Alex's POV
I was making the meatballs, in spaghetti and meatballs, when Alec came behind me, and wrapped his arms around my waist. He rested his head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear.
"Mmmmmm, smells good." he whispered, smelling my hair.
I wasn't sure if he was talking about me, my hair or the food, but I didn't really care. His touch was making me go insane!! My whole body felt electrified and my knees felt weak. My brain just shut down, and my heart's beating really fast. He was turning me into mush with just a touch! I never thought any guy could be able to do that!
"D-does it?" I stammer, sounding like an idiot.
"Yep, amazing." he breaths in and out on my shoulder, and I suppress a shutter, at the feel of breath on my skin.
"Alec, this is not the time to do this. I'm cooking, and someone might see." I tell him, trying to get him off.
"No ones here, and stop cooking." Alec said, as if it were the most obvious answer in the world.
"Someone might come, and what are you gonna eat then, if I stop cooking?" I reply, trying not to fall for his charms.
It was very hard let me tell you. Especially, since I have an attraction to him, and we're mates. I also heard the full moons coming on Friday, this Friday, maybe that's why he's like this. I dunno.
"No ones gonna come, and mom can cook when she comes back." Alec says, pulling me, closer.
"Alec this is so not the time." I said, finishing the meatballs.
"What if I help you, then what?" he asks.
"Then, I'll be thankful." I tell him. He doesn't like that.
"No, I want a kiss." he said, blowing on my neck.
I suppress another shutter, as my body wants to go with him. I squish my urges, and get back to cooking.
"It's ok, I'll be done in a minute." I said, kissing his cheek.
He pouted playfully, but was a little sad. I smiled as I finished. (AN: Like I said, I can't cook squat, I should have mentioned that earlier, sorry!)
"Ok, done! Now your mom I'll probably scream again, like this morning." I frowned, as I remembered her squeals.
Alec laughs at my face, clearly amused. I shove him playfully, as I walk to my room, and start to get a notepad, and sit on the bed.
"Whatcha doing?" Alec asks, childishly.
"Making a list of what I should bring back here. I'm going to get some stuff from my house. I'm officially moving out." I tell him.
He sighs, and sits down, on the bed, with me, and takes my notepad away. I look at him, confused and curious.
"Alex, I really think you should talk to them. I know the neglected you for years but you said yourself, everything happens for a reason." Alec says, wisely.
"Are you kidding me?! Ever since I was 5 they they went on business trips on my Birthday! Ever since I was ten they stopped saying happy birthday and giving me presents! They never once spoke to me, after I was 10, and if they did they would talk formally as if I didn't know them! They never once scolded me or praised me when I did something wrong or good. They were never even there most of the time!" I yelled, crying.
Alec was shocked at my outburst but I couldn't see what he though afterwords because my eyes were blurred by my tears. He pulled me into his lap, and wrapped his arms around me. I cried into his shirt, I wrapped my arms around his torso and put my head in between the crook of his neck.
"Ever since my 10th birthday, me, Bells and Olive would go out, and have fun. It would be just us on my birthday. I'd wake up to my phone ringing ever morning, Stephanie would tell me she and John had gone on a business trip and they were sorry they didn't tell me. Then Bells and Olive would attempt to make breakfast but end up making cereal because that's all they can make. We'd go and have some fun, it changed from year to year, have lunch, then have fun at home, and they'd spend the nigh over, no matter what day of the week. It was our tradition." I gushed out to him, still crying.
"Shhh, Shhhhh. I'm sorry, it's ok. I don't know what I'm talking about. I didn't know all this, now that I know, I'm on your side." Alec says, shushing and relaxing me.
"Thanks. (hiccup), sorry, (hiccup) I put you through (hiccup) that." I told him.
He wiped my tears away, smiling down at me. He kissed my forehead and leaned in close.
"You can tell me anything, no matter what. I'll always be there for you. Promise." Alec promised me.
Mmmmmm. It felt nice to be able to have someone that'll listen, no matter what. I noticed our lips were only a few inches apart, and I leaned in closer, so that if I talked, our lips would brush.
"Thanks." I whispered, brushing our lips together.
I heard him moan, and I smiled. He pulled me closer and deepened the kiss. Our lips molded together and he licked my bottom lip, I pulled away. He groaned in exasperation.
"What now?!" he asked, frustrated.
"Nothing, it's just, I should go, Bells and Olive are leaving in a bit." I told him, pecking his lips again.
"They're not leaving right now, we have time." he said, leaning in closer.
His lips just brushed mine and then we heard someone calling me in the dorm. He groaned and I got off his lap, and straightened myself up, I left my room with Alec following me.
"Did someone call me?" I asked as I got into the living room.
Brendan, Suzy, Bells, Oscar, Olive, Em, Joe, and Pam, were all sitting in the living room talking, and having a good time.
"Yes, we did. Time to go, get our stuff." Bells said, playing with her keys.
"Ok, let's go. Em I already made dinner. I hope you guys don't mind spaghetti and meatballs, it was Alec's choice." I told them.
"Yes! I love your spaghetti and meatballs! I love all your cooking!" Bells squealed.
She and Olive got up, and hugged me. I laughed as I hugged them.
"Her cooking is amazing!!! I missed it so much! You guys are really lucky to have her food!" Bells goes on.
"Honey! You didn't have to make dinner! I was gonna do that. Thank you!" Em said.
"I told her that! She wouldn't listen." Alec said, wrapping his arms around my waist, from behind.
"I figured it would be easier on you. And if everyone says thank you, then it'll be worth it." I told them, smiling.
"Thank you!" everyone said, together.
"Yep, totally worth it." I said, smiling.
"Wait! Big Sis said she would play with me!" Suzy said.
Oh no! I completely forgot about that! What do I do? What do I do?
"Ok, when I come back we will! Ok?" I asked her.
"I have to go to Mary and Jess soon, tomorrow?" Suzy rescheduled.
"Sure, that's ok, with me." I said, kissing her on the cheek.
She smiled, and kissed my cheek too! She's really sweet, I thought. I can't believe I wasn't there for her for 4 years! I feel really bad, but it's our parents fault! Why couldn't at least have told me?!
"Lets go! I need to get my stuff!" I said, pulling Alec's arms off of me and running to the door.
Bells and Olive followed suit. We got to Bells into Bells car. We started talking, like crazy.
"We missed you so much!!!" Bells yelled.
"Aw, missed you too! Tell me what's been going on?!" I said and asked.
"Oh, not much. It's all been kind of boring without you! We really haven't done anything." Olive said.
"Oh, well my life has been way too eventful! I'll tell you all about it later." I told them.
They nodded, understanding. They probably got briefed on it by the protectors.
"Oh! We have something for you!!! We were gonna wait till your birthday but we decided to do it now, since you might need it now." Bells said.
"Really? What is it?" I asked, interested.
"When we get home, we'll tell you." Olive said.
Did I mention that Bells and Olive live next door to me. Shortly after the first guy moved, my other neighbor moved too, they wanted to live closer to their kids, who lived in Washington D.C. Bells and Olive moved after they left because they wanted to be closer to me. It's been like that since I was 8, I think, so almost 10 years now.
We parked at Bells house, and we all went to our house. We decide to meet up at Bells's house because the present was there. I went to my house, hoping Stephanie and John would be on another "business trip". I stepped inside and the house was quiet, like always. They weren't here. Yes!! I ran upstairs to my room.
I grabbed all my stuff, clothes, items I loved, pictures, everything, but my bed, closet and drawers. My room didn't have much, I wasn't a normal teenager. My room was clean, I had nothing at all on my walls, no bands, no hot guys, nothing. I kept a notebook of my writing, I added pages when I filled it up, under my bed, and I got it out. It had all of my feelings in there, ever since I was 10, I got it from Bells and Olive, the first birthday Stephanie and John, "forgot" my birthday.
I felt the tears spring into my eyes as I tried to block them, I quickly wiped the ones that got out, by accident, and ran out of the house. I grabbed my iPhone and called Olive.
"Hey? What's up?" Olive picked up.
"I'm heading to Bells house, are you there?" I asked.
"Yah, I've been there for a while now. What's wrong with your voice?" she replied.
My voice was husky from the unshed tears that I was trying to control. It was getting harder but I kept fighting them. I gained control of my tears and my voice.
"I'm coming, and there's nothing wrong with my voice." I told her, lying.
She sighed, I'd always been stubborn, and I had never told anyone much about myself. Bells and Olive had tried to get me to talk and we'd gotten into fights about it, but never got anywhere.
"Ok, open the door." I told her as I hung up, and reached Bells's door.
They were waiting outside. I raised an eyebrow, in question. Why were they waiting outside?
"Follow me to your present!!" Bells said, happily.
"We both put in some money for this, and we the best ever!! You'll love it!! Or we hope you do." Olive said, excitedly.
"I'm sure I'll love it but what is it?!" I asked, getting curious and anxious.
We went to her garage and there was a big blob with a tarp over it. I can't believe they did this!!! They would do this for me!!! No way!
"Guys, don't tell me!!! You got me a car!!!" I squealed, jumping up as down.
"Yep, we figured you needed it and since we were filthy rich, why not?!" Bells said.
"Wait, did you take this money out of the christmas account?!" I asked, getting mad.
"No!! Of course not!!! We would never!!!" Olive said, shocked that I would say that.
"Ok, just wondering." I said, putting my hand up in surrender.
I should probably explain. See every year we put in tons of money in an account for christmas. It's for the orphans, elderly, and needy, I've been doing this since I was 10, and Stephanie and John stopped monitoring me. We visit them every year at Christmas and hand presents out. It feels amazing to see their faces shine and light up in joy and happiness. I make sure that no one touches the account till Christmas, which is coming up.
Bells and Olive pulled the tarp off and I screamed in happiness, which caused then to laugh and cover their ears.
There, sitting in Bells's garage, was a shiny red Alfa Romeo!!! It looked amazing!!! (AN: Thanks ThatOrdinaryGirl for the idea!!!)
"It's amazing!!!! I love you guys!!!" I yelled, hugging them.
"We thought you might! Why don't we take it for a spin?" Bells said, jingling the keys, in her hands.
"Ok." I said, in a daze.
We put our stuff in my brand new car and drove to the pack house. It was awesome! The car purred to life and it was smooth ride there.
"I wanna show Alec!" I said, excited.
"Ok, call him." Bells said, smiling.
"I'll send him a mind message." I told her.
"You can do that? I though only pack members could?" Olive interjected.
"I am part of the pack. I'm Alpha Female. Plus me and Alec are True Mates." I told her.
They squealed, so loud my eardrums burst. They got so excited and were jumping up and down.
"You guys are TRUE MATES!!! I'm so happy for you!!!!" Bells shrieked.
"Yep, and thanks. Don't scream so loud." I told her, calmly.
::Alec? You there?::
::Yah, what's wrong?:: he thought, instantly alert.
::Nothing, I just wanted to show you something. Come outside::
::Ok. Coming. I also need to tell you something::
::Ok::
With that I ended the conversation. I pulled into the parking lot behind the pack house, and Alec came out. I got out of my car, and smiles at him.
"Look, this is my new car!!! You like?" I said to him, gesturing to my car.
"Alfa Romeo! I heard it's a sweet ride!! Can't believe you got it!!" He said.
"I know right?" I told him, hugging my cousins again.
"My cousins got it for me! It's awesome!" I continued.
"Yah!" he said, obviously stunned.
"Ok, what did you wanna tell me?" I asked.
"Oh, yah, our dates gonna have to be rescheduled. We have lots of thing to deal with, I'm sorry." he said, sadly.
I was kind of sad about it, but with the battle and the training, school, us being Alpha and Alpha Female, it's all getting in the way. I understood but was still sad.
"It's ok. I understand, we've got a lot of things to deal with, I know." I told him, smiling sadly.
"Wait, wait, wait. You two were planning to go on a date?!" Bells interjected.
"Yah, our first, but we've got lots of things to deal with right now, that it's too much. We'll go another time." I said.
"Stop. Stop, right there. Come with me." Bells said.
Bells grabbed Alec, and Olive grabbed me. They raced into the house, and to Alec's dorm. Everyone was there. Everyone meaning, Suzy, Brendan, Oscar, Pam, Em, and Joe. The conversation stopped as we entered.
"Did you guys know that Alec and Alex were planning to reschedule their first date?" Bells said.
"Bells, Shut up!" I hissed at her.
"What, why?" Em said, upset.
"There's just a lot going on, rouge battle, training, school, Alpha and Female Alpha duties. We have a lot to do, and we can't just leave one night for a date." I explain.
"We can hold down the fort till you come back." Oscar said, and everyone agreed.
"Yah, it'll be no problem. How hard can it be?" Olive says.
"I don't know, guys." I said, and ran a hand through my hair.
"Come on, Alex, Alec. What do you guys have to loose?" Brendan asks.
I stare at him, as if he's nuts. What do I have to lose? Hmmm, gee, I dunno, how about EVERYTHING!!!
"Ok, don't answer that. What I mean is, we can survive one night without you guys." Brendan tries again.
"Yah, it can't be that hard. Nothings gonna happen. Plus you two should have a day to relax." Bells added.
"Well." I said, wavering slightly.
"Guys, are you sure, it's gonna be ok, if we leave." Alec said.
Everyone assures us again, and I hesitate a little. Alec is on board with them taking care of everything for one night, but I'm not.
"Big Sis, go! Have fun!!" Suzy says, coming up to me.
I pick her up, and balance her on my hips. I kiss her cheek.
"You think I should go?" I ask her.
"Yes, yes." she says, eagerly.
I laugh at that. She's too cute! Everyone says it's ok, then I guess it will be.
"Ok, fine. We'll go." I say, giving in.
"YAY!" they all cheer, happily.
I laugh at that, and hug Suzy again. She smiles at me, and kisses my cheek. I check the time and it's 8:00pm
"Ok, I made dinner, I have enough for everyone. Let's go!" I say, walking to the kitchen.
"Yes!" Bells and Olive scream.
They're the only ones that have tried my spaghetti and meatballs, so they'll love it, but I'm not sure about the rest. I put Suzy in a chair, and get the spaghetti and meatballs. Everyone sits down and eats.
"Delicious!" Bells says, moaning.
"Amazing!" Olive said.
"Awesome!" -Oscar
"Delightful!" -Brendan
"Great!" -Alec
And many many more! Everyone loved it! They kept praising me all throughout dinner. It was really good on my self-esteem, which wasn't that high to begin with. Towards the end of dinner, they started talking about something other than my cooking.
"Em, Joe, can Bells and Olive stay in my room, we can have like a sleepover?" I asked.
"Sure, we don't mind. In fact, Brendan and Oscar were talking about coming over for a sleepover too. Pam is going to Brendan's dorm, for a sleepover with Pen, Sam, and Lauren, and we're going to talk with the elders all night. That means you six have the dorm to your self." Em said.
"Cool! Thanks, mom!" Alec said.
We all finished dinner and went out separate ways. Meaning, Em and Joe go to the elders, Pam goes next door, Brendan, Oscar and Alec go to Alec's room, Me, Bells, and Olive go to my room, and Suzy goes back to her dorm. I asked if she wanted me to come, but she said she could go by herself.
As soon as we got into my room, we changed, into our pjs. Me in an oversized black t-shirt and black short shorts, Bells in a pink t-shirt and pink shorts, Olive in light green t-shirt and dark green shorts. Those were our favorite, black, pink, light and dark green. It was kind of cool, but no one ever saw us.
"Let the sleepover begin!!!" I announce.
