Have you ever experienced the feeling of being in a void?
I'm pretty sure you haven't, am I right?
Well, right now, that's what I'm feeling or perhaps, seeing.
I'm in a fucking void.
I have no idea how long I've been here nor how I got here.
I'm just, here.
"Hinata!" several faint voices called out once again.
I've been hearing these voices for a while now, with no idea of its origin.
"Hinata!"
Now the voices seem to be closer and clearer.
In a situation like this, I would normally look around for things to do, but right now, I don't have the energy and will to.
"Are you alright?!" the voices ask in unison.
I opened my mouth to answer, but to no avail, words failed to come out.
Their voices sound faraway now, with only one staying.
"Kageyama..."
"Hinata, grab my hand."
I reach out to darkness as I continue to fling my arms.
Suddenly, a pair of powerful hands started shaking me, calling out my name, over and over again.
"Hinata!"
"Huh? What?!" I said sitting up.
I looked around to see my living room and Kageyama staring at me.
"Baka!" he blurted out, "What happened?!"
I take a deep breath before smiling at him, "Good Morning, Kageyama."
"Answer my question!"
"How did you get in here?" I glance at him questioningly.
He lifts his fingers to the bridge of his nose before saying, "You left your door open, WIDE open."
He suddenly loses his cool before screaming, "Now tell me what happened!"
"Geez, quiet down will you?" I said yawning, "With all your ruckus and noise the neighbors might think we're doing something mischievous.
His face reddens as he struggles to stand up.
"Get your uniform. I'm walking you to school."
"What?"
"Let's go to school together. Hurry up, I don't want to be late."
I slowly stood up and went over to my room with Kageyama following behind.
"W-what are you doing h-here?!" I stammer, "Wait outside!"
He just turns and makes his way out.
I whisper, "What a change of mood."

"Hey dumbass! Wait for me will you?"
I stopped my tracks and waited for Kageyama to catch up with me.
"Thought you didn't want to be late?" I sneer at him.
"I don't want to, but slow down will you?"
I turn my back on him before continuing with my fast pace, only to be pulled back by Kageyama. In front of me, a truck drove off.
"Watch where you're going!" he scolded.
I hung my head and whisper, "Sorry, please forgive me."
We started walking again but this time, Kageyama held my wrist.
"I can walk by myself," I growl at him.
He shrugs and answers, "I know, just wanted to make sure you don't get hit and run away."
I sigh as we continue on in silence.
"Mind telling me what happened?" He mumbles without staring at me.
I shrug my shoulders before saying, "Just a nightmare."
Kageyama chose to just nod his head and keep quiet.
"Why were you calling my name though?" he mumbles.
I look the other way as I felt my face heating up.
Shit! Shit! He heard me in my sleep?! Now he'll think dirty thoughts!
During the time I was mentally panicking, he was staring at me with amusement in his face.
Think Hinata, think!
"U-umm, an evil lord asked me who I wanted to be killed in my dream," I mumble, "I chose you."
At first I thought he was going to burst or yell at me, but boy, I was wrong.
He sighs and looks up, "Do you hate me that much, Hinata?"
"N-no! That's not what I mean," I blurt out.
He gave me a pained smirk before letting go of my wrist.
"We're here. I have some errands to run."
He left me standing alone, with my words at the tip of my tongue.
Did I say something wrong to upset him?
"Hinata-kun!" Suga-senpai and Nishinoya-senpai called out waving.
"Senpais!" I called out to them as well.
Both of them accompanied me as we entered the school. Yet, we had to separate due to our classrooms.
"See you later, senpais!" I called out, waving my hand.
I sprinted towards my classroom. When I got there, I noticed that most of my classmates were already there, yet, Kageyama's seat was empty.
Where could he be?
I also noticed that there was still lots of time, so I decided to stroll the school grounds.
Mmm... Fresh air....
I started ascending the rooftop to enjoy its peace only to hear familiar voices.
"Kageyama-kun, please go out with me!" the girl says bowing her head.
So that's the errand he had to do?
"Umm..." Kageyama mumbles, "Sorry, I have to think about it."
He then bows his head and walks towards the stairs.
The girl blocks his path before shouting, "No! Tell me now!"
"Mirai-chan, please-"
"I won't believe the rumors!"
Rumors?
Kageyama pauses before asking, "W-what rumors?"
"That you like boys!"
She grips Kageyama's shoulders before shouting, "But this isn't true right? Tell me it isn't!"
She then crashes her lips with his, taking him aback.
He gently pushes her away before mumbling, "Please excuse me."
He bows his head and walks toward my direction.
Hmm.....
I cross my arms before saying, "So that's the errand you had to do?"
He jumps in surprise before shouting, "Don't do that!"
"How long have you been there?"
"Long enough to see everything." I mumble.
I wonder if they talked about something else when I wasn't here..
Wait, what?! Why are you thinking about that? You're not suppose to care!
He shrugs his shoulder before saying, "Eh, not that I care."
"What's up with that mood?" I ask him glancing up.
"None of your business."
"Fine!" I said going down the stairs, "You know what? I don't care either."
"Hinata."
"You just go in my house inviting me to go to school with you, I became honest with you and here you are avoiding me and ignoring me for no reason. Why-"
Suddenly he lunged towards me causing me to crash on the floor.
"What was that for?!" I shout at him.
"Oh my gosh, Are you alright?" a boy leans down.
"I told you to watch where you're going," he mumbles into my ear.
He helps me up as I felt pain on the back of my head.
"Ouch.." I mutter.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," the boy kept apologizing.
"It's alright," I said rubbing the back of my head, "What's your name?"
The boy fumbles with the button of his uniform before saying, "Umm, Oikawa Shoyo."
"Are you a third-year?"
"U-um no. I'm a first-year, like you guys."
First year?! How come I don't know him?!
"I'm-"
"Hinata-kun, I know," he says, "And you are Kageyama-kun."
"How do you know our names?" Kageyama asks with that scowl on his face.
"You're famous among us first years who wouldn't know you?"
That's shocking.
"Wait, Toru?" Kageyama suddenly perks up, "Oikawa-senpai's brother?"
"You know Onii-san?"
"Hai!" I say.
"Onii-san only talks about you, Kageyama-kun," someone suddenly calls his name, "If you would excuse me, I'm sorry again." he said bowing.
We watch as he walks away,
"Hinata," Kageyama calls out.
"Yeah?"
"Isn't it a coincidence that he has your first name?"
"Hmm, now that I think of it, yes."
"Strange, Oikawa-senpai has never mentioned a sibling."
Ring! Ring!
"Let's go, we're going to be late." Kageyama says before sprinting away.
"Wait up!"
We arrived just as Miyuki-san entered our room.
"Ohayōgozaimasu, class."
"Ohayōgozaimasu, Miyuki-sensei!"
We all sat down as she continued yesterday's lesson. Soon enough, I found myself blinking to sleep.
Stay awake.
"Hinata-gakusei," she calls out.
I snap back as my classmates giggle.
"H-hai!"
"What's the answer?"
She asked a question?!
"U-umm," I mumbled.
I saw Kageyama lean towards Mirai-chan who smiles then scoots towards me, "It's 9."
I stand up and say, "9."
Sensei nods her head before continuing the lesson. I sat down in relief before showing a thumbs up towards Mirai-chan.
She's not bad at all.
I aslo found myself glancing at Kageyama's direction. Yet, he seemed to be avoiding my gaze.
Hmm, interesting.
