I wake up in the morning looking forward into going to school. Not only is it the first day of my junior year but I'm finally going to school with my best friend Eric again! You see, I haven't been to the same school as my best friend since we were in middle school. But even though we were at different high schools him and I stayed closer together than ever. That's my other half right there. I hurry and get ready. I put on just a basic black t-shirt some ripped jeans with my bred 11s. I can do both I promise. As I was doing my hair, Eric facetimed me.

"YEESSS !" I screamed

"Woah, calm down down" He said as he was driving

"What have I told you about texting and driving or calling and driving? Its dangerous"

"I was just telling you that i'm almost there and I got you sonic so its okay if you didn't eat" While getting out the car

"Yous so sweet. Just walk in" I said as I was finishing my baby hairs

My whole family has been #TEAM ERIC. We tried dating freshman year but it was just weird for us, feelings were mutual. He got too many girls surrounded by him anyways. His mom on the other sided I don't really know if she ever liked me. I used to get him in trouble a lot cause he would walk me home and it would be like 8 or 9 at night. But ehh its okay.

"Can you hurry? How we gonna be late on the first day" He said throwing my food at me

"Beauty takes time" I said putting on my earrings and my favorite bracelet he had gave me

"you can throw on some sweat pant, a hoodie, a messy bun and lord you'll still look beautiful" he said while grabbing my hand

"why don't you just leave this on" he had said while looking at the bracelet

"I don't wear it in the shower and last night after taking a shower, I knocked out naked" I said while whispering the last part

He just laughed as he grabbed my back pack and walked out the room.

"Bye babies" my mom said while giving me a kiss on the cheek

"Bye mama" I said hugging her arm while she kissed my cheek

"Have a good day Mrs.August" Eric said while opening the front door for my mom

"What have I told you about calling me that?" she said while giving him the eye

"Don't call you that because I've known you forever" he said while smiling

"Okay I have to go, drive safe" she said while leaving

I locked the door and I got into the car. Eric put his hand on my thigh, and I had put my hand on top of his hand. We have been doing this ever since he started driving.

"So you gonna play football this year?" I said while grabbing his drink

"Yeah I think so, it looks good for me with all these scouts" he said as he grabbed his drink from me

"And you're gonna do basketball?" I said getting on snapchat

He just nodded

"I don't get how you do that. Im so tired after basketball season, I barely want to do club" I said

"I mean i've been doing that since we were in middle school. Do cross country basketball then track. But now in high school its football, basketball, then track" he said with a smirk
