the doctor eventually came to unfortunately stop jaemin and donghyuck from beating up mark, and to fortunately inform them of renjun's condition
and mark almost punched jaemin in the face again for naming himself renjun's boyfriend
"He's stable, we managed to save him.."
all three boys cheered
"but.."
no butts no cuts no coconuts
"he somehow got a concussion, he will probably be in a coma for a short time and if he ever awakes he'll suffer from amnesia.."
"he won't remember any of you.."
Jaemin was fine with that, he never properly knew renjun so it really wasn't a change
Donghyuck and Mark on the other hand
they both took it as a chance to maybe rebuild what they both had with renjun
but then again
he could probably never wake up
but didn't mean they didn't have hopes

it had been five months since the accident, school was almost over
donghyuck kept mark away from renjun
and jaemin just spent his free hours hanging out with renjun's sleeping form
and today was one of those days jaemin was talking to renjun as he was told it would probably help renjun react and eventually wake up

they both watched as renjun stirred in his slumber
