It was just for a moment that she was lost. Lost at the sight infront of her. She forgot why she's standing there, when a jfamiliar voice broke her out of the trance.
'Looking gorgeous, babydoll'
She turned and saw him. Her everything.
Preeta(shocked): karan..yeh sab tum ne?
Karan(smiled): yes babydoll.
He started coming to her and handed her a bouquet of her favorite flowers.
Preeta: white rose..yeh tu mere favourite hain..
Karan: isi liye tu laya hoon..
But then reality hit her.
Preeta: ek sec, tum aur shristi apas mein miley howe the?
Karan just smiled.
Preeta: us ko tu mein ghar ja k bataon gi.
Karan: kesa laga mera surprise?
Preeta smiled and hugged him.
Preeta: bohot khoobsurta hai karan...mein ne kabhi socha bhi nahi tha k tum itne romantic ho ge..
Karan broke the hug.
Karan: jab tum saath ho...tu koi kese romantic na ho?
Preeta chuckled.
Karan: acha ab yahi rehne ka iraada hai..
She nodded
Karan: tu phir chalo..
He took her hand and went to dining area. He pulled her chair so that she can sit.
She saw him with narrowed eyes
Karan: what?
Preeta: tum theek ho na? I mean itna protocol
Karan: protocol bhi tu sirf special logo ko hi diya jaata hai na?
Preeta smiled and sat. Karan too sat infront of her.
Preeta: is it date?
Karan gave her unbelievable look.
Karan: preeta arora..are you for real?
Preeta: mein ne aisa bhi kya pooch liya..
Karan: nahi..hum yahan date pe nahi...casual beach side, jahan pe tumhaare aur mere ilawa koi bhi nahi hai..dinner k liye aye hain
Preeta smiled.
Karan: tum bhi na...dumbo ho..
Preeta: yeh sari dishes meri fav hain..tum itna jaante ho mere baare mein
Karan looked at her.
Karan: shayad itna k tum bhi apne aap ko nahi jaanti hogi..
Preeta: itni special hoon mein tumhaare liye...
Karan kept his hands on her hands and said: sab se zyaada...no one can ever take place of you..
She smiled and he kissed her hands.
Karan stood up and offered his hand to her.
Karan: would you like to dance with me..pretty lady..
She smiled and placed her hand in his.
Preeta: I would love to, Mr.Handsome
He smiled and took her to dance.
He placed his hands on her waist and started dancing rythmically.
All the while his eyes were on her.
Karan: preeta...kya tumhe kabhi kisi ne bataya hai k tum kitni khoobsurat ho
Preeta: nahi tu..
He twirled her and backhugged her and start dancing.
She flinched because of his closeness and held his hand tightly.
He smiled due to his effect on her.
Karan: abhi bhi farq parhta hai..haan?
She blushed and smiled.
He turned her and pulled her closer. Their faces were inches away.
Karan looked into her eyes and said.
Karan: mein bohot lucky hoon preeta arora..keh tum meri life mein ho..
Preeta: feeling mutual...Mr.luthra.
Karan: attitude haan? Not bad
Preeta: aap hi ka asar hai..
Karan: acha?
Preeta nodded and he made her fall in his arms.
Karan: just 15 days..madam
Preeta: just 15 days...
They laughed and karan held her hand.
Preeta: thanks karan, for everything
Karan: yeh sab tu kuch bhi nahi preeta...
Preeta gave him confused look
He bent down on his knees and held her hand. Her happiness had no limits. You are very fortunate when the person you love most..loves you back. And right infront of her, her love was proposing her.
Karan: Ms. Preeta Arora..or should I say, Mrs. Karan Luthra..(she chuckles)...tum tu meri zindagi mein bohot pehle se hi thi...ya yeh kahoon jab se hosh sambhala....aankon k saamne tum hi thi...har waqt...but ehsaas nahi tha..k jo shaks mere saamne hai...jis se mein itna larta hoon....ajeeb ajeeb namon se bulata hoon....wohi meri zindagi ka maqsad ban jaye gi....(she was just lost in him)..jab wo shaks chala gya...tab kuch khaali pan zaroor mehsoos hota tha but pata nahi tha.....aur jab wohi shakhs saalon bad wapis ata hai....tu dil k sukoon mil gya...aisa laga keh jese kisi cheez ki kami poori ho gyi ho...aur phir dheere dheere tumhare liye care, concern, tumhaari choti choti baaton pr rona...bewajah ki mujh se zid krna...apna haq jatana...aur phir jab mein tum se door howa...tab mujhe ehsaas ho gya tha k tumhare bina karan luthra adhoora hai(she wiped the tears that started flowing, maybe because of happiness), tum hi meri zindagi ka asal maqsad ho babydoll.... you are the reason, I want to live. You are the reason, I forget every problem of my life, You are the reason, karan luthra can fight with every hurdle.
He kissed her hands and said: will you be mine, forever?
She was so surprised and happy at the same time that she didn't know how to react. But one thing was sure, she loved him beyond limits. So yes,
Preeta: yes, I'm yours. Yours Forever
He smiled and stood up. He took out the box from his pocket and took out the most beautiful ring.
He took her hand and aksed for permission. She nodded.
He slid the ring onto her finger and it was the most beautiful thing for her.
She hugged him and he hugged her back.
Preeta: I love you
Karan: I love you too
They broke the hug and were inches apart. He leaned but sensed that she isn't ready for that, yet as she closed her eyes. He kissed on her forehead instead.
She opened her eyes and smiled that he understood her well.
He held her by waist and she wrapped her hands around his neck.
Karan: promise me, that you'll stay with me, always..
Preeta: I promise.
They stood like that for a while under the moonlight, making their moments more beautiful.
Karan: preeta?
Preeta: hmmm?
She looked at him and understood what he wants. They both started leaning onto each other when she smirked and kissed him on cheek and ran away.
Karan: you're gone now..preeta..
He ran behind her and she was laughing.
Suddenly it started raining and she stopped, forgot that he was behind her.
Karan immediately held her and she was shocked. Now both of them were drenching in rain.
Karan: kya howa?
Preeta realized that they were too close.
Preeta: kuch bhi nahi..
Karan: abhi thori dair pehle, kya kiya tha, haan?
Preeta smirked and said: mein kiun kuch krne lagi?
She released herself from his grip when karan pulled her close.
