*Lunch Time*
I walked into the cafeteria seeing if I could find Jaden.
"Aye bro who you scouting" Josh yelled
"No one" I said sitting down
"Yeah no one my ass. You don't be looking for no one like that" he said peeling his orange
I had got up pretending to go get food. I don't be eating this food, I usually go get something after school before open gym or practice. I was hoping Jaden would call my name if she saw me walking. A good 5 10 minutes later I was walking back to my seat. I don't think she has this lunch.
"Looking for me" A voice said
I turned so fast, thinking it was Jaden
"Nah not you." I said rolling my eyes
"J don't be like that" Madysen had said
"I don't get why you wont get over it, we dated and broke up freshman year" I said laughing walking away
"Jalen"
"Madysen just leave me alone. I been told you I was done 2 years ago." I said turning around
"Yeah my name isn't Madysen and i'm pretty sure I haven't known you for 2 years" Jaden said with a smile
Shes so little and innocent.
"Oh i'm sorry Jaden. My ex had just came up to me thinking I was looking for her." He said a little irritated
"awe its okay" she said while rubbing my arm
"So you was looking for me" she said with a smirk
"Yeah I was" I said nervously
"That's cute. Im sitting over there if you wanna come" she said pointing with a group of guys
"Who you sitting with" I said nodding over there
"Well i'm sitting with my best friend but he brought his friends over there. They're so obnoxious I don't know how he deals with them." She said rolling her eyes
'Well i'm sitting with my bros too, but they're cool, they're funny" I said giving her a smile
"Okay ill go grab my stuff" she said as she walked away
As she grabbed her stuff Eric had looked at me looked at her and he just shook his head. She sat down next to him hugged him gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked towards me.
"Hey if it's a problem you don't have to come over here. I want you to but I don't want to start anything you have going on between you two." I said
"No its okay, hes just overprotective" she said
"Okay well just follow me" I said as I started to walk
"So why am I always following you, why ain't you following me" she said getting in front of me
"Because you don't know where to go" I said laughing
"So just guide me" she said while putting my hands on her waist
You can feel all her curves. You can tell she ain't like those girls that have a good body and wants to show it off. I had brought her to the table and I already knew all hell was about to break loose.
"J you already got a new girl friend" Josh said while laughing
"Nigga my last girl friend was freshman year, don't play me. But guys this is Jaden, shes new" I said
"Oh this is the shorty you were looking for" Josh said eyeing me
"Ya'll can call me J. I don't remember the last time someone actually called me "Jaden"" she said while laugh
"You have a pretty laugh" Dior had said
"Yeah your friends are way better" she said looking at me

Lunch was about to be over so I went to go throw my trash away. I came back and I could feel eyes on me. I looked around and this girl was staring. You know how when you catch someone staring they're suppose to look away? Yeah home girl didn't. I brushed it off and grabbed my back pack
"So you gonna give me your number now" Jalen said as he helped me put my back pack on
"yes" I said grabbing his phone
I put my number in and I had texted myself.
"Ill text you" I said as I walked away
" Wait Jaden, there's still 5 minutes left of lunch" he said
"Well then we can finish our conversation we were having earlier" I said as I motioned for him to come
He got up super happy. Hes so cute. We were walking through the halls talking about everything. He told me about the Madysen chick. He told me why him and Eric were kinda lowkey on the outs. I told him almost everything about me. But what can you say within 5 minutes you know. We separated once the bell rang. I walked into my chemistry class. I HATE science. I had Eric in this class but I don't think he likes me right now. I sat next to him and he didn't talk to me the whole class period. I would poke him and nothing he would just slap my hand away. So I let him be. I guess i'm taking the bus home.
I was in my last class and I probably text Eric so many times and I got nothing. I walked out the school gate and waited for the bus with all these other kids. I was scrolling through Instagram and I heard my name being called. I looked up and it was Jalens little group.
"Hey guys" I said as I hugged them
"What you about to do" Jalen said
"Im just gonna go home" I said
"We're gonna go get something to eat before open gym if you wanna hangout for a bit." He said pointing towards his group
"okay i'm down, where we going" I said walking towards them
"What do you want" Josh said poking me
"Sonic" I yelled
"What you be getting from sonic" Jalen laughed
"A chicken tender sandwich with a strawberry limeade" I proudly say
"That's where well go then" Jalen said getting in the car
Jalen was driving josh went to the passenger side and then Dior and I were in the back.
"Nah Jaden get in the front" Jalen said
"Jalen its okay, not trying to ruin tradition here" I said still getting in the back seat
"I like her" Josh said with a cheesy smile
"I call aux then" I said grabbing the aux
"Now shorty do not get on my bad side. I get the aux." Josh said taking the aux cord from me
I just sat back and enjoyed the ride
We got to sonic and I paid for my stuff
"I could have paid for you" Jalen said with his card in his hand
"Its okay I got it" I said showing him my card
"Yes not another groupie" Josh said with his hands in the air
"So all you guys hoop" I said sitting down
They all nodded
"So all you guys know Eric" I said while looking at my phone
They all nodded again
"Okay i'm gonna be back" I said as I got up to call Eric back
Eric had facetimed me but I didn't answer it that's why I walked away
Facetime call :
Bestie : Where are you
Me: Im at sonic with Jalen Josh and Dior
Bestie: Aug, come on. You have to be careful
Me: i'm being careful. What do you want?
Bestie: Im sorry about earlier, it just doesn't sit right with me that you're hanging out with a group of guys and i'm not there.
Me: Anthony i'm okay I promise. You know I would call you first if anything. Im okay
Bestie : Alright then Aug let me know when you get home. Im gonna be at open gym but you know ill text you in between time outs.
Me: I will, have fun. Love you bye
Bestie: Be safe, love you bye
After we ate and talked, Jalen took me home and it was probably around 5:30ish. The boys had open gym at 6.
"Thank for today, I had a great day" I said to Jalen as I hugged him
"Thank you for today as well. Ill see you tomorrow" he said as he kissed my cheek wishing it was my lips.
I walked inside and went to my room to text Eric that I was home. I took a good long shower, put on lotion underwear and a sports bra and just laid down. I was scrolling through Instagram and I could feel myself fall asleep. I texted Eric one more time to say good night and that's when I got a message that made me want to stay up
Green: Can we facetime when I get home?
Me: Uhm you can call me when you get home.
Your message kinda woke me up lol
Green: Awe that's okay, im sorry.
Me: You can call me still
Green: Okay good, ill try to hurry home
Me: Be careful getting home though
I think his timeout was over because I didn't get a text back. I tried to stay up for him but I was so tired for some reason. I fell asleep 15 minutes after I texted him.
*45 minutes later *
Incoming call : Green
Green: Did I wake you up
Me: Yes
Green: Im sorry ill see you tomorrow.
Good night
Me: Just fall asleep on the phone
with me
I didn't even hear anything he said cause I instantly fell asleep.
