The next day
Aïda pov
I actually have been working on a garden for some time now. I want it to be a fruit and vegetable garden. I'm so proud of my work.
It is a pretty cute garden and it is a perfect place to relax. Since I have done all this hard work I have decided to do a little shopping. I prepared myself to go out.
I go and get my car and get in. Normally I'm not at legal age at all to drive but I actually had to learn to drive because on the side of high school I've also been taking some business classes because my mom wants me to take over the business, the business is a food business, my mom invented this genuis idea and now everybody loves it. It's really healthy to. So I hop in my car and open the garage.
I start driving and I actually go all the way to Beverly Hills. I stop by this jewellery store named buccellati, I walk in I actually have a private nesting with the manager, I have millions on my card so quantity is not a problem. I am greeted by a short white man with a huge bald spot on his head. He smiles and says
"Miss Sy?"
I nod and he smiles and says
"What can I help you with today?"
I smile and say
"Hi, I want to take a look and your regular jewelry and then a private session for your high jewellery"
He nods and says
"Right this way please"
I smile and follow him.
Later
I am in quite a dark room which is also quite lavish, I am sitting face to face with the manager as he says
"Now to the high jewellery, you have very beautiful ebony skin so you should have no problem matching with the jewels here"
I smile and say
"Thank you"
He takes a key and opens a key and takes out multiple jewellery. I get up and look around and pick out one
He smiles and says
"Excellent choice madam"
I smile and say
"Add it to the list"
He nods and I try on a bunch of other high jewellery.
Later that day
Aïda pov
I drive back to freeridge and people stare at my car. This is the first time I drive this car in here so I guess they are shocked somewhat. I quickly drive home and take my shopping and quickly go inside, I have that one house that's at the top of the hill so it's actually quite private. I put my new jewellery in my closet
I order some pizza and invite Monse, Ruby, Jamal, Cesar and Jasmine over. I sit on the couch and wait.
A couple minutes later
Aïda pov
Everybody else is here except for Cesar. I hear a loud knock on the door and Ruby says
"I'll get it"
He runs to get it and his facial expression soon quickly changes. Cesar walks in and smiles at us and guess who is behind him? Oscar!! I mean I have never been the type to be quickly angry so I smile sweetly and welcome them in. Oscar whistles and says
"Damn princesa, your parents must have money"
I smile slightly and we sit down. Monse says
"We were just watching a movie"
Everybody gets comfortable and starts talking. I can't seem to get Oscar's state off of me. Monse says
"Hey can we talk?"
I nod and I say
"Let's go upstairs"
We go in my bedroom and
She gasps and says
"Your parents are rich"
I laugh and say
"Whatcha wanna talk about?"
She says
"Have you witnessed the way Oscar stares at you?"
I say
"He's crazy"
She laughs and she checks inside my closet. She says
"Wow, amazing"
Oscar knocks and says
"Your pizza is here"
I nod and Monse and I go downstairs. I take the pizza mans money and say
"Thanks"
He leaves and I close the door. Ruby says
"Let's play truth or dare"
Later in the game
Oscar is sitting on the sofa but we made a circle and my turn comes for Monse to ask me a question. She says
"Ok where are your parents? Why do we never see them?"
I say
"Can I lie?"
They scream no and laugh. I smile and say
"Well umm"
Cesar says
"Tell us"
I say
"Fine. My mother is back in Africa, I live here alone"
They look at me with their mouth wide open and Monse says
"You mean all of this is yours?"
I nod and she says
"Wait? Your rich?"
I say
"We're comfortable"
Ruby says
"No way!!"
I smile and he says
"What are behind those doors?"
He points to the garden and I say
"Go and check"
He gets up and opens the door and looks at the garden. He says
"Guys come see this!"
Monse laughs and giggles and says
"It has fruits and vegetables and ponds and everything's"
Oscar looks at me and says
"So princesa, this is what you have been hiding"
I say
"Maybe"
Monse says
"What's in the closet"
I say
"Nothing"
They run to my closet and I sigh. I sit on the couch and he says
"So, you have money, why hide it?"
I say
"No reason"
He looks at me and holds my hand. I gasp and he says
"You wanna know something?"
He makes me sit on his lap and says
"You may have money but that doesn't change anything between us"
I look at him and say
"What is it about me that has you so hooked?"
He smiles and says
"People mostly marry for unimportant reasons, some for others. But there is always this rare number of people who find their soulmate, the people that they can spend the rest of their life with..."
He rubs his hands on my arms and kisses my neck.
"I have found that one, the person who is gonna be mine forever, but I'm not like others..."
He turns me around so I am facing him and he whispers
"I'm a dangerous man, Aïda. I've never fallen in love before but let me tell you. Your mine. I will kill for you and I won't let another Puto get you. Don't forget it"
I look at him and he holds my chin and says
"Understand?"
I gulp and nod. What did I get myself into?
