It didn't take Angela long to find Edward, all she had to do was ask one of his little fans where he was and they pointed her in the direction of the classroom. Sure Angela was skipping class, but it was the first time ever and if missing an hour worth of lesson meant she could give the boy who made her best friend cry, a piece of her mind, then so be it.

Once Angela found the classroom she stood outside the door looking through the window. She knew Edward knew she was there, he'd looked at her when she first appeared, so now she would just have to wait for him to come out- which he had to do at some point.

It ended up taking Edward five more minutes of Angela staring at him to ask the teacher if he could excuse himself for the toilet. Angela couldn't help but think he was acting like a baby, it's not like she was going to start a fight with him.

As soon as the door had closed behind Edward, Angela went to start talking, until he grabbed her arm and dragged her around the corner, away from any classroom doors.

"One) Don't touch me ever again." Angela rubbed her arm where Edward had touched, it was like she was rubbing any diseases off. "Two) I don't know who the hell you think you are,-"

"Edward Cullen." A smirk graced his lips like he was happy at his reply, thinking he was being funny.

"Haha, has any one ever told you you're really funny? They should, because wow, you really are almost a comedian." Edward lost his smirk at this, clearly not finding Angela as funny. "As I was saying- I don't know what makes you think that you can treat that angel like that-" Edward went to reply to Angela "- No don't speak, I don't care about what you have to say. I just want you to know that you will never find anyone better, ever. You don't deserve to find anyone better. If you wanted to just be friends with her you should have acted like it, you shouldn't have taken her to a fancy meal anywhere, that's not what friends do."

Edward lowed his head like he was ashamed then quietly spoke, "I know."

"Theres just two things I want you to know. One) If you ever treat a girl like that again, I will hunt you down and do some serious damage." She wouldn't. Angela didn't have it in her, but she wanted Edward to think she did. "And two) That beautiful girl will be fine without you, there are hundreds of boys who want her at this school, and I'm gonna make sure you see how happy she is with one of them."

Angela didn't wait for Edward to reply, instead she turned on her heel and walked away, feeling better than she had ever felt. Instead of going back to any lessons Angela left school and set off on her way to Charlottes house, the two could have a sleepover and a good girly night. But they wouldn't discuss todays events, especially the conversation that had just happened.

And Charlotte didn't find out about the conversation that had happened, Angela never told her- instead she spoke all night about how Charlotte could get any guy she wanted, and needed to make Edward jealous. So that's what Charlotte was going to do, and the only way she could do that was through other boys.

Thats if Edward even cared.

"Hey Mike" Mike was the first boy Charlotte spotted when she came into the parking lot the next day, which meant it was her first victim- it was starting easy, Mike was upset over yesterdays events and fancied Charlotte anyway, or he did before the whole exposing Isabella thing. "How you feeling?' Charlotte placed a gentle hand on Mikes shoulder, looking at him through her lashes.

"Nickname, huh?" Mike gave a small smile towards the girl, "I've felt better though."

Charlotte moved her hand to start rubbing the slightly upset boys back, feeling multiple sets of eyes burning into the back of her head. "Oh I'm so sorry Mike, I feel like it's all my fault-" Mike was about to interrupt until Charlotte shook her head and continued, "I shouldn't have acted the way I did.... Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" Charlotte pulled a seductive smirk onto her face.

Mike seemed to catch onto what the girl meant, "Anything, huh?" Charlotte slowly bobbed her head, the same smirk on her face. "Accompany me on a date?" Now there was a matching smirk on his face- Charlotte didn't find it attractive at all, but she was doing what she needed to do.

"Oh my god." Angela laughed from her spot next to Mike.

Meanwhile a little flirty giggle left Charlotte's plump red lips, a hand coming up to cover her mouth, "I'll think about it Newton" She then leaned up to kiss his cheek, "See you later." She then strutted off towards the school doors, knowing she left Mike blushing. And also knowing that a certain someone didn't take his gaze off of her.

Once Charlotte had walked inside the doors, she couldn't help but rub her stomach and shake her head. That didn't feel good at all.

But Mike was just the first of many blushing boys that morning, most of them left in the hallway gushing to their friends on how the Charlotte Smith had spoken to them, or how she knew their names, or even how she flirted with them.

Edward Culled had heard the chatter. It was hard not to with supersonic hearing. He knew what Charlotte was doing- he'd read her mind- although it didn't take a mind reader to know that she was going for this classic tactic. Still, it didn't stop him from being jealous.

It was his Charlotte that they were talking about. No one except from him was allowed to talk about her like that. She wasn't theirs. But in reality, she wasn't his either, no matter how much he wished she was. Even though it was him that stopped anything from happening between them, it was for the best.... Or was it?

Maybe everything would be fine if she just knew the truth.

Charlotte knew that it was annoying Edward, she'd watch him walk past her with a clenched jaw and fist. How his eyes narrowed in on whoever she was just talking to. How he hadn't smiled once that day- however the last one wasn't that unusual.

Her knowing it annoyed him, lead to her continuing to do it, in fact she upped her game and sat with the whole football team. She felt bad not sitting with her friends, however only a few of them still liked her, well, two of them loved her- and one of those had a massive smile on her face giving the red head a thumbs up across the food court. Clearly she wasn't mad that Charlotte had left her sat with Isabella and Jessica- in fact why were those two still sat at the table?

Edward and the other Cullens were yet to walk into the food court, where were they? Charlotte didn't know if she could stand to sit and listen to the slightly misogynistic talk that was going on around her for much loner.

Fortunately for her the extremely good looking family walked in a few seconds later. Which caused the bored look the Smith girl was sporting to turn into a smug one. Edward and his family were yet to notice her, but it was only a matter of time until they realised she wasn't sat at her usual table.

Rosalie was the first one to notice her, her usual glare turning that much harder when she noticed the red hair mixed in with the sea of jocks, was this really how she was playing it? Rosalie had to admit it was smart, but it was such a human move, what ever happened to not getting bitter but getting better?

Emmett felt a nudge in his side from his wife, and then turned to look at where she was glaring. His face didn't turn into one of hate like Rosalie's did, it instead went to one of humour. This girl was smart. He liked her, she'd make a good sister one day.

Alice was the next, without help from her two adopted siblings, she knew this was coming anyway, she'd had a vision about it the previous night while Edward was out drowning his sorrows. Good for her. Alice wanted nothing more than for Edward to realise he'd made a mistake and go running back to Charlotte, she was the most amazing human Alice had met- even if she barely knew her.

Jasper was after Alice, he could feel the happiness that radiated from his wife, which also made him happy. Smart girl, make him see what he's missing. While Jasper didn't exactly want Edward to reconcile with the human girl because of the tempting smell of her blood, he wanted his brother to be happy and no longer lonely. He also wanted someone who'd be there for Alice when Rosalie wasn't.

Edward knew the second he walked in that she wasn't sat with her usual table, she wouldn't after yesterday. But he had hoped that she'd opted to sit with just her and Angela outside, but of course that wasn't the case, he could smell that she was in the canteen, and could see that Angela was sat at her usual table- without Charlotte. When Edward did spot her his mind went to mush, was she really serious? She couldn't sit with all these boys that were lusting after her.

The smug smirk she wore pissed the vampire off even more.

They needed to talk.

And they needed to talk now.
