a corner
"It wasn't easy making that list, it was probably one of the hardest things i've ever done. I only had so many slots for engineers. You're an apprentice. Jaha's more knowledgeable about the ship. He's more experienced, and Raven I-" "That's what you think this is about? Sawyer, I get why you didn't put me on the list. I may have even agreed with it. It's just, who are you? When did you become this person? You have always been the one to say Clarke's morals were wrong and here you are doing the same thing Clarke would have done!" Monty ranted pointing judgmentally at the blonde
"I haven't changed, i've been trying my hardest to deal with everything thrown my way" Sawyer said tears filling in her eyes
"The Sawyer I know wouldn't be arresting her friends, she wouldn't be deciding who lives and who dies that has never been you! You think with your heart and not with your head" Monty yelled, he was angry. He had never been angrier at the girl ever since he met her
Monty and Sawyer's friendship was always underrated, they always had such a mutual respect for each other so for Monty to be so upset hurt Sawyer in a way she never expected
"Kane told me that we needed to keep this quiet" Sawyer cried
"Kane isn't here. That's just an excuse. You're the one saying, you live and Harper dies. You're the one shock-batoning Jasper, then arresting him. You're the one going too far and using the same old justification it's all for my people" Monty mocked
"It is!" Sawyer yelled "I know you think people will freak out, but if you just tell everyone the truth, maybe they'll surprise you" Monty said calmly "Monty, it's too risky" Sawyer said shaking her head
"Jasper was right. You're not God" Monty spit before rushing past her. Sawyer stood there trying not to cry
"I have an announcement to make. Sawyer Jameson has been lying to you"
"No" Sawyer mumbled as she limped away from the corner, Monty was using the rover intercom to speak. "Monty no!" Sawyer cried as everyone started gathering around to listen to Monty
"Arkadia will only save 100 people. Who thinks they made the list? Chris Jameson, Abby Griffin-" Sawyer bit her lip as Monty read off the list
"Thelonious Jaha, Raven Reyes, Octavia Blake, Peta Settman, Cole Jameson, Atlas Rush-"
Sawyer looked down as everyone gave her judgmental stares. When she looked up her eyes found Atlas who was staring at her with sadness. Sawyer gulped, she hadn't spoken to the boy since their argument days ago
Monty continued reading off the list

"I didn't survive the Ice Nation just to die because you think I'm not good enough" Matt yelled. Sawyer hid her sadness as she held on a front as the crowd surrounded her expressing their complaints
"Matt, you're smart and one of my good friends, but you were training to be a guard on the Ark. We only need so many soldiers" Sawyer responded
"You're telling me that Darcy is more qualified than me? She's a trainee, too, and I'm a hell of a lot better shot, no offense" Matt said stepping closer to the girl
"I know this is hard to take in, but to ensure the survival of the human race, the list had to be weighted towards young women who can have children" Sawyer yelled out "Wait. What? It's because she can have kids? How's that fair?" a engineer trainee named Hayes complained
"It's not fair I understand but it's smart and the way the list needed to be wrote" Sawyer justified. "Oh yea what about Harper?"
Sawyer dreaded turning around but she did, Harper stood their arms crossed over her chest. Sawyer looked at her sadly
"I had you on the list Harper but Clarke made me take you off because there's a chance you could be a drain on medical resources" Sawyer explained "I'm not sick" Harper said offended "Not yet" Sawyer said sadly
"You went into her medical records!" Monty yelled
"You're condemning me for an illness that I might have someday?" Harper said in disbelief. "I needed to consider all variables" Sawyer says fiddling with her fingers to ease her anxiety
"That's rich for a person who put herself on the list" Harper said glaring at her. "I didn't-" Sawyer started only to stop herself, she had no words because Harper was right
"And Bellamy Blake? I mean come on" a man said in disbelief. Sawyer glared at him
"Of course Clarke and Bellamy should be included" Atlas said stepping up deciding to help his ex-bestfriend that was under heat
"Strong leadership is essential for survival. All right. You don't like the list. Consider it shredded. Now, we can keep fighting each other and die, or we can work together and give everyone a shot at survival, your choice" Atlas said standing next to Sawyer
"Meaning what?" Monty asked confused
"We hold a lottery" Atlas responds
"Randomly choose the 100 people to survive, but you have to work for it every day. You don't show up for your assignments, you can't be in the lottery, and when the time comes, we'll collect the names, and we draw" he continued. Atlas looked around to see people agreeing
"Good, then it's settled. Now, that radiation shield is ready. Who's gonna help me put it in place? Let's get it done" Atlas commanded. Everyone had different cheers in agreement as Atlas directed them back to the ship
Sawyer stood their speechless as everyone walked away. "What did you just do?" Sawyer said in shock turning to the boy
"Sawyer, you have always been the one to install hope in these people. For them to hear that you are condemning certain people to death, they don't have that token of hope" Atlas explained
"You have to know that a random lottery is risky. We could end up with no doctors, no engineers" Sawyer explained
"I just gave them hope and a reason to work I never said we had to hold the lottery" Atlas shrugged walking away

"Hey any word from Jaha did they find Bellamy's unit!" Sawyer asked eagerly rushing into the hangar bay
"Yea, they are back and we forgot to tell you" Monty said sarcastically as he pushed past the frantic blonde. Sawyer took in a deep breath trying to keep her cool
Bellamy's hunting party was declared missing and Sawyer was a wreck without the freckled brunette. "hei Ai lukot (Hey my friend)" Sawyer gave a light smile as she wrapped her arms around Niylah
"Niylah, thank you again for helping us so much" Sawyer said as she pulled away from the girl. "Of course ai strik heda (of course my little leader)" Niylah said pinching the blonde's cheeks
Sawyer laughed and pushed the girl off. Niylah had been a life saver for Arkadia recently which made both blondes a lot closer
"Sawyer!"
Sawyer turned her head at the sound of Harper's cry. Harper came in holding someone Peta rushing behind her
"Octavia?" Sawyer spit out confused at the sight of the dark hair
Sawyer took off sprinting "She's not breathing" Peta cried. "Get her on the table!" Sawyer yelled as she rushed over to the closest table
Sawyer and Peta slid everything off letting it fall to the floor while Harper gently placed the injured Blake on the cold surface
"There's a stab wound in her belly. She's soaked in blood" Harper informed as Sawyer held Octavia's head
"Okay. First things first" Sawyer said trying to calm nerves down so she could focus. Sawyer began softly counting as she started chest compressions "1, 2, 3, 4"
A grounder walked in making Sawyer confused "Who are you? How did this happen to her?" the girl asked as she continued to push on Octavia's chest
"Ilian kom Trishanakru" the boy explained
"I was on my way home from Polis when I found her" Sawyer took a deep breath as she opened Octavia's mouth. She blew the air in before putting her ear to her mouth to see if the girl took in the oxygen. She didn't so Sawyer tried again blowing air into Octavia's mouth
Sawyer did it 3 more times everyone watching her anxiously as she rushed to save her. Octavia let out a low cough making Sawyer's head shoot up. Octavia let out a breath making Sawyer sign in relief
"Okay. Get her to medical now!" Sawyer yelled to the people who watched "Getting her here saved her life. Thank you" Sawyer said lightly to Ilian. Octavia started freaking out, Sawyer lifted her head holding the girl's face
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, shh, it's okay. It's okay. You're okay. Octavia, you've lost a lot of blood, but you're home now. I'm gonna help you" Sawyer comforted
Monty and Peta came running over with a gurney
"Azgeda's coming" Octavia whispered making Sawyer's brows furrow in confusion. "What is she talking about?" Peta questioned getting closer to the table
"Azgeda is coming. Army- marching" Octavia's eyes started rolling back making Sawyer's heart pick up again. "No, no, O please stay with me" Sawyer begged holding up the girl's head
"War is here"
Sawyer's eyes widened at Octavia's words before she finally passed out. "Take her, go!" Sawyer yelled frantically
Peta, Monty and a medical trainee instantly rushed to get the Blake on the gurney. Sawyer's heart was pounding as she started frantically screaming in her brain
"Start an I.V, blood and fluids, and- and get a suture kit ready" Sawyer instructed to the team carrying Octavia away. "Monty wait" Sawyer said pulling him back
"Hey, I have to do this, but get Kane on the radio. Find out exactly what's going on" she instructed. Monty nodded "On it" before running off behind the medical team
Harper stood there frozen in shock, Sawyer pulled the girl out of her trans
"Harper, hey, look at me. Convene the guard. Miller's dad is ranking officer. If Azgeda's coming, we need to plan our defense, okay? I'll be there as soon as I can"
"Ok" Harper said shaking before she took off
"Niylah, I could use the help" Sawyer yelled as she took off running out of the hangar bay
