A few weeks later...
Chloe's PoV
I wake up, groggy and fatigued.
Yawning, I grab my phone.
"Morning my little busy bees...today is...Saturday 29th of October...it is 9:00am..."
I smile as I sit up, "today...I am going to do my homework,go on a date with Luka and buy a proper vlog camera!"
That's right. I've started a vlog. It's been so fun interacting with my fans. I uploaded one last week and I got so much love and lots of recommendations from other vloggers too.
I go wash up and get changed. Then I start filming again.
"Breakfast time!" I wink at the camera. Heading out of my room, I see my dad and sing, "daddy~~~!"
"Morning little superstar!"
I hug him and address the camera, "everyone, my daddy is the best!"
"No, you are!"
I smile, hug him and then jog down, "I'll see you at breakfast!"
"Yes dear!"
Sitting at the table, I show the food.
"Pain au chocolat, tea, egg and toast! Looks delicious!"
As we sit down for lunch, daddy asks me, "so darling, how does it feel to have made it in the world on your own?"
Humming, I sip my tea and then say, "it feels worth it. I don't feel like I've abused any of my status and I really love singing for my fans..."
Daddy smiles, "I know you do...I can tell. The sparkle in your eyes."
I beam, "right!" He laughs and I giggle.
"Where's mom?" I ask.
"She's got some things this morning to deal with so she left early this morning."
"Ah..."
After breakfast, I help the staff clean up.
"Jean, can you come with me to meet Luka later?"
"Yes Madame Chloe!"
"Ahh, thank you!!!"
I then head back to my room and start recording again.
"Chemistry homework...ah I can't believe I used to hate this subject...shout out to my friend Mylène who helped me with this subject!"
I smile and do my homework. Eventually, it becomes 12:00pm. I put on my jacket and shoes.
"Everyone, what do you think of my outfit? I love it!"
As we head out I say to the camera, "we are heading to meet Luka, it is 12:13pm! Jean, would you like to say hi to my fans?"
"Ah, no, no it's ok, you're the star!"
"Ahhh, come on, say hi!" I smile at him pleadingly.
"Fine fine, hello, ah what do you call them?"
"My busy bees!"
"Ok, hello busy bees!" He chuckles and I smile.
We walk for a bit and I record a cute dog.
"Cuteee, what is it's name?"
"Meongie!" A little girl smiles.
"Ah cute! Hi Meongie!"
I pet it for a while and then I say bye to them. I turn the camera towards a crowd of people.
"Luka should be around the corner...hmmm...blue hair..."
Then I turn the camera back on me and fix my hair.
"He'll show up," I giggle, blushing at the thought of him.
At that moment, I see Luka in the camera behind me and turn.
"You!" I laugh.
Luka chuckles and hugs me, "hey bee..."
I kiss his cheek and ask, "what were you doing behind me?"
"I had to get something. A new guitar pick," he kisses my cheek and I smile, "by the way, what's with this set up?"
I laugh as he motions to my phone being in a selfie stick.
"Hey, it's just last minute!" I giggle as he cuddles me from behind. We admire eachother in the camera and then I say, "ah! Where are we eating again?"
"Follow me!"
He takes my hand and I giggle shyly. He laughs and connects our lips.
Jean coughs, "well, I'll be back to pick you up later Chloe..."
"Mmm, ok," I wave, "bye Jean! Thanks for bringing me here!"
"Mmm hmm..."
We walk for a bit and then I gasp as he leads me into a restaurant.
"I heard that you like Asian food?"
"Luka! How could you afford this?"
"I've been saving up for a while bee..."
"No fair, I HAVE to pay for some of it-"
"Bee, I saved up for this, no way in hell am I letting you pay today."
Pouting, I say, "in that case let's go somewhere cheaper! This place is crazy expensive!"
He refuses and eventually we sit in the restaurant.
I smile as he examines the menu, "what do you want to eat Chloe?"
"Maybe a teriyaki..."
"Ahah! The salmon one, right?"
"How?"
"You love teriyaki right, and the only other teriyaki is the chicken-garlic, the spicy-shrimp and the sweet-vegetable one. And I know for a FACT that you told me you love salmon."
Giggling, I say, "that's not anyway to know that I'd pick it..."
He laughs, "I know but also...you hate garlic, the spicy shrimp has wasabi with it and you hate wasabi, and you hate sweet things, right?"

...
"Are you a detective or something?" I laugh, "how scary!"
He laughs, "I just wanted to see if I really knew you well!"
I giggle, "how cute..."
He examines the menu then says, "I don't know what to get so should we share?"
I scoff, "that's so bold!"
He nervously chuckles, "o-or not..."
Giggling I say, "how about you get something else and we share these dishes..."
He nods, "ummm..."
I giggle as he scans the menu.
How cute...
I record his intensive search for something to eat when I suddenly see on the menu.
"Ramen."
"Hmm?"
"Chicken Tonkatsu Ramen?"
"...ok," he says, relieved.
I giggle and he laughs nervously.
I shuffle closer to him and kiss his lips quickly.
"Why are you nervous?"
He blushes, "well...it's our first proper date so I'm nervous that something will go wrong..."
"Oh Lukabear..." I softly giggle as I hold his hand.
A waitress comes over as I stop recording, "May I take your orders-oh! Y-y-you're c-chloe! A-and Luka!"
I laugh, "hi!"
"Ah, wow, I'm a big fan!"
"Ah thank you!" Luka smiles and she squeals. I smile.
Once she takes our orders, we take a photo with her.
"We're crazy famous now," I giggle. He nods at the window and I turn to see the press.
Groaning, I say, "did you not get a manager or something?"
"Umm, not yet. Jagged's given me more independency...ah, I didn't tell you! I should have my first single coming out next week!"
Excited, I ask, "ooh what's it called?"
"It's called...ah I shouldn't tell you yet!" he laughs.
"Awww, please Luka," I beg with my eyes.
"Ok...it's called...Permission..."

"Awww, will you sing it for me later?" I ask.
He smiles lovingly, "sure bee..."
Happily, I turn to the photographers and press and wave.
Luka laughs and does the same thing. Soon, people around us realise that we are here and try to get photos.
"Damn, remind me not to do that next time..."
"It's good, don't worry."
I smile as he kisses my cheek.
The manager and staff at the restaurant stop people from recording us. We thank them and eventually our food arrives. I start recording.
"Look at this yummy food!" I sing.
Luka grumbles, "I'm hungry, can we eat?"
Giggling for the millionth time, I nod, "sure babe, go ahead."
...
...
...
Babe. Uh oh. I didn't mean that.
"I-I mean-"
"It's ok, babe..." he smirks as he eats some of the ramen.
I smile and cut the salmon teriyaki. Biting into it, I hum in delight.
"Is it good?"
"It's more than good! It's exquisite!" I giggle, covering my mouth slightly (cause we have manners in this household.)
"Can I have a bit?" He asks. I nod and feed him a bit.
A few people around us coo at the sight of this. Blushing, I drop the fork.
"Oh no! I-I'm so sorry Luka!" I exclaim as the fork lands on his foot.
He smiles, "it's fine."
Picking it up, he says, "we'll just share a fork, hmm?"
I nod, embarrassed and happy at the same time.
I'm so glad I have him.
After we eat, we head out to go shopping for a bit.
"I was going to buy a vlog camera since the old selfie stick isn't going to help with the quality of the camera..."
"I'll help you pick one out..."he says.
Luka's PoV
Today has been, hands down, the happiest I have ever felt.
"Luka! There are the cameras!"
I watch her examine the cameras and she squeals with delight as she sees the Canon G7X III.
"This one! I've been wanting this one since I first thought about vlogging!...ahhh, but it's so expensive..."
I look at the price and almost choke at the price.
€780?!?
"......what do I do...the other ones are also expensive..."
I smile and hug her, "well, you can afford it right?"
"That's not the point! I'm not spending that much on a vlogging camera! And with the 2 year guarantee thing, it's just going to add up to €800! I told myself I'd never buy things that are this expensive, in one go, ever again!"
"......Chloe...you should go for it. Now, listen, if you do, you're vlogs will be better quality! You might get more views and then you can earn money from your YouTube videos! And then when you get signed to a music record and release your music, you'll be making this much everyday anyways!"
She scoffs, "if anyone likes me...I dunno Luka..."
I frown and pick up one of the boxes, placing it in her hand.
"Do it."
She sighs, "ok...I guess...
"Listen to this is well! The Canon G7X III has a tilting screen, 4K video, direct to YouTube options and an external microphone port! Sure it doesn't have a viewfinder and the screen doesn't articulate as well but you can fix that with a bit of twiddling with the camera, right?"
She smiles as I try to convince her, "why are you so adamant that I get this?"
"...because I know how much this means to you."
I really do Chloe. You love music and you love your fans that still accept you, despite your terrible past.
She tears up, "oh, you!"
Burying her head in my shoulder, she hugs me, the camera in one hand and the selfie stick in the other.
I kiss her lips and she smiles happily.
"I love you Chloe..."
"I love you too..."
