Your slumber was disturbed when your alarm rang, you groaned to this and reached out to the nightstand to turn it off. You slowly got up while rubbing your eyes and yawned at the same time before looking at the time
"6:00 am.... I guess I should get ready" you said and went to the bathroom
After you did your morning routine, you went downstairs with your bag in your right hand. You saw your brother in the kitchen making coffee for himself
"Oh? I thought practice today starts at 10?" The black haired male asked
"We'll be having a practice match today at 9 so we need to be early. It's a boys vs girls match" you replied while preparing your bento
"What school?"
"Karasuno"
"That school? That's used to be a powerhouse? It was rumored that they were called the 'The Fallen Powerhouse' or 'The Flightless Crows' when their coach stopped coaching the team due to retirement" He exclaimed making you stiffle a laugh
"What's so funny?"
"Psh, you and your stories. Brother, that doesn't change my perspective towards them. Powerhouse or not, it's still the same because they can always improve to become stronger and besides you haven't seen them in a match before and so does I so don't you ever judge a book by its cover" you protested
"Well.....I guess you're right" he admitted defeat
"I always am, aren't I?" you boasted
"You're so good with your words that's why I'm proud to be your big bro" he said and ruffled your (h/c) hair
"Hey! I just combed that properly tss.... I gotta go now. Coach might punish me for being late and when I mean punish, it means killing me in the process. Bye~" you said and ran off
"Ok, bye sis" he chuckled
Meanwhile with the Karasuno boys....
The trip was quiet and peaceful until it came to a stop. Which was your school, it was more like a combination of Shiratorizawa and Seijo which is bigger, way bigger. They stared in awe by their windows. Ukai-san and Takeda-sensei went out first and was greeted by a black haired woman with purple piercing eyes and a girl who had her blonde hair lowly braided.
"I assume you're the coach?"
"Oh, good morning. I'm Ittetsu Takeda the faculty advisor of the team and this is Keishin Ukai, the coach of the team and Kiyoko Shimuzu, the manager" Takeda-sensei introduced and shook hands with the ladies
"Umiko Ahagon, coach of team (team's name) and Karen Tendou, manager of the team" she replied before letting go of the handshake
The boys came out of the bus and started to unload their belongings. When they were done unloading, they faced the two ladies and bowed 90°
"Thank you for having us" they said in unison
Your coach just smiled and them and slightly bowed her head while you were already at the school gate when you noticed the bus and your coach talking with the other team's members. You entered the school's premises and started walking towards the gym trying to not get noticed but failed when your coach took notice of you.
"(L/n)," your coach called
You stopped at your tracks and faced her with smile causing the second years to swoon over you
"Good morning, coach" you greeted while walking towards them
"Well since you're here, why don't you lead our visitors to the gym while I'll go talk to the staffs" You coach said
"Sure thing" you replied before facing the boys
"Shall we?" You smiled
Some boys blushed at your gesture while Tsukishima just rolled his eyes
"A-are y-you r-really The (l/n) (f/n)? One of the top five best spikers in the country? The Queen of the Court?" The boy that has spiky black hair with a blonde streak in the middle asked
You chuckled at his question but when you heard the word 'Queen' your mood changed. You were emitting a dark aura that they didn't even notice except for a certain person and that is Kageyama Tobio
"Yes, I am" you smiled but you instantly changed it into a death glare sending shivers down their spines
"But don't you dare mention the word 'Queen' in public or else I'll rip your limbs and feed it to the dogs, got that pal?" You menaced
"But it's only you and our team here." Tsukishima said
"Tsk. Still not changing my word so remember that, understand?" You said in an authorized voice
They instantly nodded causing you to give a Queenly smile.
"Good. Now c'mon!" You said as you lead the group towards the gym
It was silently awkward but you couldn't take the awkwardness anymore so you decided to speak up
"So, how was your trip?" You asked
"It was fine actually," the brunet answered
"That's good to hear," you arrived infront of the gym's door
"Ok here we are. But before we go in, can I get your names and your positions?" You smiled
At first they were confused but a few moments later, they nodded in unison
"Sawamura Daichi, captain" the brunet said
"I'm Koshi Sugawara, setter" the guy with silver hair introduced
"A-Asahi Azumane, w-wing spiker"
"I'm gonna guess..... you're the ace," You said before proceeding to listen
"The name's Yū Nishinoya, libero" the spiky black haired boy said and smiled which you smiled back making him blush
"I'm Ryūnosuke Tanaka, Your Majesty. I'm a wing spiker" he said as bowed politely making you chuckle
"Chikara Ennoshita, I'm a wing spiker"
"H-hisashi Kinoshita, wing spiker"
"Kazuto Narita des, middle blocker"
"Tobio Kageyama, setter" the raven haired boy said bluntly making you roll your eyes
"Shoyo Hinata, middle blocker! Nice to meet you (l/n)-san" he said with a big smile on his face.
You chuckled at the view and ruffled his hair. "Nice to meet you too, Hinata-kun"
"She touched Hinata's hair~ I'm so jealous~" Tanaka said while hugging himself
"Oi Hinata! Aren't you unfair!" Nishinoya pouted
You chuckled and went back to listening.....
"Kei Tsukishima, middle blocker" the blonde haired guys said while staring at you intimidatingly but you ignored that and went on.
"Tadashi Yamaguchi, pinch server" the freckled boy said while blushing slightly
You smiled at them "it's a pleasure to meet you all"
You were about to open the gym door when you heard a familiar voice closing in. You turned your head and saw a girl with short blonde hair running towards the team. You were shocked but this didn't stop you from running towards her and giving her a bear hug
"Yachi!!!!!!" You ran towards her with arms open wide
The blonde haired girl looked at you making her face brighten up. Yachi was also happy to see you until she realized that you were running towards her.
"W-wait (f/n)-chan slo-" you hugged her so tight. How could you not miss your childhood friend. It was already 3 years since you two hung out.
"I miss you!!!" You said releasing her from the hug
She chuckled and smiled "I miss you too. So how are you?"
"I'm fine. Same old same" you smiled
You two were talking while walking towards the boys. The boys were left dumbfounded after you left them and ran over to Yachi.
"Sorry about that," you apologized
"It's fine, you know each other?" Suga asked
"Yep, she's my childhood friend" Yachi answered
"By the way, what brings you here?" You asked
"I'm here as the second manager of the team" she smiled
"Woah. That's good to hear, keep it up!" you said
You realized that you haven't went inside yet.
"Oh wait, sorry. Let's go inside now" you said as you opened the door
"Ohay-"
Smack.
You were caught off when a ball hit your forehead making Yachi panicked
"Hey (l/n)-san, a-are y-you alright?" Daichi asked nervously
When the ball hit your face everyone in the gym stopped their warm ups and spiking drills and looked at you with terrified faces.
"What a great way to start the day....."
